Exodus 20
1 And God spoke all these words, saying,
Allah bütün bu sözləri belə söylədi:
2 I am the LORD thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
«Səni Misir torpağından, köləlik diyarından çıxaran Allahın Rəbb Mənəm.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Məndən başqa allahların olmasın.
4 Thou shalt not make to thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Özün üçün heç bir oyma büt, nə yuxarıda – səmada və ya aşağıda – yerdə, nə də yerdən aşağıya yığılan sulardakı şeylərin heç birinin surətini düzəltmə.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
Belə şeylərə səcdə qılaraq ibadət etmə. Çünki Mən, sənin Allahın Rəbb, qısqanc Allaham. Mənə nifrət edən ataların cəzasını üç-dörd nəslə qədər övladlarına çəkdirərəm.
6 And showing mercy to thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Məni sevib əmrlərimə əməl edənlərin isə minlərlə nəslinə məhəbbət göstərərəm.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Allahın Rəbbin adını boş yerə dilinə gətirmə, çünki Rəbb Öz adını boş yerə dilinə gətirəni cəzasız qoymaz.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Şənbə gününü yadda saxlayıb təqdis et.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Altı gün çalışıb bütün işlərini gör.
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy male servant, nor thy female servant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Lakin yeddinci gün Allahın Rəbbin Şənbə günüdür. Bu gün sən, oğlun, qızın, qulun, qarabaşın, heyvanların, yanında qalan yadelli də heç bir iş görməsin.
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day: therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Çünki altı gün ərzində Rəbb göyləri və yeri, dənizi və kainatdakı hər şeyi yaratdı, yeddinci gün isə istirahət etdi. Bunun üçün Rəbb Şənbə gününə bərəkət verib onu müqəddəs saydı.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Ata-anana hörmət et ki, Allahın Rəbbin sənə verdiyi torpaqda ömrün uzun olsun.
13 Thou shalt not kill.
Qətl etmə.
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Zina etmə.
15 Thou shalt not steal.
Oğurluq etmə.
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
Heç kimə qarşı yalandan şahidlik etmə.
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.
Heç kimin evinə tamah salma. Heç kimin arvadına, quluna, qarabaşına, öküzünə, eşşəyinə – heç bir şeyinə tamah salma».
18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they trembled, and stood afar off.
Bütün xalq göy gurultusunu, şimşəkləri, şeypur səsini, dağın tüstülənməsini eşidib görəndə qorxub sarsıldı və uzaqda durdu.
19 And they said to Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.
Musaya dedilər: «Sən bizimlə danış, biz də eşidək. Qoy Allah bizimlə danışmasın, yoxsa ölərik».
20 And Moses said to the people, Fear not: for God is come to test you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.
Musa xalqa dedi: «Qorxmayın, Allah ona görə gəlib ki, sizi sınağa çəksin və siz günah etməmək üçün Onun qorxusu qarşınızda olsun».
21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was.
Xalq uzaqda duranda Musa orada Allahın olduğu qatı qaranlığa yaxınlaşdı.
22 And the LORD said to Moses, Thus thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
Rəbb Musaya dedi: «İsrail övladlarına belə de: “Siz gördünüz ki, Mən sizinlə göylərdən danışdım.
23 Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make to you gods of gold.
Mənimlə yanaşı olan başqa allahlar düzəltməyin, özünüz üçün qızıldan və gümüşdən allahlar düzəltməyin.
24 An altar of earth thou shalt make to me, and shalt sacrifice on it thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thy oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come to thee, and I will bless thee.
Mənim üçün torpaqdan qurbangah düzəldib yandırma və ünsiyyət qurbanları olaraq öz qoyun-keçi və mal-qaranı onun üstündə qurban gətir. Adım çəkilən hər yerdə yanına gəlib sənə bərəkət verəcəyəm.
25 And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou shalt lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.
Əgər Mənim üçün daşdan qurbangah düzəltsən, yonma daşdan tikmə, çünki onun üzərində alətlə işləsən, onu murdar edərsən.
26 Neither shalt thou go up by steps to my altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered on it.
Ayıbın açılmamaq üçün Mənim qurbangahıma pilləkənlə çıxma”.
