< Song of Solomon 4 >
1 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves’ eyes within thy locks: thy hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from mount Gilead.
Wo ho yɛ fɛ, me dɔfoɔ! Ao, wo ho yɛ fɛ! Wʼaniwa a ɛhyehyɛ wo nkatanimu mu no te sɛ aborɔnoma. Wo nwi te sɛ mpapokuo a wɔresiane Gilead Bepɔ.
2 Thy teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came up from the washing; all of which bear twins, and none is barren among them.
Wo se te sɛ nnwankuo a wɔatwitwa wɔn ho nwi foforɔ, a wɔfiri adwareɛ. Wɔnam mmienu mmienu na wɔn mu biara nyɛ ankonam.
3 Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely: thy temples are like a piece of pomegranate within thy locks.
Wʼanofafa te sɛ koogyan ahoma; wʼano yɛ fɛ. Wʼasontorɔ mu a ɛhyɛ wo nkatanimu mu te sɛ ateaa aduaba fa.
4 Thy neck is like the tower of David built for an armoury, on which hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men.
Wo kɔn te sɛ Dawid abantenten, a wɔasi no fɛɛfɛ; na akokyɛm apem sensɛn ho, a ne nyinaa yɛ akofoɔ kyɛm.
5 Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies.
Wo nufu mmienu te sɛ atwe mma mmienu, atwe mma ntafoɔ a wɔdidi wɔ sukooko mu.
6 Until the day shall break, and the shadows flee away, I will go up to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.
Ɛnkɔ si sɛ adeɛ bɛkye, ama sunsum adwane no, mɛkɔ kurobo bepɔ ne aduhwam nkokoɔ no so.
7 Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee.
Me dɔfoɔ, wo ho yɛ fɛ papa; wo ho nni ɛdɛm biara.
8 Come with me from Lebanon, my spouse, with me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana, from the top of Shenir and Hermon, from the lions’ dens, from the mountains of the leopards.
Ma yɛn mfiri Lebanon, mʼayeforɔ, wo ne me mfiri Lebanon nkɔ. Siane firi Amana atifi bra, firi Senir atifi, Hermon apampam hɔ, firi agyata buo mu ne mmepɔ a asebɔ dɛɛdɛɛ hɔ.
9 Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; thou hast ravished my heart with one of thy eyes, with one chain of thy neck.
Woagye mʼakoma abɔ so, me nuabaa, mʼayeforɔ; woagye mʼakoma abɔ so wode wʼani a ɛbɔɔ me soɔ, ne wo kɔnmuadeɛ mu ɔbohemaa baako.
10 How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse! how much better is thy love than wine! and the fragrance of thy ointments than all spices!
Wo dɔ yɛ ahomeka, me nuabaa, mʼayeforɔ! Hwɛ wo dɔ sɔ ani sene bobesa, na wʼaduhwam yɛ hwam sene pɛperɛ biara.
11 Thy lips, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb: honey and milk are under thy tongue; and the scent of thy garments is like the fragrance of Lebanon.
12 A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.
Wote sɛ turo a wɔato ano ɛpono mu, me nuabaa, mʼayeforɔ; woyɛ asutire a wɔagye ho ban, asubura a wɔasɔ ano.
13 Thy plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; henna, with spikenard,
Wo nnua yɛ nnuabafuo so ateaa a ɛso aba pa, ahuahaa ne nnuannua,
14 Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices:
nnuannua ne mmɛtire, osiko ne sinamon, a ohwamfufuo nnua hodoɔ, kurobo ne dupapoɔ ne pɛperɛ papa ahodoɔ nyinaa ka ho.
15 A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon.
Woyɛ turo mu asubura. Woyɛ ɔtadeɛ a nsuo tene firi mu sane firi Lebanon.
16 Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that its spices may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.
Sɔre, atifi fam mframa! Bra, anafoɔ fam mframa! Bɔ fa me turo mu, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a ne hwa no bɛgyegye hɔ. Ma me dɔfoɔ mmra ne turo mu na ɔmmɛka ne nnuaba papa no nhwɛ.
