< Revelation 5 >
1 Then I saw in the right hand of the one who was seated on the throne a scroll written on the front and on the back, sealed with seven seals.
Kumpi tokhum tung ah a to pa i a ziatsang khut sung ah, a sung le a nungsang ah lai ki at a, ceptena sali a ki khen laibu ka mu hi.
2 I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?”
Hi laibu le ceptena te hong tu in kua kilawm ziam? ci in a thahat vantungmi khat a tai kawm in aw ngingtak taw a au ka mu hi.
3 No one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to read it.
Vantung ah ahizong, leitung ah ahizong, leinuai ah ahizong, laibu a hong thei tu mihing om ngawl a, a en thei tu peu zong om ngawl hi.
4 I wept bitterly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to read it.
Tabang in laibu hong tu, a sim tu le a en tu a kilawm mihing mu ngawl ahikom, nasiatak in ka kap hi.
5 But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Look! The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
Upa te sung pan khat in, kap heak in: en in, Judah minam te i Tawpi le David i zungpi in laibu le ceptena sali te hong tu in zawna nga zo hi, hong ci hi.
6 I saw a Lamb standing in the middle of the throne area and among the four living creatures and among the elders. He looked as though he had been killed. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
Ka en a, kumpi tokhum, nganhing li le upa te i laizang ah a ki that Tuuno bang khat a ding ka mu hi, tua Tuuno in kii sali le mit sali nei a, tuate sia leitung theampo ah Pathian i sawl Thaa sali te a hi uh hi.
7 He went and took hold of the scroll out of the right hand of the one who was seated on the throne.
Ama hongpai a kumpi tokhum tung ah a to pa i ziatsang khutsung pan in laibu sia la hi.
8 When he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each of them had a harp and a golden bowl full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
Laibu a lak zawkciang in, nganhing li le upa kul le li te sia Tuuno mai ah bok uh hi, khatsim in tengtong te le mithiangtho te thungetna ngimnamtui taw a kidim kham kuang te nei tek uh hi.
9 They sang a new song: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals. For you were slaughtered, and with your blood you purchased people for God from every tribe, language, people, and nation.
Amate in la thak dawngkhat sia hibang in sa khawm uh hi, laibu a la tu le ceptena te a hong tu in na kilawm hi: banghangziam cile nangma sia thalupna thuak in na thisan taw nam sim, minam tatuam le ngam tatuam sung pan in Pathian atu in nong tan zo hi;
10 You made them a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
Taciang Pathian tung ah kumpi le thiampi te in nong vawt zo hi: taciang leitung ah i uk tu hi, ci hi.
11 Then I looked and heard the sound of many angels who encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. Their total number was ten thousands of ten thousands and thousands of thousands.
Ka en a, kumpi tokhum, nganhing te le upa te kimkot ah vantungmi tampi te aw ka za hi; tua vantungmi te sia tulsawm a se tul sawm le tul tampi a se tul tampi a hihi;
12 They said in a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who has been slaughtered to receive power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and praise.”
Thalup na a thuak Tuuno sia vangletna, hauna, ciimna, thahatna, upatna, minthanna le thupha sang tu kilawm hi, ci in aw ngingtak in ci uh hi.
13 I heard every created thing that was in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea—everything in them—saying, “To the one who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise, honor, glory, and the power to rule, forever and ever.” (aiōn )
Vantung le leitung a om te ahizong, lei nuai le tuipi sung a om, a bitphuana te theampo in, thupha, upatna, minthanna le vangletna te sia kumpi tokhum tung ah a to pa le Tuuno tung ah, om tawntung tahen, a ci na ka za hi. (aiōn )
14 The four living creatures said, “Amen!” and the elders fell down and worshiped.
Nganhing li te in, Amen, ci hi. Taciang upa kul le li te in zong a nungta tawntung pa sia kun in bia uh hi.
