Ephesians 5
1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
อโต ยูยํ ปฺริยพาลกา อิเวศฺวรสฺยานุการิโณ ภวต,
2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
ขฺรีษฺฏ อิว เปฺรมาจารํ กุรุต จ, ยต: โส'สฺมาสุ เปฺรม กฺฤตวานฺ อสฺมากํ วินิมเยน จาตฺมนิเวทนํ กฺฤตฺวา คฺราหฺยสุคนฺธารฺถกมฺ อุปหารํ พลิญฺเจศฺวราจ ทตฺตวานฺฯ
3 But immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
กินฺตุ เวศฺยาคมนํ สรฺวฺววิธาเศาจกฺริยา โลภศฺไจเตษามฺ อุจฺจารณมปิ ยุษฺมากํ มเธฺย น ภวตุ, เอตเทว ปวิตฺรโลกานามฺ อุจิตํฯ
4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not befitting: but rather giving of thanks.
อปรํ กุตฺสิตาลาป: ปฺรลาป: เศฺลโษกฺติศฺจ น ภวตุ ยต เอตานฺยนุจิตานิ กินฺตฺวีศฺวรสฺย ธนฺยวาโท ภวตุฯ
5 For this ye know, that no immoral, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
เวศฺยาคามฺยเศาจาจารี เทวปูชก อิว คโณฺย โลภี ไจเตษำ โกษิ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ราเชฺย'รฺถต อีศฺวรสฺย ราเชฺย กมปฺยธิการํ น ปฺราปฺสฺยตีติ ยุษฺมาภิ: สมฺยกฺ ชฺญายตำฯ
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
อนรฺถกวาเกฺยน โก'ปิ ยุษฺมานฺ น วญฺจยตุ ยตสฺตาทฺฤคาจารเหโตรนาชฺญาคฺราหิษุ โลเกษฺวีศฺวรสฺย โกโป วรฺตฺตเตฯ
7 Be ye not therefore partakers with them.
ตสฺมาทฺ ยูยํ ไต: สหภาคิโน น ภวตฯ
8 For ye were once darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
ปูรฺวฺวํ ยูยมฺ อนฺธการสฺวรูปา อาธฺวํ กินฺตฺวิทานีํ ปฺรภุนา ทีปฺติสฺวรูปา ภวถ ตสฺมาทฺ ทีปฺเต: สนฺตานา อิว สมาจรตฯ
9 ( For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth; )
ทีปฺเต รฺยตฺ ผลํ ตตฺ สรฺวฺววิธหิไตษิตายำ ธรฺมฺเม สตฺยาลาเป จ ปฺรกาศเตฯ
10 Proving what is acceptable to the Lord.
ปฺรภเว ยทฺ โรจเต ตตฺ ปรีกฺษธฺวํฯ
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
ยูยํ ติมิรสฺย วิผลกรฺมฺมณามฺ อํศิโน น ภูตฺวา เตษำ โทษิตฺวํ ปฺรกาศยตฯ
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.
ยตเสฺต โลกา รหมิ ยทฺ ยทฺ อาจรนฺติ ตทุจฺจารณมฺ อปิ ลชฺชาชนกํฯ
13 But all things that are reproved are made visible by the light: for whatever doth make manifest is light.
ยโต ทีปฺตฺยา ยทฺ ยตฺ ปฺรกาศฺยเต ตตฺ ตยา จกาสฺยเต ยจฺจ จกาสฺติ ตทฺ ทีปฺติสฺวรูปํ ภวติฯ
14 Therefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
เอตตฺการณาทฺ อุกฺตมฺ อาเสฺต, "เห นิทฺริต ปฺรพุธฺยสฺว มฺฤเตภฺยศฺโจตฺถิตึ กุรุฯ ตตฺกฺฤเต สูรฺยฺยวตฺ ขฺรีษฺฏ: สฺวยํ ตฺวำ โทฺยตยิษฺยติฯ "
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
อต: สาวธานา ภวต, อชฺญานา อิว มาจรต กินฺตุ ชฺญานิน อิว สตรฺกมฺ อาจรตฯ
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
สมยํ พหุมูลฺยํ คณยธฺวํ ยต: กาลา อภทฺรา: ฯ
17 Therefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
ตสฺมาทฺ ยูยมฺ อชฺญานา น ภวต กินฺตุ ปฺรโภรภิมตํ กึ ตทวคตา ภวตฯ
18 And be not drunk with wine, in which is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
สรฺวฺวนาศชนเกน สุราปาเนน มตฺตา มา ภวต กินฺตฺวาตฺมนา ปูรฺยฺยธฺวํฯ
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
อปรํ คีไต รฺคาไน: ปารมารฺถิกกีรฺตฺตไนศฺจ ปรสฺปรมฺ อาลปนฺโต มนสา สารฺทฺธํ ปฺรภุมฺ อุทฺทิศฺย คายต วาทยต จฯ
20 Giving thanks always for all things to God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
สรฺวฺวทา สรฺวฺววิษเย'สฺมตฺปฺรโภ ยีโศ: ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย นามฺนา ตาตมฺ อีศฺวรํ ธนฺยํ วทตฯ
21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
ยูยมฺ อีศฺวราทฺ ภีตา: สนฺต อเนฺย'ปเรษำ วศีภูตา ภวตฯ
22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
เห โยษิต: , ยูยํ ยถา ปฺรโภสฺตถา สฺวสฺวสฺวามิโน วศงฺคตา ภวตฯ
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
ยต: ขฺรีษฺโฏ ยทฺวตฺ สมิเต รฺมูรฺทฺธา ศรีรสฺย ตฺราตา จ ภวติ ตทฺวตฺ สฺวามี โยษิโต มูรฺทฺธาฯ
24 Therefore as the church is subject to Christ, so let wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
อต: สมิติ รฺยทฺวตฺ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย วศีภูตา ตทฺวทฺ โยษิทฺภิรปิ สฺวสฺวสฺวามิโน วศตา สฺวีกรฺตฺตวฺยาฯ
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
อปรญฺจ เห ปุรุษา: , ยูยํ ขฺรีษฺฏ อิว สฺวสฺวโยษิตฺสุ ปฺรียธฺวํฯ
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
ส ขฺรีษฺโฏ'ปิ สมิเตา ปฺรีตวานฺ ตสฺยา: กฺฤเต จ สฺวปฺราณานฺ ตฺยกฺตวานฺ ยต: ส วาเกฺย ชลมชฺชเนน ตำ ปริษฺกฺฤตฺย ปาวยิตุมฺ
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
อปรํ ติลกวลฺยาทิวิหีนำ ปวิตฺรำ นิษฺกลงฺกาญฺจ ตำ สมิตึ เตชสฺวินีํ กฺฤตฺวา สฺวหเสฺต สมรฺปยิตุญฺจาภิลษิตวานฺฯ
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
ตสฺมาตฺ สฺวตนุวตฺ สฺวโยษิติ เปฺรมกรณํ ปุรุษโสฺยจิตํ, เยน สฺวโยษิติ เปฺรม กฺริยเต เตนาตฺมเปฺรม กฺริยเตฯ
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
โก'ปิ กทาปิ น สฺวกียำ ตนุมฺ ฤตียิตวานฺ กินฺตุ สรฺเวฺว ตำ วิภฺรติ ปุษฺณนฺติ จฯ ขฺรีษฺโฏ'ปิ สมิตึ ปฺรติ ตเทว กโรติ,
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
ยโต วยํ ตสฺย ศรีรสฺยางฺคานิ มำสาสฺถีนิ จ ภวาม: ฯ
31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
เอตทรฺถํ มานว: สฺวมาตาปิตโร ปริตฺยชฺย สฺวภารฺยฺยายามฺ อาสํกฺษฺยติ เตา เทฺวา ชนาเวกางฺเคา ภวิษฺยต: ฯ
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
เอตนฺนิคูฒวากฺยํ คุรุตรํ มยา จ ขฺรีษฺฏสมิตี อธิ ตทฺ อุจฺยเตฯ
33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
อเตอว ยุษฺมากมฺ เอไกโก ชน อาตฺมวตฺ สฺวโยษิติ ปฺรียตำ ภารฺยฺยาปิ สฺวามินํ สมาทรฺตฺตุํ ยตตำฯ
