Psalms 34
1 A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
൧ദാവീദ് അബീമേലെക്കിന്റെ മുൻപിൽ വച്ച് ബുദ്ധിഭ്രമം നടിക്കുകയും അവിടെനിന്ന് അവനെ പുറത്താക്കുകയും ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ പാടിയ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ എല്ലാകാലത്തും വാഴ്ത്തും; അവിടുത്തെ സ്തുതി എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ അധരങ്ങളിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear of it, and be glad.
൨എന്റെ ഹൃദയം യഹോവയിൽ പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നു; താഴ്മയുള്ളവർ അത് കേട്ട് സന്തോഷിക്കും.
3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
൩എന്നോടൊപ്പം യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വത്തെ ഘോഷിക്കുവിൻ; നാം ഒന്നിച്ച് അവിടുത്തെ നാമത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കുക.
4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
൪ഞാൻ യഹോവയോട് അപേക്ഷിച്ചു; അവിടുന്ന് എനിക്ക് ഉത്തരമരുളി; എന്റെ സകല ഭയങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു.
5 They looked to him, and were shining: and their faces were not ashamed.
൫അവിടുത്തെ നോക്കിയവർ പ്രകാശിതരായി; അവരുടെ മുഖം ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോയതുമില്ല.
6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
൬ഈ എളിയവൻ നിലവിളിച്ചു; യഹോവ കേട്ടു; അവന്റെ സകലകഷ്ടങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും അവനെ രക്ഷിച്ചു.
7 The angel of the LORD encampeth around them that fear him, and delivereth them.
൭യഹോവയുടെ ദൂതൻ അവിടുത്തെ ഭക്തന്മാരുടെ ചുറ്റും പാളയമിറങ്ങി അവരെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.
8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
൮യഹോവ നല്ലവൻ എന്ന് രുചിച്ചറിയുവിൻ; അവിടുത്തെ ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ.
9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no lack to them that fear him.
൯യഹോവയുടെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരേ, അവിടുത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുവിൻ; ദൈവഭക്തന്മാർക്ക് ഒരു കുറവും ഇല്ലല്ലോ.
10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.
൧൦ബാലസിംഹങ്ങൾ പോലും ഇരകിട്ടാതെ വിശന്നിരിക്കാം; യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവർക്കോ ഒരു നന്മയ്ക്കും കുറവുണ്ടാകുകയില്ല.
11 Come, ye children, hearken to me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
൧൧മക്കളേ, വന്ന് എനിക്ക് ചെവിതരുവിൻ; യഹോവാഭക്തി ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരാം.
12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
൧൨ജീവനെ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുകയും ദീർഘായുസ്സോടെയിരുന്ന് നന്മ കാണുവാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ആര്?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
൧൩ദോഷം ചെയ്യാതെ നിന്റെ നാവിനെയും വ്യാജം പറയാതെ നിന്റെ അധരത്തെയും കാത്തുകൊള്ളുക;
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
൧൪ദോഷം വിട്ടകന്ന് നന്മചെയ്യുക; സമാധാനം അന്വേഷിച്ച് അതിനെ പിന്തുടരുക.
15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry.
൧൫യഹോവയുടെ കണ്ണ് നീതിമാന്മാരുടെമേലും അവിടുത്തെ ചെവി അവരുടെ നിലവിളിക്കും തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
൧൬ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരുടെ ഓർമ്മയെ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്ന് മായിച്ചു കളയേണ്ടതിന് യഹോവയുടെ മുഖം അവർക്ക് പ്രതികൂലമായിരിക്കുന്നു.
17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
൧൭നീതിമാന്മാർ നിലവിളിച്ചു; യഹോവ കേട്ടു, സകലകഷ്ടങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും അവരെ വിടുവിച്ചു.
18 The LORD is near to them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as are of a contrite spirit.
൧൮ഹൃദയം നുറുങ്ങിയവർക്ക് യഹോവ സമീപസ്ഥൻ; മനസ്സു തകർന്നവരെ അവിടുന്ന് രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
൧൯നീതിമാന്റെ അനർത്ഥങ്ങൾ അസംഖ്യമാകുന്നു; അവയിൽ നിന്നെല്ലാം യഹോവ അവനെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.
20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
൨൦അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികൾ എല്ലാം അവിടുന്ന് സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; അവയിൽ ഒന്നും ഒടിഞ്ഞുപോകുകയില്ല.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
൨൧തിന്മ ദുഷ്ടനെ കൊല്ലുന്നു; നീതിമാനെ വെറുക്കുന്നവർ ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കും.
22 The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
൨൨യഹോവ തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവത്തെ ശരണമാക്കുന്നവർ ആരും ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കുകയില്ല.
