Matthew 17
1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up upon an high mountain by themselves,
୧ଚଅ ଦିନ୍ପଚେ ଜିସୁ ପିତର୍, ଜାକୁବ୍ ଆରି ଜଅନ୍ ଦୁଇ ବାଇକେ ନେଇ ଗଟେକ୍ ଡେଙ୍ଗ୍ ଡଙ୍ଗ୍ରେ ଗାଲା । ତେଇ କେ ମିସା ନ ରଇଲାଇ ।
2 And he was transfigured before them: and his face shone as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
୨ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ଦେକ୍ଲା ଦାପ୍ରେ ଜିସୁ, ଗଟେକ୍ ଦେକ୍ଲେ କାବା ଅଇଜିବା ରୁପ୍ ଅଇ ବାଦ୍ଲି ଗାଲା । ତାର୍ ମୁ ବେଲ୍ ପାରା ଉଜଲ୍ ଅଇଲା ଆରି ପଚିଆର୍ ଉଜଲ୍ ପୁଲ୍ପାରା ଦବ୍ ଡିସ୍ଲା ।
3 And, behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah talking with him.
୩ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ମସା ଆରି ଏଲିୟ ଜିସୁର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ କାତାବାର୍ତା ଅଇବାଟା ଦେକ୍ଲାଇ ।
4 Then answered Peter, and said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.
୪ପିତର୍ ଜିସୁକେ କଇଲା, “କେଡେ ସୁକର୍ କାତା, ଆଜି ଆମେ ଇତି ଆଚୁ । ତମେ ଜଦି ମନ୍ କର୍ସା, ଇତି ମୁଇ ତିନ୍ଟା କୁଡିଆ ତିଆର୍ କର୍ବି । ତମର୍ ପାଇ ଗଟେକ୍, ମସା ଆରି ଏଲିୟର୍ ପାଇ ଦୁଇଟା ।”
5 While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
୫ପିତର୍ ଏଟା କଇବାବେଲେ ଏଦେ ଦେକା! କଣ୍ଡେକ୍ ବାଦଲ୍ ଉଜଲ୍ ଅଇ ସେମନର୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ଉଡି ଆଇଲା ଆରି ତେଇଅନି ଗଟେକ୍ ସର୍ ଆଇଲା “ଏ ମର୍ ଆଲାଦର୍ ପଅ, ଆର୍ ଲଗେ ମୁଇ ବେସି ସାର୍ଦା । ତାର୍ କାତା ମନ୍ ଦେଇ ସୁନା ।”
6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were greatly afraid.
୬ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ସେ ସର୍ ସୁନି ଏତେକ୍ ଡରି ଗାଲାଇ ଜେ ସେମନ୍ ଉମ୍ତାଡିଅଇ ଅଦ୍ରିଗାଲାଇ ।
7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
୭ଜିସୁ ସେମନର୍ ଲଗେ ଆସି ସେମନ୍କେ ଚିଇ କରି କଇଲା, “ଉଟା, ଡରା ନାଇ ।”
8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, except Jesus only.
୮ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ସେମନ୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ଦେକ୍ଲାଇଜେ ଜିସୁକେ ଚାଡି ଆରି କେ ଡିସତ୍ ନାଇ ।
9 And as they came down the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man is risen from the dead.
୯ସେମନ୍ ଡଙ୍ଗ୍ରେଅନି ଉତ୍ରି ଆଇଲା ବେଲେ ଜିସୁ ସେମନ୍କେ ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଇ କଇଲା, “ନର୍ପିଲା ମୁଇ ମଲାଟାନେଅନି ଆରିତରେକ୍ ନ ଉଟ୍ବା ଜାକ ଏ ଦେକ୍ଲା କାତା ତମେ କାକେ କୁଆ ନାଇ ।”
10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elijah must first come?
୧୦ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ତାକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ “ଆମର୍ ଦରମ୍ ଗୁରୁମନ୍ ଏଲିୟ ପର୍ତୁମ୍ ଆଇସି ବଲି କାଇକେ କଇଲାଇ ଆଚତ୍?”
11 And Jesus answered and said to them, Elijah truly shall first come, and restore all things.
୧୧ଜିସୁ କଇଲା, “ଉଁ ଏଲିୟ ପର୍ତୁମ୍ ଆସିକରି ସବୁ ବିସଇ ତିଆର୍ କରି ରଇବା କାତା ।
12 But I say to you, That Elijah is come already, and they knew him not, but have done to him whatever they desired. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer by them.
୧୨ମାତର୍ ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ କଇଲିନି, ଏଲିୟ ତା ଆସି ସାର୍ଲା ଆଚେ ଆରି ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତାକେ ନ ଚିନି ଜନ୍ଟା ମନ୍ କଲା ସେଟା ତାକେ କଲାଇ ଆଚତ୍ । ସେନ୍ତାରିସେ ନର୍ପିଲା ମକେ ମିସା ସେମନ୍ ସେନ୍ତି କାରାପ୍ ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି କର୍ବାଇ ।”
13 Then the disciples understood that he spoke to them concerning John the Baptist.
୧୩ସେଡ୍କି ବେଲେ ସେମନ୍ ବୁଜି ପାର୍ଲାଇ ଜେ, ଜିସୁ ଡୁବନ୍ ଦେଉ ଜଅନର୍ ବିସଇ କଇଲାନି ବଲି ।
14 And when they had come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,
୧୪ଜିସୁ ଆରି ତାର୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ଲକ୍ ଗଉଲି ବିତ୍ରେ ବାଉଡି ଆଇଲା ପଚେ, ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ଜିସୁର୍ ଲଗେ ଆସି ମାଣ୍ଡିକୁଟା ଦେଇ କଇଲା,
15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatic, and greatly distressed: for often he falleth into the fire, and often into the water.
୧୫“ମାପ୍ରୁ, ମର୍ ପିଲାକେ ଦୟା କରା । ମୁର୍ଚା ବେମାର୍ ଲାଗି କସ୍ଟ ପାଇଲାନି । ସେ ବେସି ତର୍ ଜଇତେଇ ଆରି ପାନିତେଇ ଅଦ୍ରି ଦେଲାନି ।
16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
୧୬ତାକେ ମୁଇ ତମର୍ ସିସ୍ମନର୍ ଲଗେ ଆନି ରଇଲି, ମାତର୍ ସେମନ୍ ନିକ କରି ନାପାର୍ଲାଇ ।”
17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I bear with you? bring him here to me.
୧୭ଜିସୁ କଇଲା, “ତମର୍ କେଡେ ଡାଟ୍ ନ ରଇବା ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ଆରି ବୁଲ୍! ତମର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆରି ମୁଇ କେତେ ଦିନ୍ ରଇବି? ଆରି କେତେ ଦିନ୍ ତମର୍ ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତିଟା ସୁନି ସୁନି ତୁମ୍ପୁଡି ରଇବି? ସେ ପିଲାକେ ମର୍ ଲଗେ ଆନା ।”
18 And Jesus rebuked the demon; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
୧୮ପିଲା ବିତ୍ରେ ରଇଲା କାରାପ୍ ଆତ୍ମାକେ ଜିସୁ ଦମ୍କାଇଲା । କାରାପ୍ ଆତ୍ମା ଚାଡି ଉଟିଗାଲା ଆରି ସେ ଦାପ୍ରେସେ ପିଲା ନିକ ଅଇଗାଲା ।
19 Then came the disciples to Jesus privately, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
୧୯ତାର୍ ପଚେ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ଜିସୁ ଏକ୍ଲା ରଇଲା ବେଲେ ଆସି ତାକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ଆମେ କାଇକେ ସେ କାରାପ୍ ଆତ୍ମାକେ କେଦି ନାପାର୍ଲୁ?”
20 And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say to you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place; and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you.
୨୦ଜିସୁ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ତମର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ବେସି ଦୁର୍ବଲ୍ । ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ ସତ୍ କଇଲିନି, ଜଦି ଗଟେକ୍ ସର୍ସୁ ମୁଞ୍ଜି ଏତ୍କି ତମର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ରଇଲେ, ଏ ଡଙ୍ଗର୍, ଇତିଅନି ତେଇ ଗୁଚି ଜିବାକେ କଇଲେ, ସେଟା ଗୁଚି ଜାଇସି । ବିସ୍ବାସର୍ ଲାଗି ତମେ ସବୁ ବିସଇ କରିପାରାସ୍ ।”
21 However this kind goeth not out except by prayer and fasting.
୨୧ମାତର୍ ଉପାସ୍ ରଇକରି ପାର୍ତନା ନ କଲେ, କାଇ ବିନ୍ ଉପାଇ ନେଇ ମିସା ଏନ୍ତାରି ଡୁମା ବାରଇ ନ ଜାଏ ।
22 And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:
୨୨ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ଗାଲିଲିତେଇ ରୁଣ୍ଡ୍ଲା ପଚେ ଜିସୁ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ନର୍ପିଲା ମୁଇ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ସର୍ପି ଅଇବାର୍ ଗାଲିନି ।
23 And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceedingly sorrowful.
୨୩ତେଇ ସେମନ୍ ମକେ ମରାଇବାଇ, ମାତର୍ ତିନ୍ ଦିନ୍ ପଚେ ମୁଇ ଆରି ତରେକ୍ ଜିବନ୍ ଅଇ ଉଟ୍ବି ।” ଜିସୁର୍ କାତା ସୁନି ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ବେସି ଦୁକ୍ ଅଇଗାଲାଇ ।
24 And when they had come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
୨୪ଜିସୁ ଆରି ତାର୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ କପର୍ନାଉମେ କେଟ୍ଲା ପଚେ ମନ୍ଦିର୍ ପାଇ ସିସ୍ତୁମାଙ୍ଗୁମନ୍ ପିତର୍କେ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ତମର୍ ଗୁରୁ ମନ୍ଦିରର୍ ପାଇ ସିସ୍ତୁ ଦେଇସି କି ନାଇ?”
25 He saith, Yes. And when he had come into the house, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? from whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? from their own children, or from strangers?
୨୫ପିତର୍ କଇଲା, “ଦେଇସି ।” ପିତର୍ ଗର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ପୁରୁପୁରୁ ଜିସୁ ତାକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲା, “ସିମନ୍, ତମେ କାଇଟା ବାବ୍ଲାସ୍ନି? ଏ ଜଗତର୍ ରାଜାମନ୍ କାର୍ଟାନେଅନି ସିସ୍ତୁ ନେବାଇ? ତାକର୍ ନିଜର୍ ଦେସର୍ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ଟାନେଅନି କି ବିନ୍ ଦେସର୍ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ଟାନେଅନି?”
26 Peter saith to him, From strangers. Jesus saith to him, Then are the children free.
୨୬ପିତର୍ କଇଲା, “ବିନ୍ ଦେସର୍ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ତେଇଅନି ।” ଜିସୁ କଇଲା, “ସେନ୍ତି ବଇଲେ ରାଇଜର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ସିସ୍ତୁ ନ ଦେଅତ୍?
27 However, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: take that, and give to them for me and thee.
୨୭ମାତର୍ ଆମେ ଏବେ ସେମନ୍କେ ଇନ୍ କର୍ବାକେ ମନ୍ କରୁ ନାଇ । ତୁଇ ଗାଡେ ଜାଇ ବଡ୍ସି ପାକାଆ ଆରି ଜନ୍ ମାଚ୍ ପର୍ତୁମ୍ ଲାଗ୍ସି, ତାର୍ ଟଣ୍ଡେଅନି ଗଟେକ୍ ଅଦ୍ଲି ମିଲାଇସୁ । ସେଟା ନେଇ ମର୍ ପାଇ ଆରି ତମର୍ ପାଇ ମନ୍ଦିରର୍ ସିସ୍ତୁମାଙ୍ଗୁମନ୍କେ ଦେଇଦେସ୍ ।”
