Psalms 63

1 A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

達味詩歌，作於飄流在猶大曠野時。 天主，您是我的天主，我急切祈求您；我的靈魂渴慕您，我的肉身切望您，我有如一塊乾旱涸竭的無水田地。

2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

我在聖殿裏瞻仰過您，為看到您的威能和您的光輝；

3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

您的慈愛比生命更為寶貴，我的唇舌要時常稱頌您。

4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

我要一生一世讚美您，我要因您的名把手舉起！

5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

我的心靈好像飽享了膏脂，我要以歡愉的口唇讚美您。

6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

我在床上想起了您，徹夜不眠地默想著您。

7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

因為您作了我的助佑，我要在您的羽翼下歡舞。

8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

我的心靈緊緊追隨您，您的右手常常扶持著我。

9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

那些謀圖陷害我命的人，必將墜落在地下的深層；

10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

他們必為刀劍所殺死，也必然為野犬所分食。

11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

但是君王必要因天主而喜慶；凡以天主宣誓的人，必要自幸，因為說謊的口，必要瘖啞失聲。
