Nehemiah 3

1 Then Eliashib the high priest arose with his brethren the priests, and they built the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even to the tower of Meah they sanctified it, to the tower of Hananeel.

तब महापुरोहित एलियाशिब ने अपने भाइयों को अपने साथ लिया, जो पुरोहित थे और इन्होंने भेड़-फाटक को बना दिया. उन्होंने इसे समर्पित किया और इसके पल्ले उसमें जड़ दिए. उन्होंने शहरपनाह को हम्मेआ और हनानेल मीनारों तक समर्पित कर दिया.

2 And next to him built the men of Jericho. And next to them built Zaccur the son of Imri.

इसके पास वाले भाग को येरीख़ो के लोगों ने बनाया और उनके पास वाले इलाके को इमरी के पुत्र ज़क्‍कूर ने.

3 But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid its beams, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.

इसके बाद सेनाआह के पुत्रों ने मछली फाटक को बनाया. उन्होंने इसके पल्ले की कड़ियां डालीं, द्वारों को चिटकनियों और छड़ों से लटका दिया.

4 And next to them repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah, the son of Koz. And next to them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabeel. And next to them repaired Zadok the son of Baana.

इनके बाद हक्कोज़ के पोते उरियाह के पुत्र मेरेमोथ ने मरम्मत का काम किया. उसके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत का काम मेशेजाबेल के पोते बेरेखियाह के बेटे मेशुल्लाम ने किया. और फिर यही काम बाअनाह के बेटे सादोक ने भी किया.

5 And next to them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their Lord.

इसके अलावा उसके पास के भाग की मरम्मत तकोआ निवासियों ने की, मगर उनके नगर के बड़े लोगों ने अपने अधिकारियों को इस काम में सहायता नहीं दी.

6 Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid its beams, and set up its doors, and its locks, and its bars.

पासेह के पुत्र योइयादा ने और बेसादियाह के पुत्र मेशुल्लाम ने पुराने फाटक की मरम्मत की. इन्होंने इसकी कड़ियां डालीं और इसके पल्लों को इसकी चिटकनियों और इनकी छड़ों से लटका दिया.

7 And next to them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, to the throne of the governor on this side of the river.

उनके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत गिबियोनवासी मेलातियाह और मेरोनोथी यादोन ने की, जो गिबयोनवासी और मिज़पाहवासी थे, उन्होंने उस नदी के दूसरी ओर के प्रदेश के राज्यपाल के लिए उसके सिंहासन की मरम्मत भी की.

8 Next to him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next to him also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the perfumers, and they fortified Jerusalem to the broad wall.

उसके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत सुनारों में से हरहइयाह के पुत्र उज्ज़िएल ने की. उसके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत सुगंध बनाने वालों में से एक ने की, जिसका नाम हननियाह था. इस प्रकार उन्होंने येरूशलेम को फैली हुई शहरपनाह तक पहले की तरह ला दिया.

9 And next to them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem.

उनके पासवाली जगहों की मरम्मत हूर के पुत्र रेफ़ाइयाह ने, जो येरूशलेम के आधे क्षेत्र का अधिकारी था, की.

10 And next to them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, opposite his house. And next to him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabniah.

इनके पासवाली जगहों की मरम्मत हारुमाफ के पुत्र येदाइयाह ने अपने घर के सामने के इलाके में की. उसके पासवाली जगहों की मरम्मत हशबनेइयाह के पुत्र हत्तुष ने की.

11 Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hashub the son of Pahathmoab, repaired the other piece, and the tower of the furnaces.

हारिम के पुत्र मालखियाह और पाहाथ-मोआब के पुत्र हस्षूब ने एक दूसरे भाग की और भट्ठियों के मीनारों की मरम्मत की.

12 And next to him repaired Shallum the son of Halohesh, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.

उसके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत हल्लेहेष के पुत्र शल्लूम ने, जो येरूशलेम में के आधे क्षेत्र का अधिकारी था, अपनी पुत्रियों के साथ मिलकर की.

13 The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and a thousand cubits on the wall to the dung gate.

हानून और ज़ानोहावासियों ने घाटी फाटक की मरम्मत की. उन्होंने इसको बनाया और इसके पल्लों को इसकी चिटकनियों और छड़ों सहित लटका दिया. उन्होंने इसके अलावा कूड़ा फाटक तक लगभग पांच सौ मीटर शहरपनाह को भी बनाया.

14 But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Bethhaccerem; he built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.

रेखाब के पुत्र मालखियाह ने, जो बेथ-हक्‍केरेम क्षेत्र का अधिकारी था, कूड़ा फाटक की मरम्मत की. उसने इसको बनाया और इसके पल्लों को इसकी चिटकनियों और छड़ों सहित लटका दिया.

15 But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king’s garden, and to the stairs that descend from the city of David.

कोल-होज़ेह के पुत्र शल्लूम ने, जो मिज़पाह क्षेत्र का अधिकारी था, झरना फाटक की मरम्मत की. उसने इसको बनाया, पल्लों को चिटकनियों और छड़ों सहित लटका दिया और उसके ऊपर छत भी बना दी. इसके अलावा उसने शेलाह के तालाब की शहरपनाह को भी बनाया. यह शहरपनाह राजा के बगीचे से लेकर उन सीढ़ियों तक बनाई गई, जो दावीद के नगर से उतरती हुई आती थी.

16 After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Bethzur, to the place opposite the sepulchres of David, and to the pool that was made, and to the house of the mighty.

इसके बाद अज़बुक के पुत्र नेहेमियाह ने, जो बेथ-त्सूर के आधे क्षेत्र का अधिकारी था, दावीद की कब्रों की गुफा तक के बिंदु तक शहरपनाह की मरम्मत की और वीरों के घर और तालाबों तक की शहरपनाह की भी.

17 After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next to him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of the half part of Keilah, in his part.

पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत बानी के पुत्र रेहुम की देखरेख में लेवियों ने की. उसके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत, काइलाह के आधे क्षेत्र के अधिकारी हशाबियाह ने अपने क्षेत्र में पूरी की.

18 After him repaired their brethren, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah.

उसके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत उनके भाइयों ने काइलाह के क्षेत्र के बचे हुए भाग के अधिकारी हेनादाद के पुत्र बव्वाई की निगरानी में पूरी हुई.

19 And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece opposite the ascent to the armoury at the turning of the wall.

उसके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत येशुआ के पुत्र एज़र ने की, जो मिज़पाह का अधिकारी था, यह उस शस्त्रों के घर के सामने था, जो चढ़ाई तक था.

20 After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of the wall to the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.

उसके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत ज़ब्बाई के पुत्र बारूख ने बहुत ही उत्साह से की, जो उस चढ़ाई से लेकर महापुरोहित एलियाशिब के घर के द्वार तक है.

21 After him repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah the son of Koz another piece, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.

उसके पास वाले भाग की हक्कोज़ के पोते उरियाह के पुत्र मेरेमोथ ने और दूसरे भागों की भी मरम्मत की. यह भाग एलियाशिब के घर के द्वार से शुरू होकर उसके घर के आखिरी छोर तक था.

22 And after him repaired the priests, the men of the plain.

उसके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत घाटी के पास रहनेवाले पुरोहितों ने की.

23 After him repaired Benjamin and Hashub opposite their house. After him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah by his house.

उनके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत बिन्यामिन और हस्षूब ने की. उन्होंने अपने-अपने घरों के सामने के भाग की मरम्मत की. उनके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत मआसेइयाह के पुत्र अननियाह के पोते अज़रियाह ने अपने घर के पास की शहरपनाह की मरम्मत की.

24 After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah to the turning of the wall, even to the corner.

उसके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत हेनादाद के पुत्र बिन्‍नूइ ने की. यह भाग अज़रियाह के घर से मोड़ तक और कोने तक फैला हुआ था.

25 Palal the son of Uzai, opposite the turning of the wall, and the projecting tower from the king’s upper house, that was by the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh.

उज़ाई के पुत्र पलाल ने उस भाग की मरम्मत की, जो मोड़ के सामने से शुरू होकर राजमहल के ऊपरी माले के घर के गुम्मट तक है. यह पहरेदारों के आंगन के पास है. उसके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत पारोश के पुत्र पेदाइयाह ने की.

26 Moreover the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel, to the place opposite the water gate toward the east, and the projecting tower.

मंदिर के उन सेवकों ने, जो ओफेल में रहते थे, जल फाटक के सामने के भाग तक की मरम्मत की. यह वह फाटक था, जो पूर्व दिशा की ओर था, जहां पहरेदारों का गुम्मट था.

27 After them the Tekoites repaired another piece, opposite the great projecting tower, even to the wall of Ophel.

इनके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत तकोआ निवासियों ने की. यह भाग बाहर निकले हुए पहरेदारों के गुम्मट के सामने से ओफेल की शहरपनाह तक फैला हुआ था.

28 From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one opposite his house.

पुरोहितों ने घोड़ा फाटक के ऊपर के भाग की मरम्मत की, हर एक ने अपने-अपने घर के सामने के भाग की.

29 After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer opposite his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate.

उनके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत इम्मर के पुत्र सादोक ने की जो उसके घर के सामने का भाग था. उसके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत शेकानियाह के पुत्र शेमायाह ने की, जो पूर्वी फाटक का द्वारपाल था.

30 After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah opposite his chamber.

उसके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत शेलेमियाह के पुत्र हननियाह और ज़लाफ़ के छठे पुत्र हानून ने की. उसके पास वाले भाग की मरम्मत बेरेखियाह के पुत्र मेशुल्लाम ने की जो उसके घर के सामने का भाग था.

31 After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmith’s son to the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, opposite the gate Miphkad, and to the ascent of the corner.

उसके पास वाले भाग का मालखियाह ने, जो सुनारों में से एक था, मंदिर के सेवकों और व्यापारियों के घर से लेकर, जो मुस्तर अर्थात् मुआयना फाटक के सामने था, कोने के ऊपरी कमरे तक मरम्मत का काम पूरा किया.

32 And between the ascent of the corner to the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.

तब कोने के ऊपरी कमरे और भेड़-फाटक के बीच की शहरपनाह की मरम्मत सुनारों और व्यापारियों ने पूरी की.
