< 2 Corinthians 11 >
1 O that ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.
Ta guutha eeyatethaa hintte ha77ika dandda7ana gada qoppays; hayyana dandda7ite.
2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
Xoossay hinttew qoppidaysssada, takka hinttew qoppays. Taani hinttena geeshsha geela7ida issi addiya, Kiristtoosas immanaw oychcha wothas.
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his craftiness, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Shin shooshay ba geniyan Hewaano balethidayssada ooni eri hintte wozanay iitidi Kiristtoosas de7iya hintte suuretethaanne geeshshatethaa agganddetii gada hirggays.
4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
Issi asi yidi, nuuni hinttew markkattida Yesuusappe hara Yesuusa hinttew markkatiko, woykko hintte ekkida Ayyaanaappenne Wonggelaappe hara ayyaananne Wonggelaa hinttew odikko, si7i gidi ekkeeta.
5 For I suppose I was not a bit behind the very greatest apostles.
Shin taani Yesuus kiittida “Gita hawaaretappe” guuxays gada qoppike.
6 But though I am rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been thoroughly made evident among you in all things.
Taani oda eronna asi gidikkoka, eratethi taw de7ees. Hessa ta hinttew daro ogen qonccisas.
7 Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God without charge?
Taani miishe oychchonna Xoossaa Wonggelaa hinttew coo odidaysinne hinttena dhoqqu oothada tana toochchidayssi taw nagara gidi?
8 I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.
Taani hinttew oothanaw hara woosa keethatappe miishe bonqa ekkas.
9 And when I was present with you, and in need, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome to you, and so will I keep myself.
Ta hinttera de7iya wode tana metinkka hinttefe issi asikka waaysabiikke. Maqedooniyappe yida ammaneyssati tana koshshiyaba ubban maaddidosona. Hachchi gakkanaw ta hinttew tooho gidabiikke sinthaskka tooho gidikke.
10 As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
Kiristtoosa tumatethay tanan de7ishin, ta ceequwa Akkaya biittan tana oonikka diggenna.
11 Why? because I love you not? God knoweth.
Ta hayssa ays gaynaa? Hinttena dosonna gishosseyye? Taani hinttena doseyssa Xoossay erees.
12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them who desire occasion; that in what they glory, they may be found even as we.
Nukka entta mela oothoos yaagidi ceeqqiya hankko hawaareta ceequwa gaasuwa dhayssanaw ha77i ta ootheyssa sinthaskka oothana.
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
Hayssa mela asati Kiristtoosa hawaare daananaw banttana laammiya worddanchcho hawaaretanne cimmiya oosanchchota.
14 And no wonder; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Hessi malaalisiyabaa gidenna; ays giikko, Xalahey poo7o kiitanchcho daananaw bana laammees.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also are transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Hessa gisho, Xalahe oosanchchoti xillotethaa oosanchchota daananaw banttana laammiko hessi gitabaa gidenna. Entti wurssethan bantta oosuwada ekkana.
16 I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.
Oonikka tana eeya gidi qopponna mela zaaradakka odays. Ta hinttew eeya daanikkoka ta guuthara ceeqettana mela tana eeya oothidi ekkite.
17 That which I speak, I speak it not according to the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.
Taani hayssada ceeqettada odettey, Godaa koyeyssada gidonnashin, eeyatethan odays.
18 Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.
Daro asay ha sa7aaban ceeqettey gisho, takka ceeqettana.
19 For ye bear with fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise.
Hintte wozanaama gidiya gisho, eeya asabaa ufayssan dandda7eeta.
20 For ye bear with it, if a man bringeth you into bondage, if a man devoureth you, if a man taketh from you, if a man exalteth himself, if a man smiteth you on the face.
Oonikka hinttena aylleykko woykko hinttena bonqiko woykko baw maadettanaw hintteko shiiqikko woykko hintte bolla otortiko woykko hinttena baqqiko hintte dandda7eeta.
21 I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. But in whatever respect any is bold, (I speak foolishly, ) I am bold also.
Nuuni hessa oothanaw daro daaburanchcho gideyssa yeellatashe ta odays. Shin oonikka minnidi ceeqqettiko, takka ceeqqettanaw minnays. Taani hessa eeya asada odettays.
22 Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.
Entti Ibraawe? Takka Ibraawe. Entti Isra7eele? Takka Isra7eele. Entti Abrahaame sheeshee? Takka Abrahaame sheeshi.
23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool ) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths often.
Entti Kiristtoosa oosanachcho? Taani gooyiya asada odays, enttafe aadhdhiya Kiristtoosa oosanchcho. Taani ooson daro daaburas; daro wode qashettas; garaafettas; daro wode hayqoppe attas.
24 From the Jews five times I received forty stripes less one.
Ayhudeti tana hasttamanne uddufuna ichchashu toho garaafidosona.
25 Three times was I beaten with rods, once I was stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;
Heedzu toho xam77an shocettas; issi toho shuchchan cadettas; markkabey heedzu toho me77is; abbaa giddon issi qamma kumethi aqada pee7as.
26 In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by my own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;
Taani daro ogiya daaburan hamuttas. Kixa haathafenne panggafe attas. Ayhudetinne Ayhude gidonna asay ta bolla meto gathidosona. Katamay, bazzoy, abbay, tana yashshis; ammaniyaa daaniya asati tana waaysidosona.
27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
Taani ooson daaburasinne cawattas, daro toho dhiskko dhayas, koshattas, saamottas, daro toho xoomas, meegettas, kallottas.
28 Besides those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.
Haraba ubbaa taybonna ubba wode tana qofisey woosa keethatabaa.
29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is led into sin, and I am not incensed?
Issi asi daaburiya wode iyara ta daaburabiikinna? Issi asi nagaran dhubettiya wode ta awude qiirottonna aggadina?
30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern my infirmities.
Ta ceeqettanaw koshshiyabaa gidikko taani daaburanchcho gideyssa erisiyaban ceeqettana.
31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not. (aiōn )
Merinaw bonchchettida Xoossay, nu Godaa Yesuus Kiristtoosa Aaway, ta worddotonnayssa erees. (aiōn )
32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:
Damasqqo kataman Aretaasa giya kawuwappe garssara haareyssi tana oythanaw koyidi Damasqqo katamaa penggiya naagisis.
33 And through a window in a basket I was let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
Shin asay tana daachchon yeggidi, katamaa dirssaa maskkootiyara wodhisin taani iya kushiyappe attas.
