Leviticus 13
1 And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
൧യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത് എന്തെന്നാൽ:
2 When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a swelling, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest, or to one of his sons the priests:
൨“ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ തിണർപ്പോ ചുണങ്ങോ വെളുത്ത പുള്ളിയോ ഇങ്ങനെ കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ വടു കണ്ടാൽ അവനെ പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ അടുക്കലോ പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ ഒരുവന്റെ അടുക്കലോ കൊണ്ടുവരണം.
3 And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight is deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.
൩പുരോഹിതൻ ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ ഉള്ള വടു പരിശോധിക്കണം; വടുവിനകത്തുള്ള രോമം വെളുത്തതും വടു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞതും ആയി കണ്ടാൽ അത് കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം; പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ പരിശോധിച്ച് അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കണം.
4 If the bright spot is white in the skin of his flesh, and in sight not deeper than the skin, and the hair of it not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:
൪അവന്റെ ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ ഉള്ള പുള്ളി വെളുത്തതും ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാത്തതും അതിനകത്തുള്ള രോമം വെളുത്തിരിക്കാത്തതും ആയി കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ ആ ലക്ഷണമുള്ളവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്ക് അകത്താക്കി അടയ്ക്കേണം.
5 And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight is at a stay, and the plague spreadeth not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:
൫ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ പരിശോധിക്കണം. വടു ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ പരക്കാതെ, കണ്ട സ്ഥിതിയിൽ നില്ക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ പുരോഹിതൻ രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം അവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്ക് അകത്താക്കി അടയ്ക്കേണം.
6 And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague is somewhat dark, and the plague spreadeth not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
൬ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ വീണ്ടും പരിശോധിക്കണം; വടു മങ്ങിയതായും ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ പരക്കാതെയും കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ എന്നു വിധിക്കണം; അത് ചുണങ്ങത്രേ. അവൻ വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനായിരിക്കണം.
7 But if the scab shall spread much in the skin, after he hath been seen by the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen by the priest again:
൭അവൻ ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിനായി തന്നെത്താൻ പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിച്ചശേഷം ചുണങ്ങ് ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ അധികമായി പരന്നാൽ അവൻ പിന്നെയും സ്വയം പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിക്കണം.
8 And if the priest shall see that, behold, the scab spreadeth in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a leprosy.
൮ചുണങ്ങു ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ പരക്കുന്നു എന്നു പുരോഹിതൻ കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കണം; അത് കുഷ്ഠം തന്നെ.
9 When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought to the priest;
൯“കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ ലക്ഷണം ഒരു മനുഷ്യനിൽ ഉണ്ടായാൽ അവനെ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരണം.
10 And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the swelling is white in the skin, and it hath turned the hair white, and there is living raw flesh in the swelling;
൧൦പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ പരിശോധിക്കണം; ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ വെളുത്ത തിണർപ്പുണ്ടായിരിക്കുകയും അതിലെ രോമം വെളുത്തിരിക്കുകയും തിണർപ്പിൽ പച്ചമാംസത്തിന്റെ ലക്ഷണം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്താൽ
11 It is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.
൧൧അത് അവന്റെ ത്വക്കിൽ പഴകിയ കുഷ്ഠം ആകുന്നു; പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ അശുദ്ധൻ എന്നു വിധിക്കണം; അവൻ അശുദ്ധനായതുകൊണ്ട് അവനെ അകത്താക്കി അടക്കരുത്.
12 And if a leprosy shall break out in the skin, and the leprosy shall cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot, wherever the priest looketh;
൧൨കുഷ്ഠം ത്വക്കിൽ അധികമായി പരന്നു രോഗിയുടെ തലതൊട്ടു കാൽവരെ പുരോഹിതൻ കാണുന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും വടു ത്വക്കിൽ ആസകലം മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ പുരോഹിതൻ പരിശോധിക്കണം;
13 Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy hath covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.
൧൩കുഷ്ഠം അവന്റെ ദേഹത്തെ മുഴുവനും മൂടിയിരുന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ വടുവുള്ളവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കണം; ആസകലം വെള്ളയായി തീർന്നു; അവൻ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ ആകുന്നു.
14 But when raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.
൧൪എന്നാൽ പച്ചമാംസം അവനിൽ കണ്ടാൽ അവൻ അശുദ്ധൻ.
15 And the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce him to be unclean: for the raw flesh is unclean: it is a leprosy.
൧൫പുരോഹിതൻ പച്ചമാംസം പരിശോധിച്ച് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കണം. പച്ചമാംസം അശുദ്ധം; അത് കുഷ്ഠം തന്നെ.
16 Or if the raw flesh shall turn again, and be changed into white, he shall come to the priest;
൧൬എന്നാൽ പച്ചമാംസം മാറി വീണ്ടും വെള്ളയായി തീർന്നാൽ അവൻ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരണം.
17 And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the plague is turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.
൧൭പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ പരിശോധിക്കണം; വടു വെള്ളയായി തീർന്നു എങ്കിൽ പുരോഹിതൻ വടുവുള്ളവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കണം; അവൻ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ തന്നെ.
18 The flesh also, in which, even in the skin of it, was a boil, and is healed,
൧൮“ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കിൽ പരുവുണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ട്
19 And in the place of the boil there shall be a white swelling, or a bright spot, white, and somewhat reddish, and it be showed to the priest;
൧൯സൗഖ്യമായശേഷം പരുവിന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തു വെളുത്ത തിണർപ്പോ ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടിയ വെളുത്ത പുള്ളിയോ ഉണ്ടായാൽ അത് പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിക്കണം.
20 And if, when the priest seeth it, behold, it is in sight lower than the skin, and the hair of it is turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.
൨൦പുരോഹിതൻ അത് നോക്കണം; അത് ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞതും അതിലെ രോമം വെളുത്തതുമായി കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കണം; അത് പരുവിൽനിന്നുണ്ടായ കുഷ്ഠരോഗം.
21 But if the priest shall look on it, and, behold, there are no white hairs in it, and if it is not lower than the skin, but somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
൨൧എന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അത് പരിശോധിച്ച് അതിൽ വെളുത്തരോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും അത് ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും നിറം മങ്ങിയും കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്ക് അകത്താക്കി അടയ്ക്കണം.
22 And if it hath spread much in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.
൨൨അത് ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ അധികം പരന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കണം; അത് കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം തന്നെ.
23 But if the bright spot shall stay in its place, and not spread, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
൨൩എന്നാൽ വെളുത്ത പുള്ളി പരക്കാതെ, കണ്ട നിലയിൽത്തന്നെ നിന്നു എങ്കിൽ അത് പരുവിന്റെ വടു അത്രേ. പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കണം.
24 Or if there is any flesh, in the skin of which there is a hot burning, and the live flesh that burneth hath a white bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white;
൨൪“അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കിൽ തീപ്പൊള്ളൽ ഉണ്ടായി പൊള്ളലിന്റെ വടു ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടി വെളുത്തോ വെളുത്തു തന്നെയോ ഇരിക്കുന്ന പുള്ളിയായിത്തീർന്നാൽ
25 Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot is turned white, and it is in sight deeper than the skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: therefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
൨൫പുരോഹിതൻ അത് പരിശോധിക്കണം; പുള്ളിയിലെ രോമം വെള്ളയായി തീർന്നു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞുകണ്ടാൽ പൊള്ളലിൽ ഉണ്ടായ കുഷ്ഠം; ആകയാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കണം; അത് കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം തന്നെ.
26 But if the priest shall look on it, and, behold, there is no white hair in the bright spot, and it is no lower than the other skin, but is somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
൨൬എന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അത് പരിശോധിച്ചിട്ട് പുള്ളിയിൽ വെളുത്തരോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും അത് ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും നിറം മങ്ങിയും കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്ക് അകത്താക്കി അടയ്ക്കണം.
27 And the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: and if it is spread much in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
൨൭ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ പരിശോധിക്കണം: അത് ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ പരന്നിരുന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കണം; അത് കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം തന്നെ.
28 And if the bright spot shall stay in its place, and not spread in the skin, but be somewhat dark; it is a swelling of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammation of the burning.
൨൮എന്നാൽ പുള്ളി ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ പരക്കാതെ, കണ്ട നിലയിൽ തന്നെ നില്‍ക്കുകയും നിറം മങ്ങിയിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്താൽ അത് തീപ്പൊള്ളലിന്റെ തിണർപ്പ് ആകുന്നു; പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കണം; അത് തീപ്പൊള്ളലിന്റെ തിണർപ്പാകുന്നു.
29 If a man or woman shall have a plague upon the head or the beard;
൨൯“ഒരു പുരുഷനെങ്കിലും ഒരു സ്ത്രീക്കെങ്കിലും തലയിലോ താടിയിലോ ഒരു വടു ഉണ്ടായാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ വടു പരിശോധിക്കണം.
30 Then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it is in sight deeper than the skin; and there is in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall, even a leprosy upon the head or beard.
൩൦അത് ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞും അതിൽ പൊൻനിറമായ നേർമ്മയുള്ള രോമം ഉള്ളതായും കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കണം; അത് പുറ്റാകുന്നു; തലയിലോ താടിയിലോ ഉള്ള കുഷ്ഠം തന്നെ.
31 And if the priest shall look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, it is not in sight deeper than the skin, and no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days:
൩൧പുരോഹിതൻ പുറ്റിന്റെ വടുവ് പരിശോധിക്കുമ്പോൾ അത് ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും അതിൽ കറുത്ത രോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും കണ്ടാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ പുറ്റുവടുവുള്ളവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്ക് അകത്താക്കി അടയ്ക്കേണം.
32 And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scall spreadeth not, and there is in it no yellow hair, and the scall is not in sight deeper than the skin;
൩൨ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതൻ വടുവ് പരിശോധിക്കണം; പുറ്റു പരക്കാതെയും അതിൽ പൊൻനിറമുള്ള രോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും പുറ്റ് ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാൽ അവൻ ക്ഷൗരം ചെയ്യിക്കണം;
33 He shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more:
൩൩എന്നാൽ പുറ്റിൽ ക്ഷൗരം ചെയ്യരുത്; പുരോഹിതൻ പുറ്റുള്ളവനെ പിന്നെയും ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്ക് അകത്താക്കി അടയ്ക്കേണം.
34 And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and, behold, if the scall is not spread in the skin, nor is in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
൩൪ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതൻ പുറ്റു പരിശോധിക്കണം; പുറ്റു ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ പരക്കാതെയും കാഴ്ചക്ക് ത്വക്കിനെക്കാൾ കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കണം; അവൻ വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനായിരിക്കണം.
35 But if the scall shall spread much in the skin after his cleansing;
൩൫എന്നാൽ അവന്റെ ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്റെ ശേഷം പുറ്റു ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ പരന്നാൽ
36 Then the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the scall is spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean.
൩൬പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ പരിശോധിക്കണം; പുറ്റു ത്വക്കിന്മേൽ വ്യാപിച്ചാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ പൊൻനിറമുള്ള രോമം അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടാ; അവൻ അശുദ്ധൻ തന്നെ.
37 But if the scall shall be in his sight at a stay, and there is black hair grown in it; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
൩൭എന്നാൽ പുറ്റു കണ്ട നിലയിൽ തന്നെ നില്‍ക്കുന്നതായും അതിൽ കറുത്ത രോമം മുളച്ചതായും കണ്ടാൽ പുറ്റു സൗഖ്യമായി; അവൻ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ; പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കണം.
38 If a man also or a woman shall have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;
൩൮“ഒരു പുരുഷനോ സ്ത്രീക്കോ ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കിൽ വെളുത്ത പുള്ളി ഉണ്ടായാൽ
39 Then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh are darkish white; it is a freckled spot that groweth in the skin; he is clean.
൩൯പുരോഹിതൻ പരിശോധിക്കണം; ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കിൽ മങ്ങിയ വെള്ളപ്പുള്ളി ഉണ്ടായാൽ അത് ത്വക്കിൽ ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന ചുണങ്ങ്; അവൻ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ.
40 And the man whose hair hath fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.
൪൦“തലമുടി കൊഴിഞ്ഞവനോ കഷണ്ടിക്കാരനത്രേ; അവൻ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ.
41 And he that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.
൪൧തലയിൽ മുൻവശത്തെ രോമം കൊഴിഞ്ഞവൻ മുൻകഷണ്ടിക്കാരൻ; അവൻ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവൻ.
42 And if there is in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up on his bald head, or his bald forehead.
൪൨പിൻകഷണ്ടിയിലോ മുൻകഷണ്ടിയിലോ ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടിയ വെള്ളപ്പുള്ളിയുണ്ടായാൽ അത് അവന്റെ പിൻകഷണ്ടിയിലോ മുൻകഷണ്ടിയിലോ ഉത്ഭവിക്കുന്ന കുഷ്ഠം.
43 Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the swelling of the sore is white reddish on his bald head, or on his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;
൪൩പുരോഹിതൻ അത് പരിശോധിക്കണം; അവന്റെ പിൻകഷണ്ടിയിലോ മുൻകഷണ്ടിയിലോ ത്വക്കിൽ കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപോലെ വടുവിന്റെ തിണർപ്പ് ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടി വെളുത്തതായിരുന്നാൽ അവൻ കുഷ്ഠരോഗി;
44 He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.
൪൪അവൻ അശുദ്ധൻ തന്നെ; പുരോഹിതൻ അവനെ അശുദ്ധൻ എന്നു തീർത്തു വിധിക്കണം; അവന് തലയിൽ കുഷ്ഠരോഗം ഉണ്ട്.
45 And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be torn, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.
൪൫“വടുവുള്ള കുഷ്ഠരോഗിയുടെ വസ്ത്രം കീറിക്കളയണം: അവന്റെ തല മൂടാതിരിക്കണം; അവൻ അധരം മൂടിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കയും അശുദ്ധൻ അശുദ്ധൻ എന്നു വിളിച്ചുപറയുകയും വേണം.
46 All the days in which the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; outside the camp shall his habitation be.
൪൬അവന് രോഗം ഉള്ള നാൾ ഒക്കെയും അവൻ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കണം; അവൻ അശുദ്ധൻ തന്നെ; അവൻ എകനായി താമസിക്കണം; അവന്റെ താമസം പാളയത്തിനു പുറത്തായിരിക്കണം.
47 The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether a woollen garment, or a linen garment;
൪൭“ആട്ടുരോമവസ്ത്രമോ ചണവസ്ത്രമോ ആയ ഏതു വസ്ത്രത്തിലെങ്കിലും
48 Whether in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;
൪൮ചണംകൊണ്ടോ ആട്ടുരോമംകൊണ്ടോ ഉള്ള പാവിൽ എങ്കിലും ഊടയിലെങ്കിലും തോലിലെങ്കിലും തോൽകൊണ്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിൽ എങ്കിലും
49 And if the plague is greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be shown to the priest:
൪൯കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ വടുവായി വസ്ത്രത്തിൽ എങ്കിലും തോലിലെങ്കിലും പാവിലെങ്കിലും ഊടയിലെങ്കിലും തോൽകൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിലെങ്കിലും വടു ഇളം പച്ചയോ ഇളം ചുവപ്പോ ആയിരുന്നാൽ അത് കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം ആകുന്നു; അത് പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിക്കണം.
50 And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up that which hath the plague seven days:
൫൦പുരോഹിതൻ വടു പരിശോധിച്ച് വടുവുള്ളതിനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്ക് അകത്തിട്ട് അടയ്ക്കണം.
51 And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague is spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is an active leprosy; it is unclean.
൫൧അവൻ ഏഴാം ദിവസം വടു പരിശോധിക്കണം; വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ പാവിലോ ഊടയിലോ തോലിലോ തോൽകൊണ്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യാതൊരു വസ്തുവിലോ വടു വ്യാപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ആ വടു കഠിന കുഷ്ഠം; അത് അശുദ്ധമാകുന്നു.
52 He shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woollen or in linen, or any thing of skin, in which the plague is: for it is an active leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.
൫൨വടുവുള്ള സാധനം ആട്ടിൻരോമംകൊണ്ടോ ചണംകൊണ്ടോ ഉള്ള വസ്ത്രമോ പാവോ ഊടയോ തോൽകൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊന്നെങ്കിലുമോ ആയിരുന്നാലും അത് ചുട്ടുകളയണം; അത് കഠിന കുഷ്ഠം; അത് തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയണം.
53 And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague is not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;
൫൩എന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ അത് പരിശോധിക്കുമ്പോൾ വടു വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ പാവിലോ ഊടയിലോ തോൽകൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിലോ പരന്നിട്ടില്ല എങ്കിൽ
54 Then the priest shall command that they wash the thing in which the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:
൫൪പുരോഹിതൻ വടുവുള്ള സാധനം കഴുകുവാൻ കല്പിക്കണം; അത് പിന്നെയും ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്ക് അകത്തിട്ട് അടയ്ക്കണം.
55 And the priest shall look on the plague, after it is washed: and, behold, if the plague hath not changed its colour, and the plague hath not spread; it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire; it eateth away inward, whether it is bare within or without.
൫൫കഴുകിയശേഷം പുരോഹിതൻ വടു പരിശോധിക്കണം: വടു നിറം മാറാതെയും പരക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാൽ അത് അശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു; അത് തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയണം; അത് അതിന്റെ അകത്തോ പുറത്തോ തിന്നെടുക്കുന്ന വ്രണം.
56 And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague is somewhat dark after the washing of it; then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:
൫൬പിന്നെ പുരോഹിതൻ പരിശോധിക്കണം; കഴുകിയശേഷം വടുവിന്റെ നിറം മങ്ങി എങ്കിൽ അവൻ അതിനെ വസ്ത്രത്തിൽനിന്നോ തോലിൽനിന്നോ പാവിൽനിന്നോ ഊടയിൽനിന്നോ കീറിക്കളയണം.
57 And if it shall appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a spreading plague: thou shalt burn that in which the plague is with fire.
൫൭അത് വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ പാവിലോ ഊടയിലോ തോൽകൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിലോ കാണുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അത് പടരുന്നതാകുന്നു; വടുവുള്ളതു തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയണം.
58 And the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatever thing of skin it is, which thou shalt wash, if the plague hath departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.
൫൮എന്നാൽ വസ്ത്രമോ പാവോ ഊടയോ തോൽകൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനമോ കഴുകിയശേഷം വടു അവയിൽ നിന്നു നീങ്ങിപ്പോയി എങ്കിൽ അത് രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം കഴുകണം; അപ്പോൾ അത് ശുദ്ധമാകും.
59 This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp, or woof, or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
൫൯ആട്ടുരോമമോ ചണമോ കൊണ്ടുള്ള വസ്ത്രത്തിൽ എങ്കിലും പാവിൽ എങ്കിലും ഊടയിൽ എങ്കിലും തോൽകൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊന്നിലെങ്കിലും ഉള്ള കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ വടുവിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അത് ശുദ്ധമെന്നോ അശുദ്ധമെന്നോ വിധിക്കുവാനുള്ള പ്രമാണം ഇതുതന്നെ”.
