Titus 2

1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

Sənsə sağlam təlimə uyğun olanı öyrət.

2 That the aged men be sober minded, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

Yaşlı kişilər ayıq, ləyaqətli, ağıllı-kamallı, imanda, məhəbbətdə və dözümdə sağlam olsunlar.

3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

Yaşlı qadınlar da eyni şəkildə müqəddəslərə yaraşan tərzdə davransınlar. Böhtançı, şərab düşkünü olmasınlar və xeyirli şeyləri öyrədərək

4 That they may teach the young women to be sober minded, to love their husbands, to love their children,

tərbiyə etsinlər ki, gənc qadınlar ərlərini və uşaqlarını sevsinlər,

5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

ağıllı-kamallı, ismətli, evdar, xeyirxah, öz ərlərinə tabe olsunlar. O zaman Allahın kəlamına küfr olunmaz.

6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.

Gənc oğlanlara da ağıllı-kamallı olmaq üçün nəsihət ver.

7 In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing integrity, gravity, sincerity,

Yaxşı işlər görərək hər şeydə özünü nümunə göstər. Təlimdə dürüst və ləyaqətli olaraq

8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say concerning you.

tənqid olunmaz sağlam sözlər danış ki, sənə qarşı çıxanlar bizim haqqımızda pis bir söz deyə bilməyib utansın.

9 Exhort servants to be obedient to their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;

Qulları başa sal ki, hər şeydə öz ağalarına tabe olsunlar, onları razı salsınlar. Qoy cavab qaytarmasınlar,

10 Not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

oğurluq etməsinlər, amma hər baxımdan etibarlı olduqlarını göstərsinlər. Beləliklə, Xilaskarımız Allahın təlimini hər cəhətdən cazibəli etsinlər.

11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Çünki Allahın bütün insanlara xilas gətirən lütfü zühur etdi.

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (aiōn g165)

13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to himself his own special people, zealous of good works.

O Özünü bizim üçün fəda etdi ki, bizi hər cür qanunsuzluqdan satın alsın, təmizləyib Özünə məxsus və yaxşı işlərə səy göstərən bir xalq yaratsın.

15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
