Judges 17
1 And there was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name was Micah.
Ug may usa ka tawo sa kabungtoran sa Ephraim, nga ginganlan si Michas.
2 And he said to his mother, The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou didst curse, and spoke of also in my ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my son.
Ug siya miingon sa iyang inahan: Ang napulo ug usa ka gatus ka book nga salapi nga gikuha gikan kanimo, nga mahitungod niana ikaw namulong ug usa ka tunglo, ug misulti usab ikaw niana sa akong mga igdulungog: Ania karon, ang salapi ania kanako, gikuha ko kini. Ug ang iyang inahan miingon: Bulahanon unta ni Jehova ang akong anak.
3 And when he had restored the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated the silver to the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it to thee.
Ug iyang giuli ang napulo ug usa ka gatus ka book nga salapi sa iyang inahan; ug ang iyang inahan miingon: Ako sa pagkatinuod nagahalad sa salapi kang Jehova gikan sa akong kamot alang sa akong anak, aron buhaton nga larawan nga linilok ug larawan nga tinunaw; busa karon akong iuli kini kanimo.
4 Yet he restored the money to his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the silversmith, who made of it a graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.
Ug sa diha nga siya nag-uli sa salapi sa iyang inahan, ang iyang inahan mikuha ug duha ka gatus ka book nga salapi, ug gihatag sa maghuhulma nga nagbuhat gikan niini ug kinulit nga larawan ug hinulma nga larawan: ug kini didto sa balay ni Michas.
5 And the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.

6 In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

7 And there was a young man out of Bethlehemjudah of the family of Judah, who was a Levite, and he sojourned there.
Ug may usa ka batan-on gikan sa Beth-lehem sa Juda, sa banay ni Juda, nga usa ka Levihanon; ug siya mipuyo didto.
8 And the man departed out of the city from Bethlehemjudah to sojourn where he could find a place: and he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.
Ug ang tawo mipahawa gikan sa ciudad gawas sa Beth-lehem sa Juda, aron sa pagpahaluna kong diin siya makakaplag ug dapit: ug nahiadto siya sa kabungtoran sa Ephraim sa balay ni Michas, sa iyang pagpanaw.
9 And Micah said to him, Where do you come from? And he said to him, I am a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place.
Ug si Michas miingon kaniya: Diin ikaw gikan? Ug siya miingon kaniya: Ako usa ka Levihanon sa Beth-lehem sa Juda, ug ako moadto sa pagpuyo diin ako makakaplag ug usa ka dapit.
10 And Micah said to him, Dwell with me, and be to me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten shekels of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy sustenance. So the Levite went in.
Ug si Michas miingon kaniya: Pumuyo ka kanako, ug mahimo ka nga usa ka amahan kanako, ug usa ka sacerdote, ug hatagan ko ikaw ug napulo ka book nga salapi sa matag-tuig, ug usa ka ilisan nga saput ug imong mga makaon. Busa ang Levihanon misulod.
11 And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was to him as one of his sons.
Ug ang Levihanon nahamuot sa pagpuyo uban sa tawo; ug ang batan-ong lalake giila niya ingon sa usa sa iyang mga anak nga lalake.
12 And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
Ug gigahin ni Michas alang sa Dios ang Levihanon ug ang batan-on nahimo nga iyang sacerdote, ug didto siya sa balay ni Michas.
13 Then said Micah, Now I know that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite for my priest.
Unya miingon si Michas: Karon nahibalo ako nga si Jehova mobuhat kanako sa maayo, samtang nga ako adunay usa ka Levihanon nga akong sacerdote.
