Psalms 131

1 A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

Pieśń stopni Dawida. PANIE, moje serce nie wywyższa się i moje oczy nie są wyniosłe ani nie ubiegam się o wielkie rzeczy albo zbyt cudowne dla mnie.

2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned by his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

Doprawdy uciszyłem i uspokoiłem swoją duszę jak [dziecko] odstawione od [piersi] swej matki; moja dusza jest jak [dziecko] odstawione.

3 Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.

Niech Izrael pokłada nadzieję w PANU odtąd na wieki.
