Job 39
1 Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve?
൧പാറയിലെ കാട്ടാടുകളുടെ പ്രസവകാലം നിനക്കറിയാമോ? മാൻപേടകളുടെ ഈറ്റുനോവ് നീ കാണുമോ?
2 Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth?
൨അവയ്ക്ക് ഗർഭം തികയുന്ന മാസം നിനക്ക് കണക്ക് കൂട്ടാമോ? അവയുടെ പ്രസവകാലം നിനക്ക് അറിയാമോ?
3 They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows.
൩അവ കുനിഞ്ഞ് കുട്ടികളെ പ്രസവിക്കുന്നു; ക്ഷണത്തിൽ വേദന ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു.
4 Their young ones are become strong, they grow strong with grain; they go forth, and return not to them.
൪അവയുടെ കുട്ടികൾ ബലപ്പെട്ട് കാട്ടിൽ വളരുന്നു; അവ പുറത്തേക്ക് പോകുന്നു; മടങ്ങിവരുന്നതുമില്ല.
5 Who hath sent out the wild donkey free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild donkey?
൫കാട്ടുകഴുതയെ അഴിച്ചുവിട്ടത് ആര്? വനഗർദ്ദഭത്തെ കെട്ടഴിച്ചതാര്?
6 Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings.
൬ഞാൻ മരുഭൂമി അതിന് വീടും ഉവർനിലം അതിന് പാർപ്പിടവുമാക്കി.
7 He scorneth the multitude of the city, neither regardeth he the crying of the driver.
൭അത് പട്ടണത്തിലെ ആരവം കേട്ടു ചിരിക്കുന്നു; തെളിക്കുന്നവന്റെ ശബ്ദം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.
8 The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing.
൮മലനിരകൾ അതിന്റെ മേച്ചല്പുറമാകുന്നു; പച്ചയായതൊക്കെയും അത് അന്വേഷിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നു.
9 Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?
൯കാട്ടുപോത്ത് നിന്നെ സേവിക്കുവാൻ തയ്യാറാകുമോ? അത് നിന്റെ പുല്‍തൊട്ടിക്കരികിൽ രാത്രിയിൽ പാർക്കുമോ?
10 Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
൧൦കാട്ടുപോത്തിനെ നിനക്ക് കയറിട്ട് ഉഴുവാൻ കൊണ്ടുപോകാമോ? അത് നിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ നിലം നിരത്തുമോ?
11 Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?
൧൧അതിന്റെ ശക്തി വലിയാതാകയാൽ നീ അതിനെ വിശ്വസിക്കുമോ? നിന്റെ വേല നീ അതിന് ഭരമേല്പിച്ച് കൊടുക്കുമോ?
12 Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn?
൧൨അത് നിന്റെ വിത്ത് കൊണ്ടുവരുമെന്നും നിന്റെ കളപ്പുരയിൽ കൂട്ടുമെന്നും നീ വിശ്വസിക്കുമോ?
13 Gavest thou the goodly wings to the peacocks? or wings and feathers to the ostrich?
൧൩ഒട്ടകപ്പക്ഷി ഉല്ലസിച്ച് ചിറക് വീശുന്നു; എങ്കിലും ചിറകും തൂവലുംകൊണ്ട് വാത്സല്യം കാണിക്കുമോ?
14 Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in the dust,
൧൪അത് നിലത്ത് മുട്ട ഇട്ടശേഷം പോകുന്നു; അവയെ പൊടിയിൽ വച്ച് വിരിയിക്കുന്നു.
15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.
൧൫കാൽ കൊണ്ട് അവ ഉടഞ്ഞുപോയേക്കുമെന്നോ കാട്ടുമൃഗം അവയെ ചവിട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞേക്കുമെന്നോ അത് ഓർക്കുന്നില്ല.
16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear;
൧൬അത് തന്റെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളോട് തനിക്കുള്ളവയല്ല എന്നപോലെ കാഠിന്യം കാണിക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ പ്രയത്നം വ്യർത്ഥമായിപ്പോകുമെന്ന് ഭയപ്പെടുന്നില്ല.
17 Because God hath withheld wisdom from her, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.
൧൭ദൈവം അതിന് ജ്ഞാനമില്ലാതാക്കി വിവേകം അതിന് നല്കിയിട്ടും ഇല്ല.
18 When she lifteth herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider.
൧൮അത് ചിറകടിച്ച് പൊങ്ങി ഓടുമ്പോൾ കുതിരയെയും പുറത്ത് കയറിയവനെയും പരിഹസിക്കുന്നു.
19 Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?
൧൯കുതിരയ്ക്ക് നീയോ ശക്തി കൊടുത്തത്? അതിന്റെ കഴുത്തിന് നീയോ കുഞ്ചിരോമം അണിയിച്ചത്?
20 Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible.
൨൦നിനക്ക് അതിനെ വെട്ടുക്കിളിയെപ്പോലെ ചാടിക്കാമോ? അതിന്റെ ഹുങ്കാരപ്രതാപം ഭയങ്കരം.
21 He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men.
൨൧അത് താഴ്വരയിൽ മാന്തി ശക്തിയിൽ ഉല്ലസിക്കുന്നു. അത് ആയുധപാണികളെ എതിർക്കുന്നു.
22 He mocketh at fear, and is not dismayed; neither turneth he back from the sword.
൨൨അത് കൂശാതെ ഭയത്തെ പുച്ഛിക്കുന്നു; വാളിനോട് പിൻവാങ്ങുന്നതുമില്ല.
23 The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield.
൨൩അതിന് എതിരെ ആവനാഴിയും മിന്നുന്ന കുന്തവും ശൂലവും കിലുകിലുക്കുന്നു.
24 He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet.
൨൪അത് ഉഗ്രതയും കോപവും പൂണ്ട് നിലം വിഴുങ്ങുന്നു; കാഹളനാദം കേട്ടാൽ അത് അടങ്ങിനില്ക്കുകയില്ല.
25 He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.
൨൫കാഹളനാദം ധ്വനിക്കുന്തോറും അത് ഹാ, ഹാ എന്ന് ചിനയ്ക്കുന്നു; പടയും പടനായകന്മാരുടെ മുഴക്കവും ആർപ്പും ദൂരത്തുനിന്ന് മണക്കുന്നു.
26 Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south?
൨൬നിന്റെ വിവേകത്താൽ ആകുന്നുവോ പരുന്ത് പറക്കുകയും ചിറകു തെക്കോട്ട് വിടർക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതു?
27 Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?
൨൭നിന്റെ കല്പനക്കോ കഴുകൻ മേലോട്ട് പറക്കുകയും ഉയരത്തിൽ കൂടുവയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതു?
28 She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place.
൨൮അത് പാറയിൽ കുടിയേറി രാത്രി പാർക്കുന്നു; പാറമുകളിലും ദുർഗ്ഗത്തിലും തന്നെ.
29 From there she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off.
൨൯അവിടെനിന്ന് അത് ഇര തിരയുന്നു; അതിന്റെ കണ്ണ് ദൂരത്തേക്കു കാണുന്നു.
30 Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.
൩൦അതിന്റെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾ ചോര വലിച്ചുകുടിക്കുന്നു. പട്ടുപോയവർ എവിടെയോ അവിടെ അതുണ്ട്”.
