< 1 Corinthians 2 >
1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God.
Sopite ho, keima nahenguva kahung masat chun Pathen in guhthima athilgon kasei phongna dingah thugiltah ho le ngainom nom chihguh thusei naho kamangchapoi.
2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
Ijeh ham itileh keima nangho toh kana umkhom pet chun, thildang jouse suhmila, thingpela kikhenbeh Yeshua Christa thubou chu kagel dinga kalunggon ahitai.
3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
Thalhomtah in naheng uvah kichageu le kithing pumin kana hungin ahi.
4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
Chule kathupoh le kathu seiphong chu hetbai lamtah ahi. Chingkeo leh ngehtuntun'a thuseina neilouvin Lhagao Theng thahatna bou kana songin ahi.
5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Hiche kabol hi nanghon mihem chihna chu tahsan louva Pathen thahatna natahsan johna ding'uva kabol ahi.
6 However we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: (aiōn )
Hijongleh keima apilhingsa tahsan ho lah a kaum tengleh, keiman chihna thu panin kaseiyin, hiche vannoiya chihna tobang ahilouleh chomkah louva kisumilji vannoi vaipohoa tobang'in kaseipoi. (aiōn )
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world to our glory: (aiōn )
Ahipoi, keihon chihna thu kaseiyu hi Pathen thuguh ana kiselguh chu ahi–akiselguh atil a kiphongdoh khaloulai, vannoi kibulphudoh masanga eiho iloupina diuva atohgon ana umsa chu ahi. (aiōn )
8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn )
Hinlah hiche vannoi vaipoten ahethei hihbeh uve, hetaveleu, amahon loupi Pakai chu thingpel a akhetbeh louhel dingu ahi. (aiōn )
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
Hiche chu ahi Pathen lekhabun, “Koima mit nin amulou le koima nakolin ajah khahlou chule koima lunga jong kondoh khalou Pathen in Ama ngailu ho dinga agonsa ahi” tia asei chu.
10 But God hath revealed them to us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, even, the deep things of God.
Hinlah eiho hengah Pathen in hicheho chu a-Lhagaovin eihil tauvin ahi. Ijeh inem itileh Lhagaovin ijakai akholdoh a chule Pathen thuguhho chu eivetsah u ahitai.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, except the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Koiman mikhat lunggel ahepoi, amipa lhagao bouvin akihet ahi, chule koiman Pathen lunggel ahepoi, Pathen Lhagao bouvin ahet ahi.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God; that we may know the things that are freely given to us by God.
Chule eihon Pathen Lhagao ikisan tauve (vannoi lhagao ahipoi), hijeh a chu Pathen in manbeiya eipeh u thil kidangtah ho chu ihet theiyu ahi.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Spirit teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
Keihon hiche ho kaseipeh uhi, mihem chihna thuchengho mang'ah kahi pouve. Chusangin, Lhagaovin eipeh u thucheng kamang chauve, Lhagao thutah ho chu Lhagao thuchenga kahilchet jiu ahi.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Hinlah Lhagao lam gellou ho chun Pathen Lhagaova kona thudih ho chu asangthei pouve. Amahon ngolthua agel jeh uvin ahethei hihbeh uve, ijeh inem itileh lhagao lam gelkhoh ho bouvin Lhagao sei chu ahe theiye.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged by no man.
Lhagao lam gel hon imajouse aman lutdan ageldoh theiyun, hinlah amaho tah chu koiman amanlut dan'u geldohna aneithei pouve.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
Ijeh inem itileh, “Koiham Pakai lung ngaito hea, koiham Ama hiltheina geiya hetna neiya chu?” Hinlah eihon hicheho jouse hi ihe tauve, ajehchu eihon Christa lunggel chu ihetauve.
