Revelation 6
1 I looked when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice that sounded like thunder, “Come!”
| همچنانکه محو تماشا بودم، برّه نخستین مهر از آن هفت مُهر را گشود. ناگاه یکی از آن چهار موجود زنده، با صدایی همچون غرش رعد گفت: «بیا!» |
2 I looked and there was a white horse. Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown. He came out as a conqueror in order to conquer.
| نگاه کردم و اسبی سفید دیدم. سوار بر اسب، کسی را دیدم که کمانی در دست و تاجی بر سر داشت. او اسب را به جلو می‌راند تا در نبردهای بسیار، پیروز شود و فاتح جنگ باشد. |
3 When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!”
| سپس برّه مهر دوم را باز کرد. آنگاه شنیدم که موجود زندهٔ دوم گفت: «بیا!» |
4 Then another horse came out—fiery red. To its rider was given permission to take peace away from the earth, so that its people would slaughter one another. This rider was given a huge sword.
| این بار، اسبی سرخ پدیدار شد. به سوار آن شمشیری بزرگ و اقتدار داده شده بود تا صلح و سلامتی را از زمین بردارد. در نتیجه، جنگ و خونریزی در همه جا آغاز شد. |
5 When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I saw a black horse, and its rider held a pair of scales in his hand.
| چون برّه مهر سوم را گشود، شنیدم که موجود زندهٔ سوم گفت: «بیا!» آنگاه اسب سیاهی را دیدم که سوارش ترازویی در دست داشت. |
6 I heard what seemed to be a voice among the four living creatures say, “A choenix of wheat for one denarius, and three choenices of barley for a denarius. But do not harm the oil and the wine.”
| سپس از میان چهار موجود زنده، صدایی به گوش رسید که می‌گفت: «یک قرص نان گندم، یا یک کیلو آرد جو، به قیمت مزد روزانهٔ یک کارگر باشد. اما به روغن زیتون و شراب آسیبی نرسان!» |
7 When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!”
| وقتی برّه مهر چهارم را گشود، صدای موجود زندهٔ چهارم را شنیدم که گفت: «بیا!» |
8 Then I saw a pale horse. The rider on it was named Death, and Hades was following him. They were given authority over one-fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, with famine and disease, and with the wild animals of the earth. (Hadēs g86)
| نگاه کردم و دیدم اسب رنگ پریده‌ای ظاهر شد که سوارش مرگ نام داشت. به دنبال او، اسب دیگری می‌آمد که نام سوارش دنیای مردگان بود. به آن دو، اختیار و قدرت داده شد تا یک چهارم زمین را به‌وسیلۀ جنگ، قحطی، بیماری و جانوران وحشی نابود کنند. (Hadēs g86) |
9 When the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been killed because of the word of God and the testimony which they held.
| وقتی مهر پنجم را باز کرد، مذبحی ظاهر شد. زیر مذبح، روحهای کسانی را دیدم که برای موعظهٔ کلام خدا و شهادت راستین خود شهید شده بودند. |
10 They cried out with a loud voice, “How long, Ruler over all, holy and true, until you judge those who live on the earth, and until you avenge our blood?”
| ایشان با صدایی بلند به خداوند می‌گفتند: «ای خداوند پاک و حق، تا به کی بر ساکنان زمین داوری نمی‌کنی و انتقام خون ما را از آنان نمی‌گیری؟» |
11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told that they should wait a little longer until the full number of their fellow servants and their brothers and sisters was reached who were to be killed, just as they had been killed.
| سپس به هر یک از ایشان، ردایی سفید دادند و گفتند که کمی دیگر نیز استراحت کنند تا همقطارانشان که باید مانند ایشان به خاطر خدمت به عیسی مسیح شهید گردند، به جمع آنان بپیوندند. |
12 When the Lamb opened the sixth seal, I watched and there was a great earthquake. The sun became as black as sackcloth, and the full moon became like blood.
| آنگاه بَرّه مهر ششم را گشود. ناگهان زلزلهٔ شدیدی رخ داد و خورشید مانند پارچه‌ای سیاه، تیره و تار گشت و ماه به رنگ خون درآمد. |
13 The stars in the heavens fell to the earth, just as a fig tree drops its unripe fruit when shaken by a stormy wind.
| سپس دیدم که ستارگان آسمان بر زمین می‌ریزند، درست مانند انجیرهای نارس که در اثر باد شدید، از درخت کنده شده، بر زمین می‌افتند. |
14 The sky vanished like a scroll that was being rolled up. Every mountain and island was moved out of its place.
| آسمان نیز مانند یک طومار به هم پیچید و ناپدید گشت و تمام کوهها و جزیره‌ها تکان خورده، از جای خود منتقل شدند. |
15 Then the kings of the earth and the important people, and the generals, and the rich, and the powerful, and everyone else, slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.
| پادشاهان زمین و رهبران جهان، فرمانداران و ثروتمندان، کوچک و بزرگ، برده و آزاد، همه خود را در غارها و زیر تخته سنگهای کوهها پنهان کردند. |
16 They said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us! Hide us from the face of the one who is seated on the throne and from the Lamb's wrath.
| ایشان به کوهها و صخره‌ها التماس کرده، می‌گفتند: «ای کوهها و ای صخره‌ها، بر ما بیفتید و ما را از روی آنکه بر تخت نشسته و از خشم برّه پنهان کنید. |
17 For the great day of their wrath has come. Who is able to stand?”
| زیرا روز عظیم خشم آنان فرا رسیده است. پس کیست که تاب مقاومت داشته باشد؟» |
