Jeremiah 20
1 Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.
১যিহোৱাৰ গৃহৰ প্ৰধান অধ্যক্ষ ইম্মেৰৰ পুতেক পুৰোহিত পচহুৰে যিৰিমিয়াৰ এইবোৰ ভাববাণী প্ৰচাৰ কৰা শুনি,
2 Then Pashur struck Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the LORD.
২তেওঁ যিৰিমিয়া ভাববাদীক প্ৰহাৰ কৰি, যিহোৱাৰ গৃহত থকা ওপৰ-দুৱাৰৰ কুন্দাত বন্ধ কৰি ৰাখিলে।
3 And it came to pass on the next day, that Pashur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah to him, The LORD hath not called thy name Pashur, but Magormissabib.
৩পাছদিনা পচহুৰে যিৰিমিয়াক কুন্দৰ পৰা মুকলি কৰি উলিয়াই আনিলত, যিৰিমিয়াই তেওঁক ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই তোমাৰ নাম পচহুৰ ৰখা নাই, কিন্তু মাগোৰ-মিছাবীব ৰাখিলে।
4 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thy eyes shall behold it: and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.
৪কিয়নো যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: ‘চোৱা!, মই তোমাৰ পক্ষে, আৰু তোমাৰ আটাই বন্ধুৰ পক্ষে তোমাক ত্ৰাসৰ বিষয় কৰিম; কিয়নো তেওঁলোক শত্ৰূবোৰৰ তৰোৱালত পতিত হ’ব, আৰু তুমি তাক নিজ চকুৰে দেখিবলৈ পাবা। আৰু মই গোটেই যিহূদাক বাবিলৰ ৰজাৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰিম। তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক বন্দী কৰি বাবিললৈ নিব, বা তৰোৱালেৰে আক্রমণ কৰিব।
5 Moreover I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all its labours, and all its precious things, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies, who shall plunder them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.
৫ইয়াত বাজে মই এই নগৰৰ সকলো সম্পত্তি আৰু তাৰ আটাই পৰিশ্ৰমৰ ফল, আৰু আটাই বহুমুল্য বস্তু, এনে কি, যিহূদাৰ ৰজাসকলৰ সমস্ত ভঁৰালৰ উত্তম দ্ৰব্য তেওঁলোকৰ শত্ৰূবোৰৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰিম; তেওঁলোকে সেইবোৰ লুট কৰি বাবিললৈ লৈ যাব।
6 And thou, Pashur, and all that dwell in thy house shall go into captivity: and thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt die, and shalt be buried there, thou, and all thy friends, to whom thou hast prophesied lies.
৬আৰু হে পচহুৰ, তুমি আৰু তোমাৰ গৃহবাসী সকলোৱেই বন্দী-অৱস্থালৈ যাব, আৰু তুমি বাবিললৈ গৈ তাত মৰিবা; আৰু তাত তোমাক, আৰু তুমি যিসকলৰ আগত মিছাকৈ ভাববাণী প্ৰচাৰ কৰিছিলা, তোমাৰ সেই সকলো বন্ধুক পোতা যাব।
7 O LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me.
৭হে যিহোৱা, তুমি মোৰ প্ৰবৃত্তি জন্মোৱাতহে মোৰ প্ৰবৃত্তি জন্মিল; তুমি মোতকৈ বলৱান, এই কাৰণে তুমি মোক বলে পাৰিলা। মই ওৰে দিনটো হাঁহিয়াতৰ বিষয় হৈছোঁ, সকলোৱে মোক ঠাট্টা কৰে।
8 For since I spoke, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach to me, and a derision, daily.
৮কিয়নো মই যিমানবাৰ কথা কওঁ, সিমানবাৰ মই চিঞৰোঁ, ‘মই অত্যাচাৰ আৰু অপহৰণ’ বুলি চিঞৰোঁ। কাৰণে যিহোৱা বাক্য মোৰ পক্ষে ওৰে দিনটো নিন্দা আৰু উপহাসৰ কাৰণ হৈছে।
9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in my heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not refrain.
৯আৰু যদি মই কওঁ, যে, ‘মই যিহোৱাক আৰু উল্লেখ নকৰোঁ; বা তেওঁৰ নামেৰে আৰু নকওঁ’, তেনেহ’লে মোৰ হাড়বোৰত বন্ধ কৰা জ্বলি থকা জুই যেন মোৰ অন্তৰত লাগে; মই সহি সহি ক্লান্ত হ’লো, সহি আৰু থকিব নোৱাৰোঁ।
10 For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my friends watched for my fall, saying, Perhaps he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.
১০কিয়নো অনেকে দুৰ্ণাম কৰা মই শুনিলোঁ; চাৰিওফালে ত্ৰাস: ‘তোমালোকে তাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে কথা কোৱা, আৰু আমিও তাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে কথা কম,’ মই উজুটি খাবলৈ বাট চাই থকা মোৰ সকলো বন্ধু কয়, “কিজানি তাক ভুলুৱা যাব, তাতে আমি তাক বলে পাৰিম, আমি তাৰ ওপৰত প্ৰতিকাৰ সাধিম।’
11 But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.
১১কিন্তু যিহোৱা ভয়ানক বীৰৰ নিচিনাকৈ মোৰ সঙ্গত থাকে, সেইবাবে মোৰ তাড়নাকাৰীসকলে উজুটি খাব। আৰু তেওঁলোক কৃতকাৰ্য্য নহ’ব। তেওঁলোকে জ্ঞানেৰে সৈতে ব্যৱহাৰ নকৰাত অতিশয় লাজ পাব; সেই অপমান কেতিয়াও পাহৰা নাযাব, চিৰকাললৈকে থাকিব।
12 But, O LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for to thee have I opened my cause.
১২কিন্তু ধাৰ্মিকক পৰীক্ষা কৰোঁতা, মৰ্ম্ম আৰু হৃদয় দেখোঁতা হে বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱা, তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰত তেওঁলোকে সধা প্ৰতিকাৰ তুমি মোক দেখিবলৈ দিয়া; কিয়নো তোমাৰ আগতহে মোৰ গোচৰ সমৰ্পণ কৰিলোঁ।
13 Sing to the LORD, praise ye the LORD: for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.
১৩তোমালোকে যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে গান কৰা! যিহোৱাৰ প্ৰশংসা কৰা! কাৰণ তেওঁ দুৰাচাৰীবোৰৰ হাতৰ পৰা দৰিদ্ৰ লোকৰ প্ৰাণ উদ্ধাৰ কৰিলে।
14 Cursed be the day when I was born: let not the day when my mother bore me be blessed.
১৪মই যি দিনা জন্মিছিলোঁ, সেই দিন অভিশপ্ত হওঁক। মোৰ মাতৃয়ে যি দিনা মোক প্ৰসৱ কৰিছিল, সেই দিন আশীৰ্ব্বাদহীন হওঁক।
15 Cursed be the man who brought tidings to my father, saying, A son is born to thee; making him very glad.
১৫তোমাৰ পুত্ৰ সন্তান জন্মিল বুলি যি মানুহে মোৰ পিতৃক সম্বাদ দি আনন্দ কৰিছিল, তেৱোঁ অভিশপ্ত হওঁক।
16 And let that man be as the cities which the LORD overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear the cry in the morning, and the shouting at noon;
১৬সেই মানুহ, যিহোৱাই ক্ষমা নকৰি উৎপাত কৰা নগৰ কেইখনৰ নিচিনা হওঁক। তেওঁ ৰাতিপুৱা চিঞঁৰ আৰু দুপৰ বেলা উচ্চ-ধ্বনি শুনক।
17 Because he slew me not in the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me.
১৭কাৰণ সি গৰ্ভতে মোক মাৰি নেপেলালে; তাকে কৰা হ’লে, মোৰ মাতৃয়েই মোৰ মৈদাম হ’লহেতেন, আৰু তেওঁৰ গৰ্ভ সদায় ভাৰী হৈ থাকিলহেতেন।
18 Why was I brought out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?
১৮মোৰ দিন লাজেৰে অন্ত হবৰ বাবে, পৰিশ্ৰম আৰু শোক দেখিবলৈ মই কিয় গৰ্ভৰ পৰা বাহিৰ হলোঁ?”
