Nehemiah 12

1 Now these are the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,

൧ശെയല്ത്തീയേലിന്റെ മകൻ സെരുബ്ബാബേലിനോടും യേശുവയോടും കൂടെ വന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും ഇവരാണ്:

2 Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,

൨സെരായാവ്, യിരെമ്യാവ്, എസ്രാ, അമര്യാവ്,

3 Shechaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,

൩മല്ലൂക്, ഹത്തൂശ്, ശെഖന്യാവ്, രെഹൂം,

4 Iddo, Ginnetho, Abijah,

൪മെരേമോത്ത്, ഇദ്ദോ, ഗിന്നെഥോയി,

5 Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,

൫അബ്ബീയാവ്, മീയാമീൻ; മയദ്യാവ്, ബില്ഗാ,

6 Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,

൬ശെമയ്യാവ്, യോയാരീബ്, യെദായാവ്,

7 Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chief of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua.

൭സല്ലൂ, ആമോക്, ഹില്ക്കീയാവ്, യെദായാവ്. ഇവർ യേശുവയുടെ കാലത്ത് പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെയും തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെയും തലവന്മാർ ആയിരുന്നു.

8 Moreover the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, who was over the thanksgiving, he and his brethren.

൮ലേവ്യരോ യേശുവ, ബിന്നൂവി, കദ്മീയേൽ, ശേരെബ്യാവ്, യെഹൂദാ എന്നിവരും സ്തോത്രഗാനനായകനായ മത്ഥന്യാവും സഹോദരന്മാരും.

9 Also Bakbukiah and Unni, their brethren, stood opposite them in the watches.

൯അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ ബക്ക്ബൂക്ക്യാവും ഉന്നോവും അവർക്ക് സഹകാരികളായി ശുശ്രൂഷിച്ച് നിന്നു.

10 And Jeshua begat Joiakim, Joiakim also begat Eliashib, and Eliashib begat Joiada,

൧൦യേശുവ യോയാക്കീമിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; യോയാക്കീം എല്യാശീബിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; എല്യാശീബ് യോയാദയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;

11 And Joiada begat Jonathan, and Jonathan begat Jaddua.

൧൧യോയാദാ യോനാഥാനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; യോനാഥാൻ യദ്ദൂവയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

12 And in the days of Joiakim were priests, the heads of the fathers: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;

൧൨യോയാക്കീമിന്റെ കാലത്ത് പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരായിരുന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാർ സെരായാകുലത്തിന് മെരായ്യാവ്; യിരെമ്യാകുലത്തിന് ഹനന്യാവ്;

13 Of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;

൧൩എസ്രാകുലത്തിന് മെശുല്ലാം;

14 Of Melicu, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;

൧൪അമര്യാകുലത്തിന് യെഹോഹാനാൻ; മല്ലൂക്ക്കുലത്തിന് യോനാഥാൻ; ശെബന്യാകുലത്തിന് യോസേഫ്;

15 Of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;

൧൫ഹാരീംകുലത്തിന് അദ്നാ; മെരായോത്ത് കുലത്തിന് ഹെല്ക്കായി;

16 Of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;

൧൬ഇദ്ദോകുലത്തിന് സെഖര്യാവ്; ഗിന്നെഥോൻകുലത്തിന് മെശുല്ലാം;

17 Of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin, of Moadiah, Piltai;

൧൭അബീയാകുലത്തിന് സിക്രി; മിന്യാമീൻകുലത്തിനും മോവദ്യാകുലത്തിനും പിൽതായി;

18 Of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;

൧൮ബില്ഗാകുലത്തിന് ശമ്മൂവ; ശെമയ്യാകുലത്തിന് യെഹോനാഥാൻ;

19 And of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;

൧൯യോയാരീബ്കുലത്തിന് മഥെനായി; യെദായാകുലത്തിന് ഉസ്സി;

20 Of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;

൨൦സല്ലായികുലത്തിന് കല്ലായി; ആമോക് കുലത്തിന് ഏബെർ;

21 Of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethaneel.

൨൧ഹില്ക്കീയാകുലത്തിന് ഹശബ്യാവ്; യെദായാകുലത്തിന് നെഥനയേൽ.

22 The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were recorded heads of the fathers: also the priests, to the reign of Darius the Persian.

൨൨എല്യാശീബ്, യോയാദാ, യോഹാനാൻ, യദ്ദൂവ എന്നിവരുടെ കാലത്ത് ലേവ്യരെയും പാർസിരാജാവായ ദാര്യാവേശിന്റെ കാലത്ത് പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരായി എഴുതിവച്ചു.

23 The sons of Levi, the heads of the fathers, were written in the book of the chronicles, even till the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.

൨൩ലേവ്യരായ പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാർ ഇന്നവരെന്ന് എല്യാശീബിന്റെ മകൻ യോഹാനാന്റെ കാലം വരെ ദിനവൃത്താന്തപുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരുന്നു.

24 And the chief of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren opposite them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, division side by side with division.

൨൪ലേവ്യരുടെ തലവന്മാർ: ഹശബ്യാവ്, ശേരെബ്യാവ്, കദ്മീയേലിന്റെ മകൻ യേശുവ എന്നിവരും അവരുടെ സഹകാരികളായ സഹോദരന്മാരും ദൈവപുരുഷനായ ദാവീദിന്റെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം തരംതരമായി നിന്ന് സ്തുതിയും സ്തോത്രവും ചെയ്തുവന്നു.

25 Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were porters keeping the watch at the storehouses of the gates.

൨൫മത്ഥന്യാവും ബക്ക്ബൂക്ക്യാവ്, ഓബദ്യാവ്, മെശുല്ലാം, തല്മോൻ, അക്കൂബ്, എന്നിവർ വാതിലുകൾക്കരികെയുള്ള ഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹങ്ങൾ കാക്കുന്ന വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാർ ആയിരുന്നു.

26 These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.

൨൬ഇവർ യോസാദാക്കിന്റെ മകനായ യേശുവയുടെ മകൻ യോയാക്കീമിന്റെ കാലത്തും ദേശാധിപതിയായ നെഹെമ്യാവിന്റെയും ശാസ്ത്രിയായ എസ്രാപുരോഹിതന്റെയും കാലത്തും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

27 And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.

൨൭യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ മതിൽ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ച സമയം അവർ സ്തോത്രങ്ങളോടും സംഗീതത്തോടുംകൂടെ കൈത്താളങ്ങളും വീണകളും കിന്നരങ്ങളുംകൊണ്ട് സന്തോഷപൂർവ്വം പ്രതിഷ്ഠ ആചരിപ്പാൻ ലേവ്യരെ അവരുടെ സർവ്വവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും യെരൂശലേമിലേക്ക് അന്വേഷിച്ചു വരുത്തി.

28 And the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the plain country around Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi;

൨൮അങ്ങനെ സംഗീതക്കാരുടെ വർഗ്ഗം യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പ്രദേശത്ത് നിന്നും നെതോഫാത്യരുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും

29 Also from the house of Gilgal, and from the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singers had built them villages around Jerusalem.

൨൯ബേത്ത്-ഗിൽഗാലിൽനിന്നും ഗിബയുടെയും അസ്മാവെത്തിന്റെയും നാട്ടിൻപുറങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും വന്നുകൂടി; സംഗീതക്കാർ യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ ചുറ്റും തങ്ങൾക്ക് ഗ്രാമങ്ങൾ പണിതിരുന്നു.

30 And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.

൩൦പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും തങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചതിനുശേഷം ജനത്തെയും വാതിലുകളെയും മതിലിനെയും ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു.

31 Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, of which one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate:

൩൧പിന്നെ ഞാൻ യെഹൂദാപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ മതിലിന്മേൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി; സ്തോത്രഗാനം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് പ്രദക്ഷിണം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന് രണ്ട് വലിയ സംഘങ്ങളെ നിയമിച്ചു; അവയിൽ ഒന്ന് മതിലിന്മേൽ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തുകൂടി കുപ്പവാതില്‍ക്കലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

32 And after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah,

൩൨അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ ഹോശയ്യാവും യെഹൂദാപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരിൽ പകുതിപേരും നടന്നു.

33 And Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,

൩൩അസര്യാവും എസ്രയും മെശുല്ലാമും

34 Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,

൩൪യെഹൂദയും ബെന്യാമീനും ശെമയ്യാവും

35 And certain of the priests’ sons with trumpets; namely, Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Michaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph:

൩൫യിരെമ്യാവും കാഹളങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പുരോഹിതപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചിലരും ആസാഫിന്റെ മകനായ സക്കൂരിന്റെ മകനായ മീഖായാവിന്റെ മകനായ മത്ഥന്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ശെമയ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോനാഥാന്റെ മകൻ സെഖര്യാവും

36 And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God, and Ezra the scribe before them.

൩൬ദൈവപുരുഷനായ ദാവീദിന്റെ വാദ്യങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ ശെമയ്യാവ് അസരയേലും മീലലായിയും ഗീലലായിയും മായായിയും നെഥനയേലും യെഹൂദയും ഹനാനിയും നടന്നു; എസ്രാ ശാസ്ത്രി അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നടന്നു.

37 And at the fountain gate, which was opposite them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the ascent of the wall, above the house of David, even to the water gate eastward.

൩൭അവർ ഉറവുവാതിൽ കടന്ന് നേരെ ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിന്റെ പടിക്കെട്ടിൽകൂടി ദാവീദിന്റെ അരമനക്കപ്പുറം മതിലിന്റെ കയറ്റത്തിൽ കിഴക്ക് നീർവ്വാതിൽവരെ ചെന്നു.

38 And the other company of them that gave thanks went to meet them, and I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even to the broad wall;

൩൮സ്തോത്രഗാനക്കാരുടെ രണ്ടാം സംഘം അവർക്ക് എതിരെ ചെന്നു; അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ ഞാനും ജനത്തിൽ പകുതിയും മതിലിന്മേൽ ചൂളഗോപുരത്തിന് അപ്പുറം വിശാലമതിൽവരെയും എഫ്രയീംവാതിലിനപ്പുറം

39 And from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even to the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate.

൩൯പഴയവാതിലും മീൻവാതിലും ഹനനേലിന്റെ ഗോപുരവും ഹമ്മേയാഗോപുരവും കടന്ന് ആട്ടുവാതിൽവരെയും ചെന്നു; അവർ കാരാഗൃഹവാതില്ക്കൽ നിന്നു.

40 So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me:

൪൦അങ്ങനെ സ്തോത്രഗാനക്കാരുടെ സംഘം രണ്ടും ഞാനും എന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ള പ്രമാണികളിൽ പകുതിപേരും നിന്നു.

41 And the priests; Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;

൪൧കാഹളങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ എല്യാക്കീം, മയസേയാവ്, മിന്യാമീൻ, മീഖായാവ്, എല്യോവേനായി, സെഖര്യാവ്, ഹനന്യാവ് എന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരും മയസേയാവ്,

42 And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.

൪൨ശെമയ്യാവ്, എലെയാസാർ, ഉസ്സി, യെഹോഹാനാൻ മല്ക്കീയാവ്, ഏലാം, ഏസെർ എന്നിവരും ദൈവാലയത്തിനരികെ വന്നുനിന്നു; സംഗീതക്കാർ ഉച്ചത്തിൽ പാട്ടുപാടി; യിസ്രഹ്യാവ് അവരുടെ പ്രമാണിയായിരുന്നു.

43 Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.

൪൩അവർ അന്ന് മഹായാഗങ്ങൾ അർപ്പിച്ച് സന്തോഷിച്ചു; ദൈവം അവർക്ക് മഹാസന്തോഷം നല്കിയിരുന്നു; സ്ത്രീകളും കുട്ടികളുംകൂടെ സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ട് യെരൂശലേമിലെ സന്തോഷഘോഷം ബഹുദൂരത്തോളം കേട്ടു.

44 And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited.

൪൪അന്ന് ശുശ്രൂഷിച്ചു നില്ക്കുന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും ലേവ്യരെയും കുറിച്ച് യെഹൂദാജനം സന്തോഷിച്ചതുകൊണ്ട് അവർ പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കും ലേവ്യർക്കും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താൽ നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഓഹരികളെ, പട്ടണങ്ങളോട് ചേർന്ന നിലങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് ശേഖരിച്ച് ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിനും ഉദർച്ചാർപ്പണങ്ങൾക്കും ഉള്ള അറകളിൽ സൂക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ചില പുരുഷന്മാരെ മേൽവിചാരകന്മാരായി നിയമിച്ചു.

45 And both the singers and the porters kept the charge of their God, and the charge of the purification, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.

൪൫അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷയും ശുദ്ധീകരണശുശ്രൂഷയും നടത്തി; സംഗീതക്കാരും വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരും ദാവീദിന്റെയും അവന്റെ മകനായ ശലോമോന്റെയും കല്പനപ്രകാരം ചെയ്തു.

46 For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were leaders of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving to God.

൪൬പണ്ട് ദാവീദിന്റെയും ആസാഫിന്റെയും കാലത്ത് സംഗീതക്കാർക്ക് ഒരു തലവനും, ദൈവത്തിന് സ്തുതിസ്തോത്രങ്ങൾ അർപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ഗീതങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

47 And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they sanctified holy things to the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them to the children of Aaron.

൪൭എല്ലാ യിസ്രായേലും സെരുബ്ബാബേലിന്റെയും നെഹെമ്യാവിന്റെയും കാലങ്ങളിൽ സംഗീതക്കാർക്കും വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാർക്കും ദിവസേന വിഹിതം നൽകിവന്നു. അവർ ലേവ്യർക്ക് നിവേദിതങ്ങളെ കൊടുത്തു; ലേവ്യർ അഹരോന്യർക്കും നിവേദിതങ്ങളെ കൊടുത്തു.
