Job 15
1 Then answered Eliphaz the Temanite, and said,
၁တဖန်တေမန် အမျိုးသားဧလိဖတ်မြွက်ဆိုသည် ကား၊
2 Should a wise man utter vain knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind?
၂ပညာရှိသောသူသည် လေနှင့်တူသော အချည်း နှီးစကားကို ပြောသင့်သလော။ မိမိဝမ်းကို အရှေ့လေ နှင့်ပြည့်စေသင့်သလော။
3 Should he reason with unprofitable talk? or with speeches which he can do no good?
၃အကျိုးမဲ့သောစကား၊ ကျေးဇူးမပြုနိုင်သော စကားနှင့် ဆွေးနွှေးသင့်သလော။
4 Yea, thou castest off fear, and restrainest prayer before God.
၄သင်သည် ဘုရားသခင်ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ခြင်းအကျင့်၌ အကျိုးမရှိဟု ဆိုလို၏။ ဆိုတောင်းပဌနာပြုရာ ဝတ်ကို ဆီးတားတတ်၏။
5 For thy mouth uttereth thy iniquity, and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty.
၅သင်သည်ကိုယ်နှုတ်ဖြင့် ကိုယ်အပြစ်ကို ဘော်ပြ၏။ ပရိယာယ်ပြုသော သူ၏စကားကို သုံးတတ်၏။
6 Thy own mouth condemneth thee, and not I: yea, thy own lips testify against thee.
၆ငါသည် သင့်ကိုအပြစ်မတင်၊ သင့်နှုတ်သည် သင့်ကိုအပြစ်တင်၏။ သင့်နှုတ်ခမ်းတို့သည် သင့်တဘက် ၌ သက်သေခံ၏။
7 Art thou the first man that was born? or wast thou made before the hills?
၇သင်သည် အဦးဆုံးဘွားသောလူ ဖြစ်သလော။ တောင်များကို မဖန်ဆင်းမှီ သင့်ကိုဖန်ဆင်းသလော။
8 Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou limit wisdom to thyself?
၈ဘုရားသခင်နှင့် တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာတိုင်ပင်ဘူး သလော။ ပညာကို ကိုယ်၌အကုန်အစင် သိမ်းထားပြီ လော။
9 What knowest thou, that we know not? what understandest thou, which is not in us?
၉ငါတို့မသိ၊ သင်သိသောအရာမည်မျှရှိသနည်း။ ငါတို့၌မပါ၊ သင်နားလည်သောအရာမည်မျှရှိသနည်း။
10 With us are both the grayheaded and very aged men, much elder than thy father.
၁၀သင့်အဘထက်အသက်ကြီးသောသူ၊ ဆံပင်ဖြူ သောသူတို့သည် ငါတို့တွင်ရှိကြ၏။
11 Are the consolations of God small with thee? is there any secret thing with thee?
၁၁သင်၌ ဘုရားသခင်ပေးတော်မူသော သက်သာခြင်းအကြောင်း နည်းသလော။ သင်၌ဝှက်ထားသောအမှု တစုံတခုရှိသလော။
12 Why doth thy heart carry thee away? and what do thy eyes wink at,
၁၂ကိုယ်အလိုသို့လိုက်၍ အဘယ်ကြောင့် လွှဲသွားသနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် မျက်စောင်းထိုးသနည်း။
13 That thou turnest thy spirit against God, and lettest such words go out of thy mouth?
၁၃သင်၏စိတ်သဘောသည် ဘုရားသခင်နှင့် ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက်ဖြစ်၍၊ နှုတ်နှင့်ပြစ်မှားပေ၏။
14 What is man, that he should be clean? and he who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?
၁၄လူသည်အဘယ်သို့သော သူဖြစ်၍ သန့်ရှင်းနိုင်သနည်း။ မိန်းမဘွားသောသူသည် အဘယ်သို့သော သူဖြစ်၍ ဖြောင့်မတ်နိုင်သနည်း။
15 Behold, he putteth no trust in his holy ones; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight.
၁၅ဘုရားသခင်သည် မိမိသန့်ရှင်းသူတို့ကိုပင် ယုံတော်မမူ။ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံသော်လည်းရှေ့တော်၌ မစင်ကြယ်။
16 How much more abominable and filthy is man, who drinketh iniquity like water?
၁၆သို့ဖြစ်လျှင်၊ ရေကိုသောက်သကဲ့သို့ ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်ကို သောက်လျက်၊ ဆိုးညစ်ရွံ့ရှာဘွယ်သော လူသတ္တဝါ၌ အဘယ်ဆိုဘွယ် ရှိသနည်း။
17 I will show thee, hear me; and that which I have seen I will declare;
၁၇ငါ့စကားကို နားထောင်လော့။ တပါးအမျိုးသားနှင့် မရောနှော၊ ကိုယ်အမျိုးတမျိုးတည်းလျှင် မြေကို ပိုင်သော ပညာရှိတို့သည်၊ ဘိုးဘေးလက်ထက်မှစ၍ မထိမ်မဝှက်၊ ပြောဘူးသော အရာ၊ ငါ့ကိုယ်တိုင်မြင်သော အရာကို ငါပြသမည်။
18 Which wise men have told from their fathers, and have not hid it:
၁၈
19 To whom alone the earth was given, and no stranger passed among them.
၁၉
20 The wicked man travaileth with pain all his days, and the number of years is hidden to the oppressor.
၂၀ဆိုးသောသူသည် တသက်လုံး ဒုက္ခဆင်းရဲကို ခံရ၏။ ညှဉ်းဆဲဘတ်သော သူသည် မိမိအသက်အပိုင်း အခြားကို မသိရ။
21 A dreadful sound is in his ears: in prosperity the destroyer shall come upon him.
၂၁သူသည် ကြောက်မက်ဘွယ်သောအသံကို ကြားလျက်နေရ၏။ စည်းစိမ်ကို ခံစားစဉ်တွင်၊ ဖျက်ဆီး သော သူသည် လာတတ်၏။
22 He believeth not that he shall return out of darkness, and he is waited for by the sword.
၂၂မှောင်မိုက်ထဲမှာ ဘေးလွတ်မည်ဟု မြော်လင့် စရာမရှိ။ ထားသည့်သူ့ကို ချောင်းမြောင်းလျက်ရှိ၏။
23 He wandereth abroad for bread, saying, Where is it? he knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.
၂၃စားစရာကို ရှာ၍လှည့်လည်ရ၏။ မိမိအဘို့ မှောင်မိုက်ကာလသည် အသင့်ရှိသည်ကို သိ၏။
24 Trouble and anguish shall make him afraid; they shall prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle.
၂၄ဆင်းရဲခြင်းဒုက္ခနှင့် နာကြဉ်းခြင်းဝေဒနာတို့သည် ထိုသူကို ချောက်တတ်၏။ စစ်တိုက်ခြင်းငှါ အသင့် နေသော ရှင်ဘုရင်ကဲ့သို့ သူ့ကို နိုင်တတ်၏။
25 For he stretcheth out his hand against God, and strengtheneth himself against the Almighty.
၂၅အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုသူသည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ အာဏာတော်ကို ဆန်လျက်၊ အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်တဘက် ကနေ၍ ကိုယ်ကိုခိုင်ခံ့စေ၏။
26 He runneth upon him, even on his neck, upon his thick strong shield:
၂၆လည်ပင်းကို ဆန့်လျက်၊ ထူသောဒိုင်းပုနှင့် ဆီးကာလျက်၊ ဘုရားသခင်ကို တိုက်အံ့သောငှါ ပြေး၏။
27 Because he covereth his face with his fatness, and maketh his flanks heavy with fat.
၂၇မိမိမျက်နှာကို ဆူဖြိုးခြင်းနှင့် ဖုံးအုပ်၍၊ ဝမ်းပျဉ်း အသားသည်လည်း ဆူဖြိုးလျက် အတွန့်တွန့်နေ၏။
28 And he dwelleth in desolate cities, and in houses which no man inhabiteth, which are ready to become heaps.
၂၈သို့သော်လည်း လူဆိတ်ညံသောမြို့၊ အဘယ်သူ မျှမနေ။ လဲလုသော အိမ်တို့၌ သူသည်နေရ၏။
29 He shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he prolong the perfection of it upon the earth.
၂၉ငွေမရတတ်ရ၊ သူ၏စည်းစိမ်မတည်ရ။ သူ၏ ဥစ္စာပစ္စည်းသည် မြေကြီးပေါ်မှာ မပြန့်ပွါးရ။
30 He shall not depart out of darkness; the flame shall dry up his branches, and by the breath of his mouth shall he go away.
၃၀သူသည် မှောင်မိုက်ဘေးနှင့်မလွတ်ရ။ မီးလျှံသည်သူ၏အခက်အလက်တို့ကို လောင်လိမ့်မည်။ ဘုရားသခင်၏ နှုတ်တော်အသက်အားဖြင့် သုတ်သင် ပယ်ရှင်းခြင်းကို ခံရ၏။
31 Let not him that is deceived trust in vanity: for vanity shall be his recompence.
၃၁အဘယ်သူမျှလှည့်စားခြင်းကိုခံ၍ အနတ္တကို မခိုလှုံစေနှင့်။ သို့မဟုတ် အနတ္တအကျိုးကို ခံရလိမ့်မည်။
32 It shall be accomplished before his time, and his branch shall not be green.
၃၂အချိန်မစေ့မှီဆုံးခြင်းသို့ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။ သူ၏ အခက်အလက်သည် မစိမ်းရာ။
33 He shall shake off his unripe grape as the vine, and shall cast off his flower as the olive.
၃၃စပျစ်နွယ်ပင်ကဲ့သို့ မိမိ၌ မမှည့်သော အသီးကို ၎င်း၊ သံလွင်ပင်ကဲ့သို့ မိမိအပွင့်ကို၎င်း ချွေရလိမ့်မည်။
34 For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.
၃၄အဓမ္မလူ၏အသင်းသည် ဆိတ်ညံလိမ့်မည်။ တံစိုးစားသောသူတို့၏နေရာသည် မီးလောင်လိမ့်မည်။
35 They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their heart prepareth deceit.
၃၅ထိုသူတို့သည်မကောင်းသောအကြံကို ပဋိသန္ဓေယူ၍ အနတ္တကိုဘွားတတ်ကြ၏။ သူတို့ဝမ်းထဲ၌မုသာကို ကိုယ်ဝန်ဆောင်တတ်သည်ဟု မြွက်ဆို၏။
