Psalms 21
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
൧സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്ക്; ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. യഹോവേ, രാജാവ് അങ്ങയുടെ ബലത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു; അവിടുത്തെ രക്ഷയിൽ അവൻ ഏറ്റവും ഉല്ലസിക്കുന്നു.
2 Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withheld the request of his lips. (Selah)
൨അവന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിലെ ആഗ്രഹം അവിടുന്ന് അവന് നല്കി; അവന്റെ അധരങ്ങളുടെ യാചന നിഷേധിച്ചതുമില്ല. (സേലാ)
3 For thou meetest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.
൩സമൃദ്ധമായ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങളാൽ അവിടുന്ന് അവനെ എതിരേറ്റ്, തങ്കക്കിരീടം അവന്റെ തലയിൽ വയ്ക്കുന്നു.
4 He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it to him, even length of days for ever and ever.
൪അവൻ അങ്ങയോട് ജീവൻ ചോദിച്ചു; അവിടുന്ന് അവനു കൊടുത്തു; എന്നെന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ദീർഘായുസ്സ് തന്നെ.
5 His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.
൫അങ്ങയുടെ സഹായത്താൽ അവന്റെ മഹത്വം വർദ്ധിച്ചു; ബഹുമാനവും തേജസ്സും അവിടുന്ന് അവനെ അണിയിച്ചു.
6 For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.
൬അവിടുന്ന് അവനെ എന്നേക്കും അനുഗ്രഹസമൃദ്ധിയുള്ളവനാക്കുന്നു; തിരുസന്നിധിയിലെ സന്തോഷംകൊണ്ട് അവനെ ആനന്ദിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
7 For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.
൭രാജാവ് യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു; അത്യുന്നതന്റെ കാരുണ്യംകൊണ്ട് അവൻ കുലുങ്ങാതെയിരിക്കും.
8 Thy hand shall find out all thy enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
൮അങ്ങയുടെ കൈ അങ്ങയുടെ സകലശത്രുക്കളെയും കണ്ടുപിടിക്കും; അങ്ങയുടെ വലങ്കൈ അങ്ങയെ വെറുക്കുന്നവരെ പിടികൂടും.
9 Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thy anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
൯അവിടുന്ന് പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ അവരെ തീച്ചൂളപോലെയാക്കും; യഹോവ തന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിൽ അവരെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളയും; തീ അവരെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കും.
10 Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
൧൦അങ്ങ് അവരുടെ ഉദരഫലത്തെ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നും അവരുടെ സന്തതിയെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നും നശിപ്പിക്കും.
11 For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.
൧൧അവർ അങ്ങേക്കു വിരോധമായി ദോഷം വിചാരിച്ചു; അവരാൽ കഴിയാത്ത ഒരു ഉപായം നിരൂപിച്ചു.
12 Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thy arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.
൧൨അങ്ങ് അവരെ പുറംതിരിഞ്ഞ് ഓടുമാറാക്കും; അവരുടെ മുഖത്തിനുനേരെ അസ്ത്രം ഞാണിന്മേൽ തൊടുക്കും.
13 Be thou exalted, LORD, in thy own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.
൧൩യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ ശക്തിയിൽ ഉയർന്നിരിക്കണമേ; ഞങ്ങൾ പാടി അങ്ങയുടെ ബലത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കും.
