Psalms 140
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;
ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଦୁର୍ଜ୍ଜନଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର; ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ୟକାରୀ ମନୁଷ୍ୟଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କର।
2 Who imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.
ସେମାନେ ମନେ ମନେ କୁକଳ୍ପନା କରନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
3 They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders’ poison is under their lips. (Selah)
ସେମାନେ ସର୍ପ ପରି ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଜିହ୍ୱା ତୀକ୍ଷ୍ଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଓଷ୍ଠାଧର ତଳେ କାଳସର୍ପର ଗରଳ ଥାଏ। (ସେଲା)
4 Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.
ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ହସ୍ତରୁ ମୋତେ ରଖ; ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ୟକାରୀ ମନୁଷ୍ୟଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କର; ସେମାନେ ବିପଥକୁ ମୋʼ ଚରଣ ପେଲି ଦେବା ପାଇଁ କଳ୍ପନା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
5 The proud have hid a trap for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the way side; they have set snares for me. (Selah)
ଅହଙ୍କାରୀମାନେ ଗୋପନରେ ମୋʼ ପାଇଁ ଫାନ୍ଦ ଓ ଦଉଡ଼ି ପାତିଅଛନ୍ତି। ସେମାନେ ପଥ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱରେ ଜାଲ ପ୍ରସାରି ଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ପାଇଁ ଯନ୍ତା ବସାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି। (ସେଲା)
6 I said to the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.
ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ କହିଲି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର; ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋʼ ନିବେଦନର ରବରେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣପାତ କର।
7 O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.
ହେ ମୋʼ ପରିତ୍ରାଣର ବଳ ସ୍ୱରୂପ, ପ୍ରଭୋ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧର ଦିନରେ ମୋʼ ମସ୍ତକ ରକ୍ଷା କରିଅଛ।
8 Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. (Selah)
ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ବାଞ୍ଛା ପ୍ରଦାନ କର ନାହିଁ; ତାହାର କୁକଳ୍ପନା ସିଦ୍ଧ କର ନାହିଁ; କେଜାଣି ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗର୍ବିତ କରିବେ। (ସେଲା)
9 As for the head of those that surroundeth me, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋତେ ଘେରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିଜ ଓଷ୍ଠାଧରର ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମସ୍ତକ ଉପରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତୁ।
10 Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not again.
ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଜ୍ୱଳନ୍ତା ଅଙ୍ଗାର ପଡ଼ୁ। ସେମାନେ ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ନିକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ସେମାନେ ଯେପରି ଆଉ ଉଠି ନ ପାରିବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଗଭୀର ଗର୍ତ୍ତରେ ନିକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ।
11 Let not an evil speaker be established on the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.
ଦୁର୍ମୁଖ ଲୋକ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ସ୍ଥିର ହେବ ନାହିଁ; ଉପଦ୍ରବୀକୁ ନିପାତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ମୃଗୟା କରିବ।
12 I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଦୁଃଖୀର ବିବାଦ ଓ ଦୀନହୀନର ବିଚାର ନିଷ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବେ, ଏହା ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ।
13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks to thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.
ଧାର୍ମିକମାନେ ଅବଶ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ କରିବେ; ସରଳ ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଛାମୁରେ ବାସ କରିବେ।
