< Romans 6 >

1 What then will we say? Should we continue in sin so that grace may abound?
Ania ngarud ti ibagatayo? Agtultuloytayo kadi nga agbasol tapno umado ti parabur?
2 May it never be. We who died to sin, how can we still live in it?
Saan koma. Datayo a natay iti basol, kasano nga agbiagtayo pay latta iti daytoy?
3 Do you not know that as many as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Saanyo kadi nga ammo a ti kaadu iti nabautisaran kenni Cristo Jesus ket nabautisaran iti pannakatayna?
4 We were buried, then, with him through baptism into death. This happened in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so also we might walk in newness of life.
Kaduanatayo ngarud a naitabon babaen iti pannakabautisar iti ipapatay. Napasamak daytoy tapno kas iti pannakapagungar ni Cristo babaen iti dayag ti Ama, kasta met a magnatayo iti kinabaro ti biag.
5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be united with his resurrection.
Ta no nakipagmaymaysatayo kenkuana iti ipapatayna, makipagmaymaysatayonto met iti panagungarna.
6 We know this, that our old man was crucified with him, in order that the body of sin might be destroyed. This happened so that we should no longer be enslaved to sin.
Ammotayo daytoy, a naikrus a kaduana ti daan a kinataotayo, tapno madadael ti bagi ti basol. Napasamak daytoy tapno saantayon nga agbalin a tagabu ti basol.
7 He who has died is declared righteous with respect to sin.
Naibilang a nalinteg ti tao a natay no maipapan iti basol.
8 But if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live together with him.
Ngem no nataytayo a kadua ni Cristo, mamatitayo a makipagbiagtayo met kenkuana.
9 We know that since Christ has been raised from the dead he cannot die again; death no longer has authority over him.
Ammotayo a napagungar ni Jesus manipud kadagiti natay, ken saanen a natay isuna. Saanen nga agturay ti patay kenkuana ni kaanoman.
10 For in regard to the death that he died to sin, he died once for all. However, the life that he lives, he lives for God.
Ta maipapan iti ipapatay a nakatayanna iti basol, natay isuna a naminpinsan para iti amin. Nupay kasta, ti biag a pagbibiaganna, pagbibiaganna daytoy a para iti Dios.
11 In the same way, you also must consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Iti isu met laeng a wagas, masapul met nga ibilangyo dagiti bagbagiyo a natay iti basol, ngem sibibiag iti Dios kenni Cristo Jesus.
12 Therefore do not let sin rule in your mortal body in order that you may obey its lusts.
Ngarud, saanyo nga itulok nga agturay ti basol iti nainlasagan a bagiyo tapno pagtulnoganyo ti gartemna.
13 Do not present the parts of your body to sin, to be tools used for unrighteousness. But present yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life, and present the parts of your body to God as tools to be used for righteousness.
Saanyo nga idatag dagiti paset ti bagiyo iti basol a maaramat iti kinaawan linteg, ngem idatagyo dagiti bagbagiyo iti Dios, kas sibibiag manipud iti patay. Ket idatagyo dagiti paset ti bagiyo a maaramat iti kinalinteg a maipaay iti Dios.
14 Do not allow sin to rule over you. For you are not under law, but under grace.
Saanyo nga ipalubos nga agturay ti basol kadakayo. Ta awankayon iti linteg no di ket iti parabur.
15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law, but under grace? May it never be.
Ania ngaruden? Agbasoltayo kadi gapu ta awantayo iti panangituray ti linteg, ngem iti panangituray ti parabur? Saan koma.
16 Do you not know that the one to whom you present yourselves as slaves is the one to which you are obedient, the one you must obey? This is true whether you are slaves to sin which leads to death, or slaves to obedience which leads to righteousness.
Saanyo kadi nga ammo a ti pangidataganyo iti bagiyo kas adipen, isu dayta ti nagbalinanyo nga adipen, ti rumbeng a pagtulnoganyo? Pudno daytoy nga adipennakayo man ti basol a mangiturong kadakayo iti patay wenno adipennakayo ti panagtulnog a mangiturong kadakayo iti kinalinteg.
17 But thanks be to God! For you were slaves of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart the pattern of teaching that you were given.
Ngem agyamanak iti Dios! Ta nagbalinkayo nga adipen ti basol, ngem nagtulnogkayo a sipupuso iti kita ti sursuro a naited kadakayo.
18 You have been made free from sin, and you have been made slaves of righteousness.
Nawayawayaankayo manipud iti basol, ken napagbalinkayon nga adipen ti kinalinteg.
19 I speak like a man because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented the parts of your body as slaves to uncleanness and to evil, in the same way now, present the parts of your body as slaves to righteousness for sanctification.
Agsasaoak a kas tao gapu iti kinakapuy ti lasagyo. Ta idi indatagyo dagiti paset ti bagiyo kas tagabu iti kinarugit ken iti dakes, iti isu met laeng a wagas ita, idatagyo ti bagiyo a kas tagabu ti kinalinteg para iti pannakapasanto.
20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free from righteousness.
Ta idi adipennakayo ti basol, nawayakayo manipud iti kinalinteg.
21 At that time, what fruit then did you have of the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death.
Iti dayta a tiempo, ania a bunga ti naadda kadakayo manipud kadagiti banbanag nga ibainyo ita? Ta patay ti pagbanagan dagitoy a banbanag.
22 But now that you have been made free from sin and are enslaved to God, you have your fruit for sanctification. The result is eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Ngem ita ta nawayawayaankayon manipud iti basol ken nagbalinkayo a tagabu ti Dios, adda kadakayo ti bungayo para iti pannakapasanto. Agnanayon a biag ti pagbanaganna. (aiōnios g166)
23 For the wages of sin are death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
Ta patay ti bayad ti basol, ngem ti awan bayadna a sagut ti Dios ket agnanayon a biag kenni Cristo Jesus nga Apotayo. (aiōnios g166)
