Deuteronomy 24

1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it shall come to pass that she findeth no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

ئەگەر پیاوێک ژنێکی هێنا و پەسەند نەبوو لەبەرچاوی، چونکە بێ ئابڕووییەکی تێدا بینی و تەڵاقنامەی بۆ نووسی و دایە دەستی، لە ماڵەکەی خۆی بەڕێی کرد،

2 And when she hath departed from his house, she may go and be another man’s wife.

ئەویش کە لە ماڵەکەی چووە دەرەوە، بووە ژنی پیاوێکی دیکە،

3 And if the latter husband shall hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house; or if the latter husband shall die, who took her to be his wife;

جا ئەگەر پیاوەکەی دووەم ڕقی لێی بووەوە و تەڵاقنامەی بۆ نووسی و دایە دەستی و لە ماڵەکەی خۆی بەڕێی کرد، یان ئەگەر پیاوەکەی دووەم کە هێنابووی مرد،

4 Her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

ئەوا مێردەکەی یەکەمی کە تەڵاقی دابوو ناتوانێت بیهێنێتەوە بۆ ئەوەی ببێتە ژنی دوای ئەوەی گڵاو بووە. ئەوە شتێکی قێزەونە لەلای یەزدان، جا گوناه مەهێنە سەر ئەو خاکەی یەزدانی پەروەردگارت بە میرات دەتداتێ.

5 When a man hath newly taken a wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer his wife whom he hath taken.

ئەگەر پیاوێک ژنی هێنا ئەوا هەتا ساڵێک بۆ سەربازی ناچێت و هیچ لێپرسراویەتییەکی لەسەر شان نابێت، ئەو ساڵە لە ماڵەکەی ئازاد دەبێت و ژنەکەی دڵخۆش دەکات.

6 No man shall take the lower or the upper millstone for a pledge: for he taketh a man’s life for a pledge.

نابێت کەس دەستاڕ، تەنانەت بەرداشێکی بکاتە بارمتە، چونکە سەرچاوەی بژێوییە.

7 If a man shall be found stealing from any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and shall make merchandise of him, or sell him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt remove evil from among you.

ئەگەر پیاوێک لە کاتی ڕفاندنی یەکێک لە براکانی لە نەوەی ئیسرائیل بگیردرێت و وەک کۆیلە هەڵسوکەوتی لەگەڵ کرد یان فرۆشتی، ئەوا کابرای ڕفێنەر دەبێت بمرێت، جا خراپەکە لەنێو خۆتان دادەماڵن.

8 Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do.

لە کاتی نەخۆشی گولی زۆر ئاگاداربن و بەگوێرەی هەموو ئەوەی کاهینە لێڤییەکان فێرتان دەکەن ئاوا بکەن، ئەوەی من فەرمانم بەوان کردووە ئێوە بیکەن.

9 Remember what the LORD thy God did to Miriam by the way, after that ye had come forth from Egypt.

لە یادتان بێت یەزدانی پەروەردگارتان لە ڕێگا چی بە مریەم کرد، پاش ئەوەی لە میسر هاتنە دەرەوە.

10 When thou dost lend thy brother any thing, thou shalt not go into his house to take his pledge.

ئەگەر قەرزت بە دراوسێکەت دا، مەچۆ ماڵەکەی هەتا شتێکی ماڵەکەی بکەیتە بارمتە،

11 Thou shalt stand outside, and the man to whom thou dost lend shall bring out the pledge outside to thee.

لە دەرەوە دەوەستیت و ئەو پیاوەی قەرزی پێدەدەیت بارمتەکەت بۆ دەهێنێتە دەرەوە.

12 And if the man is poor, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge:

ئەگەر کابرا هەژار بوو با بارمتەکە بۆ شەو لەلات نەمێنێتەوە،

13 In any case thou shalt deliver to him the pledge again when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness to thee before the LORD thy God.

لەگەڵ ئاوابوونی خۆر بارمتەکەی بۆ بگەڕێنەوە هەتا لەناو جلوبەرگەکەی بنووێت و داوای بەرەکەتت بۆ بکات و بۆت ببێتە کارێکی ڕاست لەلای یەزدانی پەروەردگارت.

14 Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he is of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates:

زوڵم لە کرێگرتەیەکی هەژار و نەدار مەکە، کە لە براکانت بێت یان لەو نامۆیانەی لە یەکێک لە شارۆچکەکانی خاکەکەتن.

15 At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he should cry against thee to the LORD, and it be sin to thee.

لە ڕۆژی خۆی کرێیەکەی دەدەیتێ، پێش ئاوابوونی خۆر، چونکە هەژارە و بۆ ئەمە خۆی هەڵگرتووە، نەوەک لەسەر تۆ هاوار بۆ یەزدان بکات، جا دەبێت بە گوناه بەسەرتەوە.

16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

باوک لە جیاتی کوڕ ناکوژرێت و کوڕ لە جیاتی باوک ناکوژرێت، هەر یەکێک لەسەر گوناهی خۆی دەکوژرێت.

17 Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow’s raiment for a pledge:

نامۆ و هەتیو لە دادپەروەری بێبەش مەکە، جلوبەرگی بێوەژن مەکە بارمتە،

18 But thou shalt remember that thou wast a slave in Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee from there: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

لە یادت نەچێت کە تۆش لە میسر کۆیلە بوویت و یەزدانی پەروەردگارت لەوێ تۆی کڕییەوە، بۆیە من فەرمانت پێدەدەم ئەم کارە بکەیت.

19 When thou cuttest down thy harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thy hands.

کاتێک لە کێڵگەکەت خەریکی دروێنەکردنیت و دەسکێکت لە کێڵگە لەبیر چوو، مەگەڕێوە بۆ ئەوەی بیبەیتەوە، ئەوە بۆ نامۆ و هەتیو و بێوەژن دەبێت، تاکو یەزدانی پەروەردگارت لە هەموو کاری دەستت بەرەکەتدارت بکات.

20 When thou beatest thy olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

لە کاتی ڕاتەکاندنی دار زەیتوونەکەت، بەدوای ئەوانەدا مەچووەوە کە لە لقەکاندا ماوەتەوە، ئەوە بۆ نامۆ و هەتیو و بێوەژن دەبێت.

21 When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

کاتێک ترێی ڕەزە مێوەکەت دەڕنیت، پاشماوەکەی هەڵمەگرەوە، ئەوە بۆ نامۆ و هەتیو و بێوەژن دەبێت،

22 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a slave in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

لە یادت نەچێت تۆش لە خاکی میسر کۆیلە بوویت، بۆیە من فەرمانت پێدەدەم ئەم کارە بکەیت.
