< 1 Corinthians 15 >

1 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also ye have received, and in which ye stand;
Nawkamyanawk, kahoih tamthanglok to nangcae khaeah ka taphong, ka thuih ih kahoih tamthanglok to na talawk o moe, nang doet o haih boeh;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached to you, unless ye have believed in vain.
kang thuih o ih kahoih to tamthanglok to kacakah na tapom o nahaeloe, to kahoih tamthanglok hoiah ni pahlong ah na oh o, to tih ai nahaeloe na tang o haih to azom pui ah ni om tih.
3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
Ka talawk ih kahoih tamthanglok to kang thuih o hmaloe; Cabunawk mah thuih ih baktih toengah, Kri loe aicae zaehaih pongah duek;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Anih loe aphum ah oh moe, Cabunawk mah thuih ih baktih toengah Anih loe ni thumto naah angthawk let:
5 And that he was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve:
Anih to Kipha mah hnuk, to pacoengah kami hatlai hnetto mah doeh hnuk o:
6 After that, he was seen by more than five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain to this present, but some have fallen asleep.
to pacoengah anih to cumvai pangato pong kapop nawkamyanawk mah nawnto hnuk o; nihcae thung ih thoemto kaminawk loe vaihi khoek to hing o vop, toe thoemto kaminawk loe duek o boeh.
7 After that, he was seen by James; then by all the apostles.
To pacoengah Jakob mah Anih to hnuk, to pacoengah patoeh ih kaminawk boih mah hnuk o.
8 And last of all he was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.
Hnukkhuem koekah loe atue pha ai naah tapen baktiah kaom, kai mah doeh Anih to ka hnuk.
9 For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
Kai loe patoeh ih kaminawk thungah kathoeng koekah ka oh, Sithaw kricaabu ka pacaekthlaek pongah, kai loe patoeh ih kami, tiah kawk han doeh kam cuk ai.
10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
Toe Sithaw tahmenhaih rang hoiah vaihi ka oh baktih toengah ka oh thaih: ka nuiah ang paek ih tahmenhaih loe azom pui ai; toe kai loe nihcae boih pongah tok ka sak pop kue: to tiah om cadoeh kai mah ka sah ai, kai hoi nawnto kaom Sithaw tahmenhaih mah ni sak.
11 Therefore whether it was I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
To pongah kai mah doeh, to tih ai boeh loe nihcae mah doeh lok to kang taphong o baktiah, nangcae mah doeh na tang o boeh.
12 Now if Christ is preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
Kri loe duekhaih thung hoi vaihi angthawk boeh, tiah kang thuih o boeh, toe kawbangmaw nangcae thung ih thoemto kaminawk mah loe kadueh kami angthawk lethaih om ai, tiah thuih o?
13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
Kadueh kami angthawk lethaih om ai nahaeloe, Kri loe angthawk let ai, tih haih ih ni.
14 And if Christ is not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
Duekhaih thung hoi Kri angthawk let ai nahaeloe, aicae mah taphong ih lok loe azom pui ah om ueloe, nangcae tanghaih doeh azom pui ah ni om tih.
15 And indeed, we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified concerning God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not, if in fact the dead rise not.
Ue, kadueh kami angthawk let ai nahaeloe, anih loe duekhaih thung hoi angthawk let ai to mah, Sithaw mah Kri to duekhaih thung hoi pathawk let boeh, tiah kang thuih o pongah, kaicae loe Sithaw hnukung amsawn ah ni ka om o tih.
16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
Kadueh kami angthawk let ai nahaeloe, Kri doeh angthawk let ai, tih haih ih ni.
17 And if Christ is not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
Kri angthawk let ai nahaeloe, nangcae tanghaih loe azom pui ah ni oh; nangcae loe nangmacae zaehaih thungah ni na oh o vop.
18 Then they also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
To pacoengah Kri ah iip kaminawk doeh anghmaa angtaa o boeh.
19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
A tawnh o ih Kri oephaih loe hae long nuiah hing nathung han khue ah om nahaeloe, aicae loe kaminawk boih pongah kamtang koekah ni a oh o.
20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
Toe Kri loe vaihi duekhaih hoi angthawk let boeh pongah, anih loe iip kaminawk ih thingthai tangsuek ah oh.
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
Kami rang hoiah duekhaih angzoh baktih toengah, kadueh angthawk lethaih doeh kami rang hoiah ni angzoh.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Adam ah kami boih duek baktih toengah, Kri ah kami boih hing o toeng tih.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
Toe Kri loe kathai tangsuek thingthai ah oh; Anih angzoh naah Kri ah kaom kaminawk loe, angmacae ih atue phak naah angthawk o let tih.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
Anih mah ukhaih, sakthaihaih hoi thacakhaihnawk pazawk boih pacoengah, long boenghaih to om tih, to naah ukhaih prae to Ampa, Sithaw khaeah paek tih.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
A misanawk a khok tlim ah suem boih ai karoek to Anih mah uk tih.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
Hnukkhuem koekah pazawk han ih misa loe duekhaih to ni.
27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is evident that he is excepted, who did put all things under him.
Anih mah hmuennawk to a khok tlim ah suek boih boeh. Toe hmuennawk boih Anih tlim ah suek boeh, tiah Anih mah thuih naah, hmuennawk boih Anih khok tlim ah Suemkung, Anih thuih koehhaih ih na ai ni, tito amtueng.
28 And when all things shall be subdued to him, then shall the Son also himself be subject to him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
Hmuennawk boih Anih tlim ah suek pacoengah, Sithaw loe tih boih boih ih Sithaw ah oh thai hanah, Capa loe hmuennawk boih Anih tlim ah Suemkung khaeah, angmah hoi angmah to ang paek tih.
29 Else what shall they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
Kadueh kami angthawk ai nahaeloe, kadueh kaminawk han tuinuem kaminawk loe kawbangmaw om o tih? Tipongah kadueh kaminawk hanah tui a nuem pae o loe?
30 And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
Tipongah aicae loe ni thokkruek zithaih hoiah kho a sak o loe?
31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
Kai loe ni thokkruek ka duek, aicae Angraeng Kri Jesu ah ka tawnh ih nangcae anghoehaih rang hoiah, ka thui thaih.
32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
Kadueh kami angthawkhaih om ai nahaeloe, kaminawk ih khosakhaih baktiah, Efisa vangpui ah kasan moinawk hoi kang panhaih to tih atho maw om tih? Aicae loe khawnbangah a duek o han boeh pongah, Caak moe naek hanah ni a oh o boeh.
33 Be not deceived: evil company corrupteth good habits.
Minawk mah aling thaih koi kami ah om o hmah: kahoih ai kami hoi angkomhaih mah kahoih tuinuen to amrosak.
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
Toenghaih bangah poek cai oh, zaehaih sah o hmah; thoemto kaminawk loe Sithaw panoekhaih tawn o ai: na zat o han ih ni hae lok hae kang thuih o.
35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised? and with what body do they come?
Toe kadueh kami loe kawbangmaw angthawk let tih? Kawbaktih taksa hoiah maw angthawk tih? tiah thoemto kaminawk mah dueng o tih.
36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not made alive, except it die:
Kamthu nang, Na patit ih aanmu loe qong ai ah amprawk thai ai:
37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, perhaps of wheat, or of some other grain:
aanmu na patit naah, akung to na patii ai, cangti doeh, kalah aanmu doeh, amuu to ni na patit:
38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed its own body.
Sithaw mah ni a koeh baktiah akung ah angcoengsak, amu boih angmacae ih amuu baktih toengah akung ah angcoengsak.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
Taksa loe anghmong o boih ai: kami taksa, moi taksa, tanga taksa, tavaa taksa, tiah oh o.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
Van taksa oh baktih toengah, long taksa doeh oh: toe van taksa lensawkhaih to lah moe, long taksa lensawkhaih doeh lah.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
Ni lensawkhaih, khrah lensawkhaih hoi cakaehnawk lensawkhaih to anghmong ai: cakaeh maeto hoi maeto lensawkhaih doeh lah boih.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
Kadueh kami angthawk lethaih doeh to tiah ni oh. Qong hanah patit ih oh baktih toengah, qong ai ah angthawkhaih doeh oh:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
patit naah pakoeh han om ai; angthawk naah loe lensawkhaih hoiah akoep: patit naah thazok; angthawk naah loe thacakhaih hoiah akoep:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
patit naah long taksa ah oh; angthawk naah loe Muithla taksa ah oh. Long taksa oh baktih toengah, Muithla taksa doeh oh.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a living spirit.
Hmaloe koek kami Adam loe hinghaih tawn kami ah oh, tiah tarik ih oh; hnukkhuem koek Adam loe hinghaih paekkung Muithla ah oh.
46 However that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
Toe Muithla taksa to om hmaloe ai, long taksa ni oh hmaloe, to pacoengah ni Muithla taksa to oh vop.
47 The first man is from the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
Hmaloe koek kami loe long hoiah ni sak, to pongah long kami ah oh: hnetto haih kami loe van bang ih Angraeng ah oh.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
Long kaminawk loe, long kami baktiah oh o: van kaminawk loe, van kami baktiah oh o.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
Aicae loe long hoi kaom krang kanghmong ah tapen baktih toengah, van hoi kaom krang hoiah doeh anghmong toeng tih.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Nawkamyanawk, taksa hoi athii mah Sithaw prae toep o thai mak ai; kaqong thaih mah kaqong thai ai to toep thai mak ai, tiah ka thuih.
51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
Tahngai oh, loktamqu kang thuih o han; aicae loe a iip o boih mak ai, aicae loe,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
hnukkhuem koek mongkah to uengh naah, akra ai ah, mik pakhrip nathung amkhraih o boih tih: mongkah uengh naah kadueh kaminawk loe kaqong thai ai ah angthawk o tih, aicae loe amkhraih tih boeh.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
Hae kaqong thaih hmuen hae, kaqong thai ai hmuen mah khuk ueloe, hae kadueh thaih hmuen hae, kadueh thai ai hmuen mah khuk tih.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
Hae kaqong thaih hmuen hae, kaqong thai ai hmuen mah khuk moe, hae kadueh thaih hmuen hae, kadueh thai ai hmuen mah khuk naah loe, Pazawkhaih mah duekhaih to paaeh ving boeh, tiah tarik ih lok to akoep tih boeh.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? (Hadēs g86)
Aw duekhaih, nang ih kasoe loe naah maw oh? Aw taprong na pazawkhaih loe naah maw oh? (Hadēs g86)
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
Zae loe duekhaih kasoe ah oh moe, kaalok loe zae thacakhaih ah oh.
57 But thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Toe aicae Angraeng Jesu Kri rang hoiah pazawkhaih paekung, Sithaw khaeah pakoehaih om nasoe.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
To pongah, palung ih nawkamyanawk, poek amkhrai o hmah, kacakah angdoe oh. Angraeng ih tok to sah o poe ah, Angraeng toksak loe azom pui ai ni, tito panoek oh.
