Acts 18
1 After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;
১ইয়াৰ পাছত পৌলে আথিনী এৰি কৰিন্থলৈ গ’ল।
2 ( And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome: ) and he came to them.
২তাতে তেওঁ পন্ত দেশত জন্মা আক্কিলা নামৰ এজন ইহুদীক দেখা পালে; সেই সময়ত তেওঁ, তেওঁৰ ভার্যা প্ৰিষ্কিলাক লৈ ইটালী দেশৰ পৰা আহিছিল, কাৰণ ক্লৌদিয়ই সকলো ইহুদীকে ৰোম এৰি যাবলৈ নির্দেশ দিছিল। পৌল তেওঁলোকৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিল।
3 And because he was of the same trade, he abode with them, and worked: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.
৩তেওঁলোক যিহেতু ব্যৱসায়ত পৌলৰ দৰে তম্বু বনোৱা লোক আছিল, সেয়েহে পৌলে তেওঁলোকৰ লগতে থাকি কাম কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
৪প্রত্যেক বিশ্রামবাৰে পৌলে নাম-ঘৰত যুক্তি-পৰামর্শৰে ইহুদী আৰু গ্রীক সকলক বিশ্ৱাস কৰিবলৈ প্রত্যয় জন্মায়।
5 And when Silas and Timothy had come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.
৫চীল আৰু তীমথিয় মাকিদনিয়া দেশৰ পৰা অহাৰ পাছত পৌলে আত্মাৰ দ্বাৰা অনুপ্রাণিত হৈ ঘোষণা কৰিলে আৰু ইহুদী সকলৰ আগত যীচুৱেই যে খ্রীষ্ট হয়, সেই সাক্ষ্য দিলে
6 And when they opposed them, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said to them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go to the Gentiles.
৬যেতিয়া ইহুদী সকলে পৌলৰ বিৰুদ্ধাচৰণ কৰি তেওঁক অপমান কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে, তেতিয়া পৌলে তেওঁলোকৰ ফালে নিজৰ কাপোৰ জোকাৰি ক’লে, “আপোনালোকৰ তেজৰ দায় আপোনালোকৰ মূৰৰ ওপৰতে থাকক; মই নিৰ্দোষী। এতিয়াৰ পৰা মই অনা-ইহুদী সকলৰ ওচৰলৈ যাওঁ।”
7 And he departed from there, and entered into the house of a certain man named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house was next to the synagogue.
৭পাছত, তেওঁ তাৰ পৰা গৈ ঈশ্বৰৰ উপাসনা কৰা তীত-যুষ্ট নামেৰে এজনৰ ঘৰত উপস্থিত হ’ল৷ তেওঁৰ ঘৰ নাম-ঘৰৰ কাষতে আছিল।
8 And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.
৮পৌলৰ কথা শুনি নাম-ঘৰৰ অধিকাৰী ক্ৰীষ্পে আৰু তেওঁৰ ঘৰৰ সকলোৱে প্ৰভুত বিশ্বাস কৰি বাপ্তিস্ম গ্ৰহণ কৰিলে৷ কৰিন্থীয়া সকলৰ মাজৰ বহুলোকে তেওঁৰ পৰা শুভবাৰ্তা শুনি বাপ্তিস্ম গ্ৰহণ কৰিলে।
9 Then the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:
৯প্ৰভুৱে ৰাতি পৌলক দৰ্শন দি কলে “তুমি ভয় নকৰিবা, মনে মনে নাথাকি, প্ৰচাৰ কৰা;
10 For I am with thee, and no man shall lay hands on thee to hurt thee: for I have many people in this city.
১০মই তোমাৰ লগত আছোঁ, কোনেও তোমাক হানি কৰিব নোৱাৰে, মোৰ বহু লোক এই নগৰত আছে৷’’
11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.
১১তাতে পৌলে এবছৰ ছয় মাহ তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত থাকি ঈশ্বৰৰ বাক্য শিকালে।
12 And when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, the Jews made insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgment seat,
১২তেতিয়া গাল্লিয়ো আখায়া দেশৰ অধিপতি হৈ থকা সময়ত ইহুদী সকলে, পৌলৰ বিপক্ষে উঠি, তেওঁক বিচাৰৰ আসনৰ সন্মূখলৈ আনিলে;
13 Saying, This man persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the law.
১৩তেওঁলোকে কলে, “এই লোক জনে বিধানৰ বিৰুদ্ধে গৈ ঈশ্বৰৰ উপাসনা কৰিবলৈ মানুহবোৰক উচটনি দিছে।”
14 And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said to the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked crimes, O ye Jews, reason would that I should bear with you:
১৪পৌলে যেতিয়া কথা কবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰিলে, তেতিয়া গাল্লিয়োৱে ইহুদী সকলৰ উদ্দেশ্যে কলে, “হে ইহুদী সকল, এয়ে অন্যায় বা আপত্তি জনক গোচৰ হোৱা হলে, মই তোমালোকৰ ওজৰ আপত্তি মানিলো হয়।
15 But if it is a question of words and names, and of your law, look ye to it; for I will be no judge of such matters.
১৫কিন্তু এই সকলো প্ৰশ্ন তোমালোকৰ বাক্য, নাম বা বিধানৰ বাদ-বিচাৰৰ কাৰণেহে ব্যৱহাৰ হয়, তেনেহলে এই বিষয়ে তোমালোকে নিজে বিচাৰ কৰি চাবা, এই বিষয়ে বিচাৰ কৰিবলৈ মই উৎসাহিত নহওঁ৷”
16 And he drove them from the judgment seat.
১৬পাছত গেল্লিয়োৱে তেওঁলোকক বিচাৰৰ আসনৰ পৰা আতৰ কৰিলে।
17 Then all the Greeks took Sosthenes, the chief ruler of the synagogue, and beat him before the judgment seat. And Gallio cared for none of those things.
১৭তাতে তেওঁলোকে নাম-ঘৰৰ অধিকাৰী চোস্থিনিক বলপূর্ব্বক ধৰি আনি বিচাৰৰ আসনৰ ওচৰত মাৰধৰ কৰিলে, সিহঁতে কৰা কামবোৰত গাল্লিয়োৱে মনোযোগ নিদিলে।
18 And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and took his leave of the brethren, and sailed from there into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.
১৮পৌলে, সেই ঠাইতে বহু দিনলৈকে থাকি, ভাই সকলৰ পৰা বিদায় লৈ সাগৰীয় পথেদি চিৰিয়া দেশলৈ যাত্ৰা কৰিলে; তেওঁৰ লগত প্ৰিষ্কিলা আৰু আক্কিলাও গ’ল৷ তেওঁ কিংক্ৰিয়াত নিজৰ মূৰ খুৰাইছিল; কিয়নো তেওঁৰ কোনো সংকল্প আছিল।
19 And he came to Ephesus, and left them there: but he himself entered into the synagogue, and reasoned with the Jews.
১৯ইয়াৰ পাছত তেওঁলোক যেতিয়া ইফিচ নগৰ পালে, প্ৰিষ্কিলা আৰু আক্কিলাক তাতে থাকিবলৈ দি পৌলে নিজে নাম-ঘৰত সোমাই ইহুদী সকলে সৈতে বাদ-বিচাৰ কৰিলে।
20 When they desired him to tarry longer time with them, he consented not;
২০তাতে আৰু কিছুদিন থাকিবলৈ তেওঁলোকে পৌলক অনুৰোধ কৰিলে, কিন্তু তেওঁ অমান্তি হল।
21 But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return to you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.
২১“ঈশ্বৰৰ ইচ্ছা হলে আপোনালোকৰ ওচৰলৈ আকৌ আহিম৷” এই বুলি কৈ, সাগৰীয় পথেদি ইফিচলৈ যাবৰ বাবে জাহাজেৰে যাত্ৰা কৰিলে।
22 And when he had landed at Caesarea, and gone up, and greeted the church, he went down to Antioch.
২২পাছত চীজাৰিয়াত নামি, যিৰূচালেমলৈ গৈ মণ্ডলীক আন্তৰিক অভিনন্দন জনাই, তাৰ পৰা আন্তিয়খিয়ালৈ আহিল।
23 And after he had spent some time there, he departed, and went over all the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.
২৩তেওঁ কিছুদিন তাতে থাকি, তাৰ পৰা গালাতীয়া আৰু ফিৰুগিয়া দেশেদি ফুৰি ফুৰি সকলো শিষ্যক উৎসাহিত কৰিলে।
24 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.
২৪সেই সময়ত আপল্লো নামেৰে এজন ইহুদী মানুহ ইফিচলৈ আহিছিল৷ তেওঁ আলেকজেন্দ্ৰিয়া নিবাসী, এজন সুবক্তা আৰু ধৰ্মশাস্ত্ৰৰ বিষয়বোৰত নিপূণ আছিল।
25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spoke and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.
২৫তেওঁ যোহনৰ বাপ্তিস্মৰ বিষয়ে শিক্ষা পাইছিল আৰু আত্মাত উৎসাহিত হৈ ঈশ্বৰৰ বাক্য বিশদৰূপে ঘোষণা কৰিছিল; কিন্তু তেওঁ যোহনৰ বাপ্তিস্মৰ বিষয়েহে জানিছিল।
26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him, and expounded to him the way of God more perfectly.
২৬পাছত তেওঁ নাম-ঘৰত সাহসেৰে প্ৰচাৰ কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে; তেতিয়া প্ৰিষ্কিলা আৰু আক্কিলাই তেওঁৰ এই কথা শুনাত, তেওঁক তেওঁলোকৰ ওচৰলৈ লৈ আহিল আৰু ঈশ্বৰৰ পথৰ বিষয়ে বিশদভাবে বুজাই দিলে।
27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he had come, helped them much who had believed through grace:
২৭যেতিয়া তেওঁ আখায়া দেশলৈ যাব বিছাৰিলে; ভাই সকলে উৎসাহ দি তেওঁক আদৰি লবলৈ শিষ্য সকললৈ পত্ৰ লিখি প্ৰেৰণ কৰিলে; তাতে তেওঁ সেই ঠাই পোৱাত অনুগ্ৰহৰ দ্বাৰাই বিশ্বাস কৰা সকলক মহৎ উপকাৰ সাধন কৰিলে।
28 For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publicly, showing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.
২৮কিয়নো যীচু যে খ্ৰীষ্ট হয়, তেওঁ শাস্ত্ৰৰ দ্বাৰাই এই বিষয়ে প্ৰমাণ কৰি দেখুৱালে, তাতে তেওঁ সবর্বসাধাৰণৰ আগত ইহুদী সকলৰ আপত্তি খণ্ডন কৰিলে।
