Judges 15
1 But it came to pass after a while, in the time of wheat harvest, that Samson visited his wife with a kid; and he said, I will go in to my wife into the chamber. But her father would not allow him to go in.
| و بعد از چندی، واقع شد که شمشون در روزهای درو گندم برای دیدن زن خود با بزغاله‌ای آمد و گفت نزد زن خود به حجره خواهم درآمد. لیکن پدرش نگذاشت که داخل شود. | ۱ |
2 And her father said, I verily thought that thou hadst utterly hated her; therefore I gave her to thy companion: is not her younger sister fairer than she? take her, I pray thee, instead of her.
| و پدرزنش گفت: «گمان می‌کردم که او رابغض می‌نمودی، پس او را به رفیق تو دادم، آیاخواهر کوچکش از او بهتر نیست؛ او را به عوض وی برای خود بگیر.» | ۲ |
3 And Samson said concerning them, Now shall I be more blameless than the Philistines, though I do them harm.
| شمشون به ایشان گفت: «این دفعه از فلسطینیان بی‌گناه خواهم بود اگرایشان را اذیتی برسانم.» | ۳ |
4 And Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took torches, and turned tail to tail, and put a torch in the midst between two tails.
| و شمشون روانه شده، سیصد شغال گرفت، و مشعلها برداشته، دم بر دم گذاشت، و در میان هر دو‌دم مشعلی گذارد. | ۴ |
5 And when he had lighted the torches, he let them go into the standing grain of the Philistines, and burnt up both the shocks, and also the standing grain, with the vineyards and olives.
| ومشعلها را آتش زده، آنها را در کشتزارهای فلسطینیان فرستاد، و بافه‌ها و زرعها و باغهای زیتون را سوزانید. | ۵ |
6 Then the Philistines said, Who hath done this? And they answered, Samson, the son in law of the Timnite, because he had taken his wife, and given her to his companion. And the Philistines came up, and burnt her and her father with fire.
| و فلسطینیان گفتند: «کیست که این را کرده است؟» گفتند: «شمشون دامادتمنی، زیرا که زنش را گرفته، او را به رفیقش داده است.» پس فلسطینیان آمده، زن و پدرش را به آتش سوزانیدند. | ۶ |
7 And Samson said to them, Though ye have done this, yet will I be avenged of you, and after that I will cease.
| و شمشون به ایشان گفت: «اگربه اینطور عمل کنید، البته از شما انتقام خواهم کشید و بعد از آن آرامی خواهم یافت.» | ۷ |
8 And he smote them hip and thigh with a great slaughter: and he went down and dwelt in the top of the rock Etam.
| و ایشان را از ساق تا ران به صدمه‌ای عظیم کشت. پس رفته، در مغاره صخره عیطام ساکن شد. | ۸ |
9 Then the Philistines went up, and encamped in Judah, and spread themselves in Lehi.
| و فلسطینیان برآمده، در یهودا اردو زدند ودر لحی متفرق شدند. | ۹ |
10 And the men of Judah said, Why have ye come up against us? And they answered, We have come to bind Samson, to do to him as he hath done to us.
| و مردان یهودا گفتند: «چرا بر ما برآمدید.» گفتند: «آمده‌ایم تا شمشون را ببندیم و برحسب آنچه به ما کرده است به اوعمل نماییم.» | ۱۰ |
11 Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast done to us? And he said to them, As they did to me, so have I done to them.
| پس سه هزار نفر از یهودا به مغاره صخره عیطام رفته، به شمشون گفتند: «آیاندانسته‌ای که فلسطینیان بر ما تسلط دارند، پس این چه‌کار است که به ما کرده‌ای؟» در جواب ایشان گفت: «به نحوی که ایشان به من کردند، من به ایشان عمل نمودم.» | ۱۱ |
12 And they said to him, We have come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said to them, Swear to me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.
| ایشان وی را گفتند: «ماآمده‌ایم تا تو را ببندیم و به‌دست فلسطینیان بسپاریم.» شمشون در جواب ایشان گفت: «برای من قسم بخورید که خود بر من هجوم نیاورید.» | ۱۲ |
13 And they spoke to him, saying, No; but we will bind thee securely, and deliver thee into their hand: but surely we will not kill thee. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock.
| ایشان در جواب وی گفتند: «حاشا! بلکه تو رابسته، به‌دست ایشان خواهیم سپرد، و یقین تو رانخواهیم کشت.» پس او را به دو طناب نو بسته، ازصخره برآوردند. | ۱۳ |
14 And when he came to Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.
| و چون او به لحی رسید، فلسطینیان ازدیدن او نعره زدند و روح خداوند بر وی مستقرشده، طنابهایی که بر بازوهایش بود مثل کتانی که به آتش سوخته شود گردید، و بندها از دستهایش فروریخت. | ۱۴ |
15 And he found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men with it.
| و چانه تازه الاغی یافته، دست خود را دراز کرد و آن را گرفته، هزار مرد با آن کشت. | ۱۵ |
16 And Samson said, With the jawbone of a donkey, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of a donkey have I slain a thousand men.
| و شمشون گفت: «با چانه الاغ توده برتوده با چانه الاغ هزار مرد کشتم.» | ۱۶ |
17 And it came to pass, when he had finished speaking, that he cast away the jawbone out of his hand, and called that place Ramathlehi.
| و چون ازگفتن فارغ شد، چانه را از دست خود انداخت وآن مکان را رمت لحی نامید. | ۱۷ |
18 And he was very thirsty, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die by thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?
| پس بسیار تشنه شده، نزد خداوند دعاکرده، گفت که «به‌دست بنده ات این نجات عظیم را دادی و آیا الان از تشنگی بمیرم و به‌دست نامختونان بیفتم؟» | ۱۸ |
19 But God opened an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water out of it; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: therefore he called the name of it Enhakkore, which is in Lehi to this day.
| پس خدا کفه‌ای را که درلحی بود شکافت که آب از آن جاری شد و چون بنوشید جانش برگشته، تازه روح شد. از این سبب اسمش عین حقوری خوانده شد که تا امروز درلحی است. | ۱۹ |
20 And he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines twenty years.
| و او در روزهای فلسطینیان بیست سال بر اسرائیل داوری نمود. | ۲۰ |
