Revelation 4
1 After these things I looked, and I saw an open door in heaven. The first voice that I had heard was speaking to me like a trumpet, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after these things.”
Potom jsem viděl, a aj, dvéře otevřené v nebi, a ten hlas první, kterýž jsem byl slyšel jako trouby, an mluví se mnou, řkoucí: Vstup sem, a ukážiť, co se má díti potom.
2 At once I was in the Spirit, and I saw there was a throne placed in heaven, with someone sitting on it.
A hned jsem byl u vytržení ducha, a aj, trůn postaven byl na nebi, a na trůnu jeden seděl.
3 The one who was sitting on it looked like jasper and carnelian. There was a rainbow around the throne. The rainbow looked like an emerald.
A ten, kterýž seděl, podoben byl oblíčejem kameni jaspidu a sardiovi; a vůkol toho trůnu byla duha, na pohledění podobná smaragdu.
4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, dressed with white garments, with golden crowns on their heads.
A okolo toho trůnu bylo trůnů čtyřmecítma, a na těch trůních viděl jsem čtyřmecítma starců sedících, oblečených v roucha bílá. A měli na hlavách svých koruny zlaté.
5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings, and crashes of thunder. Seven lamps were burning in front of the throne, lamps that were the seven spirits of God.
A z toho trůnu pocházelo blýskání, a hromobití, a hlasové. A sedm lamp ohnivých hořících před trůnem, jenž jsou sedm duchů Božích.
6 Before the throne was a sea of glass, like crystal. In the middle of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures, full of eyes, front and back.
Bylo také před tím trůnem moře sklené, podobné křištálu, a u prostřed trůnu a vůkol trůnu čtvero zvířat, plných očí s předu i s zadu.
7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature was like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.
První pak to zvíře podobné bylo lvu, a druhé zvíře podobné teleti, a třetí zvíře mající tvárnost člověka, a čtvrté zvíře podobné orlu letícímu.
8 The four living creatures each had six wings, full of eyes on top and underneath. Night and day they do not stop saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty who was, and who is, and who is to come.”
A jedno každé z těch čtyř zvířat mělo šest křídel okolo, a vnitř plná byla očí, a neměla odpočinutí dnem i nocí, říkajíce: Svatý, svatý, svatý Pán Bůh všemohoucí, kterýž byl, a jest, i přijíti má.
9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, the one who lives forever and ever, (aiōn g165)
A když ta zvířata vzdávala slávu, a čest, i díků činění sedícímu na trůnu, tomu živému na věky věků, (aiōn g165)
10 the twenty-four elders fall down before the one seated on the throne, and worship him who lives forever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne, saying, (aiōn g165)
Padlo těch čtyřmecítma starců před oblíčejem toho sedícího na trůnu, a klanělo se tomu živému na věky věků, a metali koruny své před trůnem, řkouce: (aiōn g165)
11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”
Hoden jsi, Pane, přijíti slávu, a čest, i moc; nebo ty jsi stvořil všecky věci, a pro vůli tvou trvají, i stvořeny jsou.
