Revelation 4
1 After these things I looked, and I saw an open door in heaven. The first voice that I had heard was speaking to me like a trumpet, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after these things.”
Después de estas cosas miré, y vi [una ]puerta abierta en el cielo. La primera voz que oí, como de trompeta, al hablar conmigo, dijo: Sube acá y te mostraré las cosas que sucederán después de éstas.
2 At once I was in the Spirit, and I saw there was a throne placed in heaven, with someone sitting on it.
De inmediato estuve en el Espíritu. Vi un trono puesto en el cielo y a Uno sentado sobre el trono.
3 The one who was sitting on it looked like jasper and carnelian. There was a rainbow around the throne. The rainbow looked like an emerald.
El que se sentó era semejante a una piedra de jaspe y cornalina. Alrededor del trono había un arco iris, cuyo aspecto era semejante a una esmeralda.
4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, dressed with white garments, with golden crowns on their heads.
En torno al trono había 24 tronos, y sobre los tronos, 24 ancianos sentados, vestidos con ropas blancas y coronas de oro sobre sus cabezas.
5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings, and crashes of thunder. Seven lamps were burning in front of the throne, lamps that were the seven spirits of God.
Del trono salen relámpagos, voces y truenos. Delante del trono ardían siete lámparas, las cuales son los siete espíritus de Dios.
6 Before the throne was a sea of glass, like crystal. In the middle of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures, full of eyes, front and back.
Delante del trono había como un mar de vidrio, semejante a cristal. Alrededor del trono, cuatro seres vivientes llenos de ojos por delante y por detrás.
7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature was like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.
El primer ser viviente era semejante a un león, el segundo, semejante a un becerro. El tercero tenía cara como de hombre, y el cuarto era semejante a un águila que se cierne.
8 The four living creatures each had six wings, full of eyes on top and underneath. Night and day they do not stop saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty who was, and who is, and who is to come.”
Cada uno de [los] cuatro seres vivientes tenía seis alas, y alrededor y por dentro estaban llenos de ojos. No tenían reposo porque decían día y noche: ¡Santo, santo, santo [es el] Señor Dios Todopoderoso, Quien era, Quien es y Quien viene!
9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, the one who lives forever and ever, (aiōn g165)
Cuando los seres vivientes daban gloria, honor y acción de gracias al que estaba sentado en el trono, al que vive por los siglos de los siglos, (aiōn g165)
10 the twenty-four elders fall down before the one seated on the throne, and worship him who lives forever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne, saying, (aiōn g165)
los 24 ancianos se postraban delante del que estaba sentado en el trono. Adoraban al que vive por los siglos de los siglos, ponían sus coronas delante del trono y decían: (aiōn g165)
11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”
¡Digno eres, oh Señor y Dios nuestro de recibir la gloria, el honor y el poder! Porque Tú creaste todas las cosas, y por tu voluntad existieron y fueron creadas.
