Ezekiel 27
1 The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,
Und das Wort des HERRN erging an mich also:
2 Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyre;
Du, Menschensohn, stimme ein Klagelied über Tyrus an
3 And say to Tyre, O thou that dwelleth at the entrance of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyre, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.
und sprich zu Tyrus, die am Meeresstrande liegt und mit den Völkern Handel treibt nach vielen Inseln hin: So spricht Gott, der HERR: Tyrus, du hast gesagt: Ich bin die vollendete Schönheit!
4 Thy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.
Dein Gebiet liegt mitten im Meere, und deine Bauleute haben dich vollkommen schön gemacht.
5 They have made all thy ship planks of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.
Aus Zypressen von Senir haben sie alle deine Planken gemacht; Zedern vom Libanon haben sie genommen, um dir Mastbäume zu machen.
6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thy oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.
Aus Eichen von Basan haben sie deine Ruder gefertigt; sie haben deine Bänke aus Elfenbein gemacht, in Fichtenholz gefaßt, von den Inseln der Kittäer.
7 Fine linen with embroidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee.
Von feiner Baumwolle, aus buntgewirktem Stoff von Ägypten war dein Segel, daß es dir zum Panier diene, und von blauem und rotem Purpur von den Gestaden Elischa war deine Decke.
8 The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyre, that were in thee, were thy pilots.
Die Einwohner von Zidon und Arvad wurden deine Ruderknechte; deine eigenen Weisen, o Tyrus, die in dir wohnten, waren deine Steuermänner.
9 The ancients of Gebal and her wise men were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to exchange thy merchandise.
Die Ältesten von Gebal und ihre Weisen sind bei dir gewesen und haben deine Schiffe ausgebessert. Alle Meerschiffe samt ihren Matrosen sind bei dir gewesen, um Tauschhandel mit dir zu treiben.
10 They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thy army, thy men of war: they hung the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.
Die Perser, Lydier und Libyer waren in deinem Heer als deine Kriegsleute; sie hängten ihre Schilde und Helme bei dir auf, sie zierten dich.
11 The men of Arvad with thy army were upon thy walls on all sides, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hung their shields upon thy walls on every side; they have made thy beauty perfect.
Die von Arvad waren mit deinem Heer ringsum auf deinen Mauern und Tapfere auf deinen Türmen. Sie hängten ihre Schilde ringsum auf an deinen Mauern und vervollständigten dadurch deine Schönheit.
12 Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.
Tarsis hat mit dir Handel getrieben mit einer Menge von allerlei Gütern; mit Silber, Eisen, Zinn und Blei hat es deine Märkte versehen.
13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded in the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.
Javan, Tubal und Mesech sind deine Kaufleute gewesen; mit Menschenseelen und ehernen Geräten haben sie mit dir Tauschhandel getrieben.
14 They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.
Die von dem Hause Togarma haben Rosse, Reiter und Maultiere auf deine Märkte gebracht.
15 The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thy hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony.
Die von Dedan waren deine Abnehmer; viele Inseln, welche mit dir handelten, tauschten mit dir Elfenbein und Ebenholz.
16 Syria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they traded in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and embroidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.
Die Syrer bereisten dich wegen der Menge deiner Erzeugnisse; sie versahen deine Märkte mit Rubinen, rotem Purpur, buntgewirkten Stoffen, feiner Baumwolle, Korallen und Granaten.
17 Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market in wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.
Juda und das Land Israel waren deine Abnehmer; sie gaben dir Weizen von Minnit, Wachs, Honig, Öl und Balsam zum Austausch.
18 Damascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.
Damaskus trieb Handel mit dir wegen der Menge deiner Erzeugnisse, mit einer Menge von allerlei Waren, mit Wein von Helbon und Wolle von Zachar.
19 Dan also and Javan going to and fro traded in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.
Wedan und Javan haben von Usal geschmiedetes Eisen, Kassia und Zimtrohr als Tauschware auf deine Märkte gebracht.
20 Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots.
Dedan hat mit Satteldecken zum Reiten mit dir gehandelt.
21 Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they traded with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants.
Die Araber und alle Fürsten von Kedar suchten dich auf mit Schafen, Widdern und Böcken; damit trieben sie Handel mit dir.
22 The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy fairs with the best of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.
Die Kaufleute von Saba und Rama haben mit dir gehandelt mit dem allerköstlichsten Gewürz, mit allerlei Edelsteinen; sie haben Gold auf deine Märkte gebracht.
23 Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants.
Haran, Kanne und Eden, Kaufleute aus Seba, Assur und Kilmad sind deine Abnehmer gewesen.
24 These were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and embroidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.
Sie kamen auf deinen Markt mit köstlichen Gewändern, mit Mänteln von blauem Purpur und buntgewirktem Stoff, mit bunten Teppichen, mit geflochtenen und festgedrehten Seilen.
25 The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.
Tarsisschiffe vertrieben deine Tauschwaren; davon wurdest du sehr reich und geehrt im Herzen der Meere!
26 Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas.
Deine Schiffleute haben dich über viele Wasser gebracht; ein Ostwind soll dich zerbrechen im Herzen der Meere!
27 Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the traders of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.
Deine Reichtümer und deine Märkte, dein Tauschhandel, deine Ruderknechte und deine Steuermänner, deine Schiffszimmerleute und deine Tauschhändler und alle deine Kriegsleute, welche bei dir sind, und die ganze Volksmenge in dir werden mitten ins Meer stürzen am Tage deines Falls.
28 The waves shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots.
Von dem Geschrei deiner Steuermänner werden die Wasserflächen zittern.
29 And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;
Alle, die das Ruder führen, die Schiffsleute und alle Steuermänner auf dem Meere, werden aus ihren Schiffen steigen und ans Land treten.
30 And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:
Und sie werden deinetwegen ihre Stimme erheben und bitterlich schreien. Sie werden Staub auf ihre Häupter werfen und sich in der Asche wälzen.
31 And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird themselves with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.
Auch werden sie sich um deinetwillen kahl scheren und Säcke anlegen. Sie werden dich mit Herzeleid und in bitterer Klage beweinen.
32 And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyre, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?
Auch werden sie in ihrem Jammer ein Klagelied über dich anstimmen und über dich wehklagen: Wer ist gleich Tyrus, das so still geworden ist mitten im Meere?
33 When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou didst fill many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise.
Als deine Güter den Meeren entstiegen, ernährtest du viele Völker; mit der Menge deiner Reichtümer und mit deinem Tauschhandel bereichertest du die Könige der Erde.
34 In the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.
Nun aber, da du zerbrochen und vom Meere weg in das tiefe Wasser gestürzt worden bist, ist dein Tauschhandel und all dein Volk mit dir gefallen!
35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be terribly afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance.
Alle Einwohner der Inseln sind entsetzt über dich, und alle ihre Könige sind von Schauder erfaßt; ihre Angesichter beben.
36 The merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt be any more.
Die Kaufleute unter den Völkern seufzen deinetwegen. Du bist zum Schreckbild geworden und für immer dahin!
