< Revelation 5 >
1 Then I saw in the right hand of the one who was seated on the throne a scroll written on the front and on the back, sealed with seven seals.
Mo sì rí i ni ọwọ́ ọ̀tún ẹni tí ó jókòó lórí ìtẹ́ náà, ìwé kan ti a kọ nínú àti lẹ́yìn, ti a sì fi èdìdì méje dí.
2 I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?”
Mó sì rí angẹli alágbára kan, ó ń fi ohùn rara kéde pé, “Ta ni ó yẹ láti ṣí ìwé náà, àti láti tu èdìdì rẹ̀?”
3 No one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to read it.
Kò sì ṣí ẹni kan ní ọ̀run, tàbí lórí ilẹ̀ ayé, tàbí nísàlẹ̀ ilẹ̀, tí ó le ṣí ìwé náà, tàbí ti o lè wo inú rẹ̀.
4 I wept bitterly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to read it.
Èmi sì sọkún gidigidi, nítorí tí a kò ri ẹnìkan tí o yẹ láti sí i àti láti ka ìwé náà, tàbí láti wo inú rẹ̀.
5 But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Look! The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
Ọ̀kan nínú àwọn àgbà náà sì wí fún mi pé, “Má ṣe sọkún: kíyèsi i, kìnnìún ẹ̀yà Juda, Gbòǹgbò Dafidi, tí borí láti ṣí ìwé náà, àti láti tú èdìdì rẹ̀ méjèèje.”
6 I saw a Lamb standing in the middle of the throne area and among the four living creatures and among the elders. He looked as though he had been killed. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
Mo sì rí Ọ̀dọ́-Àgùntàn ni àárín ìtẹ́ náà, àti àwọn ẹ̀dá alààyè mẹ́rin náà, àti ni àárín àwọn àgbà náà, Ọ̀dọ́-àgùntàn kan dúró bí èyí tí a ti pa, ó ní ìwo méje àti ojú méje, tí o jẹ́ Ẹ̀mí méje tí Ọlọ́run, tí a rán jáde lọ sì orí ilẹ̀ ayé gbogbo.
7 He went and took hold of the scroll out of the right hand of the one who was seated on the throne.
Ó sì wá, o sì gbà á ìwé náà ni ọwọ́ ọ̀tún ẹni tí ó jókòó lórí ìtẹ́ náà.
8 When he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each of them had a harp and a golden bowl full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
Nígbà tí ó sì gba ìwé náà, àwọn ẹ̀dá alààyè mẹ́rin náà, àti àwọn àgbà mẹ́rìnlélógún náà wólẹ̀ níwájú Ọ̀dọ́-àgùntàn náà, olúkúlùkù wọn mú ohun èlò orin olókùn kan lọ́wọ́, àti ago wúrà tí ó kún fún tùràrí tí i ṣe àdúrà àwọn ènìyàn mímọ́.
9 They sang a new song: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals. For you were slaughtered, and with your blood you purchased people for God from every tribe, language, people, and nation.
Wọn sì ń kọ orin tuntun kan, wí pé: “Ìwọ ní o yẹ láti gba ìwé náà, àti láti ṣí èdìdì rẹ̀: nítorí tí a tí pa ọ, ìwọ sì tí fi ẹ̀jẹ̀ rẹ̀ ṣe ìràpadà ènìyàn sí Ọlọ́run láti inú ẹ̀yà gbogbo, àti èdè gbogbo, àti inú ènìyàn gbogbo, àti orílẹ̀-èdè gbogbo wá.

Ìwọ sì tí ṣe wọ́n ni ọba àti àlùfáà sì Ọlọ́run wá: wọ́n sì ń jẹ ọba lórí ilẹ̀ ayé.”
11 Then I looked and heard the sound of many angels who encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. Their total number was ten thousands of ten thousands and thousands of thousands.

12 They said in a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who has been slaughtered to receive power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and praise.”
Wọn ń wí lóhùn rara pé: “Yíyẹ ni Ọ̀dọ́-àgùntàn náà tí a tí pa, láti gba agbára, àti ọ̀rọ̀ àti ọgbọ́n, àti ipá, àti ọlá, àti ògo, àti ìbùkún.”
13 I heard every created thing that was in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea—everything in them—saying, “To the one who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise, honor, glory, and the power to rule, forever and ever.” (aiōn )
