< Mark 15 >

1 And immediately in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.
Mulugulu katondo abhakulu bhamakuhani bhabhonene amwi nabhakaluka nabhandiki nalibhalaja lyone lya bhakaluka. Niwo nibhamubhoya Yesu nibhamusila ewa Pilato. Pilato namubhusha, “awe ulimkama wabhayahudi?”
2 And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said to him, Thou sayest it.
“Naika, “Awe waika kutyo.”
3 And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.
Abhakulu bha makuhani nibhelesha obhubhambasi bhwanfu ku Yesu.
4 And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they testify against thee.
Pilato namubhusha bhuyaya, “Utakwaika chonachona? Utakulola kutyo abhakubhambalila ku misango myanfu?
5 But Jesus yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marvelled.
Nawe Yesu atamusubhishe Pilato, nalugula muno.
6 Now at that feast he released to them one prisoner, whom they desired.
Kulwakutyo mu mwanya gwaisikukuu abhegulilaga omubhoywa umwi, bhasabhile omubhoywa umwi.

9 But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release to you the King of the Jews?
Pilato nabhabhwila naika, “Omwenda nibhegulile Omukama wabhayaudi?”
10 For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy.
Kulwokubha amenyele bhalina olwiso abhakulu bhamakuhani bhamugwatile Yesu nibhamuleta kwaye.
11 But the chief priests stirred up the people, that he should rather release Barabbas to them.
Nawe abhakulu bha makuhani bhabhwiliye abhanu bhayogane kwo bhulaka ati bhamwigulile Baraba nawe omwene uli.
12 And Pilate answered and said again to them, What will ye then that I shall do to him whom ye call the King of the Jews?
Pilato nabhabhwila bhuyaya naika, “Nikolechiya Mkama wa Bhayahudi?
13 And they cried out again, Crucify him.
Nibhayogana bhuyaya, “Mumubhambe”
14 Then Pilate said to them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.
Pilato naika, “Akola musangoki mubhibhi? Niwo bhagendeleye okuyogana muno “Mumubhambe.”
15 And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas to them, and having scourged Jesus, delivered him to be crucified.
