1 Chronicles 5
1 Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but, forasmuch as he defiled his father’s bed, his birthright was given to the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright.
౧ఇశ్రాయేలుకు పెద్దకొడుకైన రూబేను సంతానం గూర్చిన వివరాలు. ఇతడు పెద్ద కొడుకే గానీ అతని ప్రథమ సంతానపు జన్మహక్కును అతని నుండి తీసివేసి ఇశ్రాయేలుకు మరో కొడుకైన యోసేపు కొడుకులకు బదలాయించడం జరిగింది. ఎందుకంటే రూబేను తన తండ్రి మంచాన్ని అపవిత్రం చేశాడు.
2 For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph’s: )
౨తన సోదరులందరికంటే యూదా ప్రముఖుడు. యూదా వంశంలోనుండే పరిపాలకుడు రానున్నాడు. అయినా ప్రథమ సంతానపు జన్మహక్కు యోసేపు పరమయింది.
3 The sons, I say, of Reuben the firstborn of Israel were, Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.
౩ఇశ్రాయేలుకు పెద్ద కొడుకుగా పుట్టిన రూబేను కొడుకులు ఎవరంటే హనోకు, పల్లూ, హెస్రోను, కర్మీ అనే వారు.
4 The sons of Joel; Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,
౪యోవేలు వారసుల వివరాలిలా ఉన్నాయి. యోవేలు కొడుకు షెమయా, షెమయా కొడుకు గోగు, గోగు కొడుకు షిమీ,
5 Micah his son, Reaia his son, Baal his son,
౫షిమీ కొడుకు మీకా, మీకా కొడుకు రెవాయా, రెవాయా కొడుకు బయలు,
6 Beerah his son, whom Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria carried away captive: he was prince of the Reubenites.
౬బయలు కొడుకు బెయేర. ఇతడు రూబేనీయులకు నాయకుడు. అష్షూరు రాజు తిగ్లత్పిలేసెరు ఇతణ్ణి బందీగా చేసి తీసుకు వెళ్ళాడు.
7 And his brethren by their families, when the genealogy of their generations was reckoned, were the chief, Jeiel, and Zechariah,
౭వాళ్ళ వంశావళి లెక్కల్లో ఉన్న తమ కుటుంబాల ప్రకారం అతని సోదరులెవరంటే ప్రధాని అయిన యెహీయేలూ, జెకర్యా,
8 And Bela the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who dwelt in Aroer, even to Nebo and Baalmeon:
౮యోవేలు కొడుకైన షెమ మనుమడూ ఆజాజు కొడుకూ అయిన బెల అనే వాళ్ళు. వీళ్ళు అరోయేరు లోనూ, నెబో, బయల్మెయోనుల వరకూ నివాసం ఏర్పరచుకున్నారు.
9 And eastward he inhabited to the entrance of the wilderness from the river Euphrates: because their cattle were multiplied in the land of Gilead.
౯వాళ్ళ పశువులు గిలాదు దేశంలో అతి విస్తారమయ్యాయి. కాబట్టి వాళ్ళు తూర్పున యూఫ్రటీసు నది దగ్గరనుండి అరణ్యపు సరిహద్దుల వరకూ నివాసాలు ఏర్పరచుకున్నారు.
10 And in the days of Saul they made war with the Hagarites, who fell by their hand: and they dwelt in their tents throughout all the east land of Gilead.
౧౦సౌలు పరిపాలనా కాలంలో వాళ్ళు హగ్రీ జాతి వారితో యుద్ధం చేసి వాళ్ళను హతమార్చారు. గిలాదు తూర్పు వైపు వరకూ ఉన్న ప్రాంతమంతా నివాసమున్నారు.
11 And the children of Gad dwelt opposite them, in the land of Bashan to Salcah:
౧౧వాళ్ళకెదురుగా ఉన్న బాషాను దేశంలో సలేకా వరకూ గాదు గోత్రం వాళ్ళు నివసించారు.
12 Joel the chief, and Shapham the next, and Jaanai, and Shaphat in Bashan.
౧౨వాళ్ళ నాయకులు యోవేలు, షాపాము అనేవాళ్ళు. వీళ్ళు తమ తమ కుటుంబాల నాయకులు. వీళ్ళ తరువాత షాపాతు, యహనై అనే వాళ్ళు కూడా ఉన్నారు. వీళ్ళు బాషానులో నివసించారు.
13 And their brethren of the house of their fathers were, Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba, and Jorai, and Jachan, and Zia, and Heber, seven.
౧౩వీళ్ళ తండ్రుల వైపు కుటుంబాల బంధువులు మొత్తం ఏడుగురున్నారు. వాళ్ళు మిఖాయేలు, మెషుల్లాము, షేబా, యోరై, యకాను, జీయా, ఏబెరు అనే వాళ్ళు.
14 These are the children of Abihail the son of Huri, the son of Jaroah, the son of Gilead, the son of Michael, the son of Jeshishai, the son of Jahdo, the son of Buz;
౧౪వీళ్ళు హూరీ అనే వాడికి పుట్టిన అబీహాయిలు కొడుకులు. ఈ హూరీ యరోయకీ, యారోయ గిలాదుకీ, గిలాదు మిఖాయేలుకీ, మిఖాయేలు యెషీషైకీ, యెషీషై యహదోకీ, యహదో బూజుకీ పుట్టారు.
15 Ahi the son of Abdiel, the son of Guni, chief of the house of their fathers.
౧౫గూనీకి పుట్టిన అబ్దీయేలు కుమారుడు అహీ వాళ్ళ తండ్రుల కుటుంబాలకు నాయకుడు.
16 And they dwelt in Gilead in Bashan, and in its towns, and in all the common lands of Sharon, upon their borders.
౧౬వారు బాషానులోని గిలాదులోనూ, మిగిలిన ఊళ్లలోనూ, షారోను సరిహద్దుల వరకూ ఉన్న పచ్చని భూముల్లోనూ నివాసమున్నారు.
17 All these were reckoned by genealogies in the days of Jotham king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.
౧౭యూదా రాజు యోతాము కాలంలోనూ ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజు యరొబాము కాలంలోనూ వీళ్ళను వాళ్ళ వంశావళి లెక్కల్లో నమోదు చేశారు.
18 The sons of Reuben, and the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh, of valiant men, men able to bear shield and sword, and to shoot with bow, and skilful in war, were four and forty thousand seven hundred and sixty, that went out to the war.
౧౮రూబేను గోత్రం, గాదు గోత్రం, మనష్షే అర్థ గోత్రం వాళ్ళల్లో బల్లెం, కత్తి పట్టగలిగిన వాళ్ళూ, బాణాలు వేయడంలో నేర్పరులూ, యుద్ధం చేయడానికి సన్నద్ధమైన వాళ్ళూ మొత్తం నలభై నాలుగు వేల ఏడు వందల అరవైమంది ఉన్నారు.
19 And they made war with the Hagarites, with Jetur, and Nephish, and Nodab.
౧౯వీళ్ళు హగ్రీ జాతి వాళ్ళ పైనా, యెతూరు వాళ్ళపైనా, నాపీషు వాళ్ళపైనా, నోదాబు వాళ్ళపైనా దాడులు చేసారు.
20 And they were helped against them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them: for they cried to God in the battle, and he was entreated by them; because they put their trust in him.
౨౦యుద్ధంలో వాళ్ళకు దేవుడు సహాయం చేశాడు. ఈ విధంగా హగ్రీ జాతి వాళ్ళూ, వాళ్ళతో ఉన్న వాళ్ళంతా ఓడిపోయారు. యుద్ధంలో ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు దేవునికి విజ్ఞాపన చేశారు. వాళ్ళు తన పైన నమ్మకముంచారు గనక దేవుడు వాళ్ళ ప్రార్థనను అంగీకరించాడు.
21 And they took away their cattle; of their camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, and of donkeys two thousand, and of men an hundred thousand.
౨౧కాబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు జయించడానికి దేవుడు సహాయం చేశాడు. వాళ్ళు యాభై వేల ఒంటెలనూ, రెండు లక్షల యాభై వేల గొర్రెలనూ, రెండు వేల గాడిదలనూ, లక్ష మంది మనుషులనూ స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు.
22 For there fell down many slain, because the war was of God. And they dwelt in their steads until the captivity.
౨౨దేవుడు యుద్ధంలో వారికి సహాయం చేశాడు గనుక వాళ్ళు అనేక మందిని హతమార్చారు. తరువాత కాలంలో చెరలోకి వెళ్ళేంత వరకూ రూబేను గోత్రం, గాదు గోత్రం, మనష్షే అర్థగోత్రం వాళ్ళంతా హగ్రీ జాతి వాళ్ళ దేశంలోనే నివాసం ఉన్నారు.
23 And the children of the half tribe of Manasseh dwelt in the land: they increased from Bashan to Baalhermon and Senir, and to mount Hermon.
౨౩మనష్షే అర్థగోత్రం వాళ్ళు ఆ బాషాను దేశంలో నివసించి అభివృద్ధి చెందారు. బాషాను నుండి బయల్హెర్మోను వరకూ ఇంకా హెర్మోను పర్వతం అయిన శెనీరు వరకూ వ్యాపించారు.
24 And these were the heads of the house of their fathers, even Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, mighty men of valour, famous men, and heads of the house of their fathers.
౨౪వాళ్ళ కుటుంబాలకు నాయకులు ఎవరంటే ఏఫెరు, ఇషీ, ఎలీయేలు, అజ్రీయేలు, యిర్మీయా, హోదవ్యా, యహదీయేలు అనే వాళ్లు. వీళ్ళు ధైర్యవంతులు, బలవంతులు, ప్రసిద్ధులైన వాళ్ళు. తమ తమ కుటుంబాలకు నాయకులు.
25 And they transgressed against the God of their fathers, and played the harlot with the gods of the people of the land, whom God destroyed before them.
౨౫కానీ వాళ్ళు తమ పూర్వీకుల దేవునిపై తిరుగుబాటు చేశారు. దేవుడు తమ కళ్ళెదుట ఏ జాతులనైతే నాశనం చేశాడో ఆ జాతుల దేవుళ్ళను పూజించారు.
26 And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria, and he carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, and brought them to Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the river Gozan, to this day.
౨౬కాబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడు అష్షూరు రాజు పూలు (అంటే అష్షూరు రాజు తిగ్లత్పిలేసెరు) ను రెచ్చగొట్టాడు. ఆ రాజు రూబేను గోత్రం, గాదు గోత్రం, మనష్షే అర్థగోత్రం వాళ్ళనందర్నీ బందీలుగా హాలహుకీ, హాబోరుకీ, హారాకుకీ, గోజాను నదీ ప్రాంతాలకీ పట్టుకుని పోయాడు. ఈ రోజుకీ వీళ్ళు అక్కడ కనిపిస్తున్నారు.
