Matthew 24
1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.
由聖殿裏出來前行，門徒前來把聖殿的建築指給衪看。
2 And Jesus said to them, See ye not all these things? verily I say to you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
耶穌回答他們說：「你們不是看見這一切嗎？ 我實在告訴你們：將來這裏決沒有一塊石頭，留在另一塊石頭上，而不被拆毀的。」
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? (aiōn g165)
衪在橄欖坐著的時候，門徒前來私下對衪說：「請告訴我們：什麼時候要發生這些事？ 又什麼是你來臨和時代窮盡的先兆？ (aiōn g165)
4 And Jesus answered and said to them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
耶穌回答說：「你們要謹慎，免得有人敢騙你們，
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
因為將有許多人假冒我的名字來說：我就是默西亞；他們要敢騙許多人。
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
你們要聽到戰爭和戰爭的風聲。小心，不要驚慌！因為這是必須發生的，但還不是結局，
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in various places.
因為民族要起來攻擊民族，國家要起來攻擊國家；並且到處要有饑荒、瘟溫疫和地震。
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
但是，這一切只是痛苦的開始。
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.
那時，人要交付你們去受刑，要殺害你們；你們為了我的名字，要為各民族所憎恨。
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
那時，必有許多人要跌倒，互相出賣，互相勼仇恨；
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
許多假先知要起來，敢騙誶多人；
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall become cold.
由於罪惡的增加，許多人的愛情必要冷淡。
13 But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.
唯獨堅持到底的，才可得救。
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a testimony to all nations; and then shall the end come.
天國的福音必先在全世界宣講，給萬民作證，然後結局才會來到。
15 When therefore ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoever readeth, let him understand: )
所以，幾時你們見到達尼爾先知先知所說的『招致荒涼的可憎之物』己立於聖地，─讀者應明白：
16 Then let them who are in Judaea flee to the mountains:
那時在猶太的，該逃往山中；
17 Let him who is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
在屋頂的上的，不要下來，從自己的屋裏，取什麼東西；
18 Neither let him who is in the field return back to take his clothes.
在田野裏的，也不要回來取他的外衣。
19 And woe to them that are with child, and to them that nurse infants in those days!
在那些日子內，懷孕的和哺乳的，是有禍的。
20 But pray ye that your flight may not be in the winter, neither on the sabbath:
你們當祈禱，不要叫你們的逃遁遇到冬天或安息日。
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
因為那時必有大災難，是從宇宙開始，直到如今從未有過的，將來也不會再有；
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
並且那些時日如不縮短，凡有血肉的，都不會得救；但是為了那些被選的，那些時日，必會縮短。
23 Then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
那時，若有人對你們說：看，默西亞在這裏，或說在那裏！你們不要相信，
24 For false Christs will arise, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they would deceive the very elect.
因為將有假默西亞和假先知興起，行奇蹟和異蹟，以致如果可能，連被選的人也要被敢騙。
25 Behold, I have told you before.
看，我預先告訴了你們。
26 Therefore if they shall say to you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
為此，如果有人對你們說：看，他在曠野。你們不要出來。或說：看，在內室。你們也不要相信。
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even to the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
因為如同閃電從東方發出，直照到西方，人子的來臨也要這樣。
28 For wherever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
無論在那裏有死屍，老鷹就集在那裏。
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
那時，時日的災難一過，立刻太陽就要昏暗，月亮也不發光，星辰要從天已慶工｛天已的聘逸也要動搖
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
那時，人子的記號要山現天上；地上所有的種族，都要哀號，要看見人子帶著威能和大光榮，乘著天上的雲彩降來。
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
衪要派遺衪的天使，使用發出洪聲的號角，由四方，天這邊到天那邊，聚集衪所揀選的人。
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When its branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
你們應該由無花果取個比喻：幾時它的枝條已經發嫩，葉子出生了你們就知道夏天近了。
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
同樣，你們幾時看見這一切，你們就該知道衪已近了，就在門口。
34 Verily I say to you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things shall be fulfilled.
我實在告訴你們：除非這一切發生了，這一世代決不會過去。
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
天地要過去，但是我的話，決不會過去。」
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
至於那日子和那時刻，除父一個外，誰也不知道，連天下的天使都不知道。
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
就如在諾厄的時日怎麼，人子來臨也要怎麼。
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
因為就如洪水以前的時日，人照常吃喝婚嫁，直到諾厄進入方舟的那一天，
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so also will be the coming of the Son of man.
仍然沒有覺察；直到洪水來了，把他們都捲了去；人子的來臨，也必要這樣。
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
那時，兩個人同在田間，一個被提去，一個卻被遺棄；
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
兩個女人同在磨旁推磨，一個被提去，一個卻被遺棄。
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord cometh.
所以，你們要醒寤，因為你們不知道：在那一天你們的主人要來。
43 But know this, that if the master of the house knew in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
這一點你們要明白：如果家知道，盜賊幾更天要來，他必要醒寤，不讓自己的房屋被挖穿。
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
為此，你們應該準備，因為你們不料想的時辰，人子就來了。
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?
究竟誰是那忠信聰明的僕人，主人派他管理自己的家僕，按時配給他們食糧呢？
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
主人來時，看見你們如此行事，那僕人才是有福的。
47 Verily I say to you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
我實在告訴你們：主人必要委派他管理自己的一切財產
48 But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
如果那僕人心裏說：失主人必要遲廷，
49 And shall begin to beat his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
於是他開始拷打自己的同伴，甚或同醉漢一起吃喝。
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
正在他不期待的日子，和想不到的時刻，那僕人的主人要來到，
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
剷除他，使他與假善人遭受同樣的命運；在那裏要有哀號和切齒。」
