< Matthew 14 >

1 At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus,
U qaƣlarda, Ⱨerod ⱨakim Əysaning nam-xɵⱨritidin hǝwǝr tepip,
2 And said to his servants, This is John the Baptist; he hath risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do show forth themselves in him.
hizmǝtkarlirigǝ: — Bu adǝm qɵmüldürgüqi Yǝⱨya bolidu, u ɵlümdin tirilgǝn bolsa kerǝk. Xuning üqün muxu alaⱨidǝ ⱪudrǝtlǝr uningda küqini kɵrsǝtmǝktǝ, — dedi.
3 For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife.
Ⱨerodning bundaⱪ deyixining sǝwǝbi, u [ɵgǝy] akisi Filipning ayali Ⱨerodiyǝning wǝjidin Yǝⱨyani tutⱪun ⱪilip, zindanƣa taxliƣanidi.
4 For John had said to him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.
Qünki Yǝⱨya Ⱨerodⱪa [tǝnbiⱨ berip]: «Bu ayalni tartiwelixing Tǝwrat ⱪanuniƣa hilaptur» dǝp kǝlgǝnidi.
5 And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.
Ⱨerod [xu sǝwǝbtin] Yǝⱨyani ɵltürmǝkqi bolƣan bolsimu, biraⱪ halayiⱪtin ⱪorⱪⱪanidi, qünki ular Yǝⱨyani pǝyƣǝmbǝr, dǝp bilǝtti.
6 But when Herod’s birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.
Əmma Ⱨerodning tuƣulƣan küni tǝbriklǝngǝndǝ, ayali Ⱨerodiyǝning ⱪizi otturiƣa qiⱪip ussul oynap bǝrdi. Bu Ⱨerodⱪa bǝk yaⱪti;
7 Therefore he promised with an oath to give her whatever she would ask.
xuning üqün u uningƣa: — Ⱨǝrnemǝ tilisǝng xuni sanga berǝy, dǝp ⱪǝsǝm ⱪildi.
8 And she, being before instructed by her mother, said, Give me here the head of John the Baptist on a platter.
Lekin ⱪiz anisining küxkürtüxi bilǝn: — Qɵmüldürgüqi Yǝⱨyaning kallisini elip, bir tǝhsigǝ ⱪoyup ǝkǝlsilǝ, — dedi.
9 And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the sake of the oath and them who sat eating with him, he commanded it to be given her.
Padixaⱨ buningƣa ⱨǝsrǝt qǝkkǝn bolsimu, ⱪǝsǝmliri tüpǝylidin wǝ dastihanda olturƣanlar wǝjidin, [kallisini] elip kelinglar, dǝp buyrudi.
10 And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.
U adǝm ǝwǝtip, zindanda Yǝⱨyaning kallisini aldurdi.
11 And his head was brought on a platter, and given to the girl: and she brought it to her mother.
Xuning bilǝn kallisi bir tǝhsigǝ ⱪoyulup, ⱪizning aldiƣa elip kelindi. Ⱪiz buni anisining aldiƣa apardi.
12 And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.
[Yǝⱨyaning] muhlisliri bolsa berip, jǝsǝtni elip dǝpnǝ ⱪildi; andin berip Əysaƣa bu ixlarni hǝwǝr ⱪildi.
13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed from there in a boat into a desert place by himself: and when the people had heard of it, they followed him on foot out of the cities.
14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
U [ ⱪirƣaⱪⱪa] qiⱪip kǝtkinidǝ, zor bir top adǝmlǝrni kɵrüwidi, ularƣa iq aƣritip, ularning aƣriⱪlirini saⱪaytti.
15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now late; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves food.
Kǝq kirgǝndǝ, muhlisliri uning yeniƣa kelip: — Bu qɵl bir jay ikǝn, waⱪitmu bir yǝrgǝ berip ⱪaldi. Halayiⱪni yolƣa seliwǝtkǝn bolsang, andin ular kǝntlǝrgǝ berip ɵzlirigǝ ozuⱪ setiwalsun, — dedi.
16 But Jesus said to them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.
Lekin Əysa ularƣa: — Ularning ketixining ⱨajiti yoⱪ, ɵzünglar ularƣa ozuⱪ beringlar, — dedi.
17 And they say to him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
Lekin muhlislar: — Bizdǝ bǝx nan bilǝn ikki danǝ beliⱪtin baxⱪa ⱨeq nǝrsǝ yoⱪ, — deyixti.
18 He said, Bring them here to me.
U: — Ularni manga elip kelinglar, dedi.
19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and broke, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
U halayiⱪni qɵplükning üstidǝ olturuxⱪa buyruƣandin keyin, bǝx nan bilǝn ikki beliⱪni ⱪoliƣa elip, asmanƣa ⱪarap [Hudaƣa] tǝxǝkkür eytti. Andin nanlarni oxtup muhlisliriƣa bǝrdi, muhlisliri halayiⱪⱪa ülǝxtürüp bǝrdi.
20 And they all ate, and were satisfied: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
Ⱨǝmmǝylǝn yǝp toyundi. [Muhlislar] exip ⱪalƣan parqilarni liⱪ on ikki sewǝtkǝ teriwaldi.
21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
Ozuⱪlanƣanlarning sani ayallar wǝ balilardin baxⱪa tǝhminǝn bǝx ming kixi idi.
22 And immediately Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a boat, and to go before him to the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.
Arⱪidila, u muhlisliriƣa: Ɵzüm bu halayiⱪni yolƣa seliwetimǝn, angƣuqǝ silǝr kemigǝ olturup, dengizning ⱪarxi ⱪirƣiⱪiƣa ɵtüp turunglar, dǝp buyrudi.
23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up to a mountain by himself to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
Halayiⱪni yolƣa seliwǝtkǝndin keyin, u dua ⱪilix üqün ɵzi hilwǝt taƣⱪa qiⱪti. Kǝq kirgǝndimu u yǝrdǝ yalƣuz ⱪaldi.
24 But the boat was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
Bu qaƣda, kemǝ ⱪirƣaⱪtin heli kɵp qaⱪirim yürgǝnidi, lekin xamal ⱪarxi yɵnlixitin qiⱪiwatⱪaqⱪa, kemǝ dolⱪunlar iqidǝ qayⱪilip turatti.
25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.
Keqǝ tɵtinqǝ jesǝk waⱪtida, u dengizning üstidǝ mengip, muhlisliri tǝrǝpkǝ kǝldi.
26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a ghost; and they cried out for fear.
Muhlislar uning dengizning üstidǝ mengip keliwatⱪanliⱪini kɵrüp, alaⱪzadǝ bolup: — Alwasti ikǝn! — dǝp ⱪorⱪup quⱪan selixti.
27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
Lekin Əysa dǝrⱨal ularƣa: — Yürǝklik bolunglar, bu mǝn, ⱪorⱪmanglar! — dedi.
28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it is thou, bid me come to thee on the water.
Petrus buningƣa jawabǝn: — I Rǝb, bu sǝn bolsang, su üstidǝ mengip yeningƣa beriximƣa ǝmr ⱪilƣaysǝn, — dedi.
29 And he said, Come. And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
Kǝl, — dedi u. Petrus kemidin qüxüp, su üstidǝ mengip, Əysaƣa ⱪarap ketiwatatti;
30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
lekin boranning ⱪattiⱪ qiⱪiwatⱪanliⱪini kɵrüp ⱪorⱪup, suƣa qɵküxkǝ baxlidi: — Rǝb, meni ⱪutⱪuzuwalƣaysǝn! — dǝp warⱪiridi.
31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said to him, O thou of little faith, why didst thou doubt?
Əysa dǝrⱨal ⱪolini uzitip, uni tutuwaldi wǝ uningƣa: — Əy ixǝnqi ajiz bǝndǝ, nemixⱪa guman ⱪilding? — dedi.
32 And when they had come into the boat, the wind ceased.
Ular kemigǝ qiⱪⱪanda, xamal tohtidi.
33 Then they that were in the boat came and worshipped him, saying, In truth thou art the Son of God.
Kemidǝ olturƣanlar uning aldiƣa kelip sǝjdǝ ⱪilip: — Bǝrⱨǝⱪ, sǝn Hudaning Oƣli ikǝnsǝn, — deyixti.
34 And when they had gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.
Ular dengizning ⱪarxi tǝripigǝ ɵtkǝndǝ, Ginnisarǝt yurtida [ⱪuruⱪluⱪⱪa] qiⱪti.
35 And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all the surrounding country, and brought to him all that were diseased;
U yǝrdiki adǝmlǝr uni tonup ⱪelip, ǝtraptiki barliⱪ jaylarƣa hǝwǝr ǝwǝtti; xuning bilǝn kixilǝr barliⱪ bimarlarni uning aldiƣa elip kǝldi;
36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly well.
ular uningdin bimarlarning ⱨeqbolmiƣanda uning tonining pexigǝ bolsimu ⱪolini tǝgküzüwelixiƣa yol ⱪoyuxini ɵtündi. Uningƣa ⱪolini tǝgküzgǝnlǝrning ⱨǝmmisi sǝllimaza saⱪaydi.
