Psalms 101

1 A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and judgment: to thee, O LORD, will I sing.

Psalm Dawida. Będę śpiewał o miłosierdziu i sądzie; tobie, PANIE, będę śpiewać.

2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

Kroczyć będę mądrze drogą prawą. Kiedy przyjdziesz do mnie? Będę postępował w swoim domu w prawości serca.

3 I will set no wicked thing before my eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

Nie będę stawiał przed oczami niegodziwej rzeczy; nienawidzę czynów ludzi występnych, nie przylgną one do mnie.

4 A perverse heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.

Serce przewrotne odstąpi ode mnie, nie chcę znać złego.

5 Whoever secretly slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart I will not endure.

Zgładzę tego, który potajemnie oczernia swego bliźniego, nie zniosę wyniosłych oczu i nadętego serca.

6 My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

Moje oczy [zwrócone będą] na wiernych tej ziemi, aby mieszkali ze mną; kto chodzi drogą prawą, ten będzie mi służyć.

7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

Nie zamieszka w moim domu oszust, kłamca nie ostoi się przed mymi oczyma.

8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all who practise wickedness from the city of the LORD.

Każdego ranka będę tępić wszystkich niegodziwych na ziemi, aby tak wykorzenić z miasta PANA wszystkich złoczyńców.
