< Hebrews 2 >
1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
Ku lulo ingi kusinja kuike i ntongeeli ikilo ku ayo nai kigulye, iti kina kuleke kubagulwa kuli ni menso.
2 For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
Ku ndogoelyo anga itule utung'waa nai uligitigwe nu malaika ingi tai ane, ni kila mulandu nu upiluki wisingiilya u upisiiligwa udu,
3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by them that heard him;
ku ulija uli kuhuga anga kuhute kukela u ugunwa uwu nu ukulu? Uguniki naza ng'wandyo ai utanantigwe nu Mukulu nu kukaminkiiligwa kitaitu ni awo nai auigulye.
4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will?
Ga ni Itunda ai ukaminkiiye ku ilingasiilyo, ukuilwa, ni ku ntendo nkulu kuli kuli, nu ku ipegwa nia Ng'wau Ng'welu nai uigalanilye kuniganiila nu ulowa nuakwe wing'wene.
5 For to the angels he hath not put in subjection the world to come, concerning which we speak.
Itunda shanga ai uiikile u unkumbigulu nu upembilye, naza kuuligitilya i nkani niakwe, pihi a amalaika.
6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Badala akwe, antu a kituunga akuiie ku kianza nika kituunga azeligitya, “Muntu ingi ntuni, uhume ga nu kumukimbukiilya? Ang'wi ng'wana nua muntu, ga nu kumukulya?
7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou didst crown him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
muntu kutula muniino kukila i a malaika; umutugae ngala a ikulyo nu ukuligwa.
8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not made subject to him. But now we see not yet all things made subject to him.
Uikile. kila i kintu pihi a mikono ako “Kululo Itunda uikile kila i kintu pihi a muntu. Shanga ai ulekile kintu kihi naiza kikutili pihi akwe. Kuiti itungili iti shanga kukili kihenga kila i kintu kize kikoli pihi akwe.
9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Ga ni iti, kuihenga naiza watuile uazipilye ku itungo, pihi kukila u malaika - Yesu, naiza, kunsoko a lwago nu lakwe ni nsha akwe, utugawe i ngala ikulyo nu ukulu. Iti gwa itungili ku ukende nuang'wa Itunda, uYesu uluiye i nsha kunsoko a kila muntu.
10 For it was befitting for him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Ai ituile izipie kina Itunda, kunsoko kila i kintu kikoli ku nsoko akwe ni kukiila ng'wenso, ai utakiwe kualeta ang'inya idu mi ikulyo, ni kina ai utakiwe kumuzipya lukolongo mu uguniki nuao kutula ukondaniie kukiila lwago nu lakwe.
11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
Ku ndogoelyo ihi a biili uyo nui ikila ikulyo ni awo naza aikiwe ikulyo, ihi apembeeye mu upumoo ung'wi, Itunda. Kunsoko iyi uyo nuiaikila ikulyo kung'wa Itunda shanga wihung'waa i minyala kuitanga aluna.
12 Saying, I will declare thy name to my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise to thee.
Ukuligitya, “Nikatanantya i lina nilako ku aluna ane, nikimba kutula u ewe kupuma mu kati a milundo.”
13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
Hangi ukuligitya, “Nikahuiila mu ng'wenso.” Ni hangi, “Goza, apa nkoli ni ana ang'wa Itunda umpee”
14 Since then the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Ku lulo, ku nsoko ana ang'wi Itunda ihii i hanguilaa u muili nu sakami, ga ni iti uYesu ai uhanguie intu zizo ziizo, iti kina kukiila nsha walije kumunyesha uyo naiza ukete u uhumi migulya a muimba, naiza ingi Mulugu.
15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Iki aikatulaa iti waike ilyuuku awo ihi naza kukiila woa nua nsha ai ikie likalo nulao lihi mu utuung'wa.
16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
Ku kulu kuulu shanga a Malaika ni wia aiilya. Badala akwe, wia aiilya utuugwa wang'wa Abrahamu.
17 Therefore in all things it behoved him to be made like his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Ku lulo, ai ituile kusinja u ng'wenso watule anga anyandugu akwe mu nzila yihi, iti wahume kutula kuhani nu mukulu munya uwai hangi muhuiili ku intu yang'wa Itunda, ni iti kina watule nu uhumi nua kupumya u ulekelwa ku milandu a antu.
18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to help them that are tempted.
Ku nsoko uYesu mukola wagile, nu kugeng'wa, ukete uhumi ku a aiilya awo niakugeng'wa.
