< Revelation 2 >

1 “To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: 'The words of the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand and who walks among the seven golden lampstands,
“Sí angẹli ìjọ ní Efesu kọ̀wé: Nǹkan wọ̀nyí ní ẹni tí ó mú ìràwọ̀ méje náà ni ọwọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ̀ wí, ẹni tí ń rìn ní àárín ọ̀pá wúrà fìtílà méje.
2 “I know what you have done and your hard labor and your patient endurance. I know that you cannot tolerate the evil people. I know that you have tested those who say they are apostles, but are not, and that you have found them to be false.
Èmi mọ iṣẹ́ rẹ, àti làálàá rẹ, àti ìfaradà rẹ, àti bí ara rẹ kò ti gba àwọn ẹni búburú, àti bí ìwọ sì ti dán àwọn tí ń pe ara wọn ní aposteli, tí wọ́n kì í sì í ṣe bẹ́ẹ̀ wo, tí ìwọ sì rí pé èké ni wọ́n,
3 I know you have patient endurance, and you have suffered much because of my name, and that you have not grown weary.
tí ìwọ sì faradà ìyà, àti nítorí orúkọ mi tí ó sì rọ́jú, tí àárẹ̀ kò sì mú ọ.
4 But I have against you the fact that you have left behind your first love.
Síbẹ̀ èyí ni mo rí wí sí ọ, pé, ìwọ ti fi ìfẹ́ ìṣáájú rẹ sílẹ̀.
5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen. Repent and do the things you did at first. Unless you repent, I will come to you and I will remove your lampstand from its place.
Rántí ibi tí ìwọ ti gbé ṣubú! Ronúpìwàdà, kí ó sì ṣe iṣẹ́ ìṣáájú; bí kò sì ṣe bẹ́ẹ̀, èmi ó sì tọ̀ ọ́ wá, èmi ó sì ṣí ọ̀pá fìtílà rẹ̀ kúrò ní ipò rẹ̀, bí kò ṣe bí ìwọ bá ronúpìwàdà.
6 But you have this: You hate what the Nicolaitans have done, which I also hate.
Ṣùgbọ́n èyí ni ìwọ ní, pé ìwọ kórìíra ìṣe àwọn Nikolatani, èyí tí èmi pẹ̀lú sì kórìíra.
7 Let the one who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To the one who conquers I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.”'”
Ẹni tí ó bá ní etí kí ó gbọ́ ohun tí Ẹ̀mí ń sọ fún àwọn ìjọ. Ẹni tí ó bá ṣẹ́gun ni èmi yóò fi èso igi ìyè nì fún jẹ, tí ń bẹ láàrín Paradise Ọlọ́run.
8 “To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: 'The words of the one who is the first and the last, the one who was dead and who became alive again:
“Àti sí angẹli ìjọ ní Smirna kọ̀wé. Nǹkan wọ̀nyí ni ẹni tí í ṣe ẹni ìṣáájú àti ẹni ìkẹyìn wí, ẹni tí ó ti kú, tí ó sì tún yè.
9 “I know your sufferings and your poverty, but you are rich. I know the slander of those who say they are Jews, but they are not. They are a synagogue of Satan.
Èmi mọ iṣẹ́ rẹ, àti ìpọ́njú, àti àìní rẹ—ṣùgbọ́n ọlọ́rọ̀ ni ọ́, èmi sì mọ ọ̀rọ̀-òdì tí àwọn tí ń wí pé, Júù ni àwọn tìkára wọn, tí wọn kì sì í ṣe bẹ́ẹ̀, ṣùgbọ́n tí wọ́n jẹ́ Sinagọgu ti Satani.
10 Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Look! The devil is about to throw some of you into prison so that you will be tested, and you will suffer for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
Má ṣe bẹ̀rù ohunkóhun tí ìwọ ń bọ wá jìyà rẹ̀. Kíyèsi i, èṣù yóò gbé nínú yín jù sínú túbú, kí a lè dán yin wò; ẹ̀yin ó sì ní ìpọ́njú ní ọjọ́ mẹ́wàá, ìwọ ṣa ṣe olóòtítọ́ dé ojú ikú, èmi ó sì fi adé ìyè fún ọ.
11 Let the one who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. The one who conquers will not be hurt by the second death.”'”
Ẹni tí ó bá ní etí kí ó gbọ́ ohun tí Ẹ̀mí ń sọ fún àwọn ìjọ. Ẹni tí ó bá ṣẹ́gun kì yóò fi ara pa nínú ikú kejì.
12 “To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: 'The words of the one who has the sword with two sharp edges:
“Àti sì angẹli ìjọ ni Pargamu kọ̀wé. Ọ̀rọ̀ wọ̀nyí ni ẹni tí ó ní idà mímú olójú méjì.
13 “I know where you live, there where Satan's throne is. Yet you hold on tightly to my name. I know that you did not deny your faith in me, even in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, there where Satan lives.
Èmí mọ̀ ibi tí ìwọ ń gbé, àní ibi tí ìtẹ́ Satani wà. Síbẹ̀ ìwọ di orúkọ mi mú ṣinṣin. Ìwọ kò sì sẹ́ ìgbàgbọ́ nínú mi, pàápàá jùlọ ni ọjọ́ Antipa ẹlẹ́rìí mi, olóòtítọ́ ènìyàn, ẹni tí wọn pa láàrín yín, níbi tí Satani ń gbé.
14 But I have a few things against you: You have there some who hold tightly to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to throw a stumbling block before the children of Israel, so they would eat food sacrificed to idols and be sexually immoral.
Ṣùgbọ́n mo ni nǹkan díẹ̀ wí sí ọ; nítorí tí ìwọ ní àwọn kan tí ó di ẹ̀kọ́ Balaamu mú síbẹ̀, ẹni tí ó kọ́ Balaki láti mú ohun ìkọ̀sẹ̀ wá síwájú àwọn ọmọ Israẹli, láti máa jẹ ohun tí a pa rú ẹbọ sí òrìṣà, àti láti máa ṣe àgbèrè.
15 In the same way, you even have some who hold tightly to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ìwọ sì ní àwọn tí ó gbá ẹ̀kọ́ àwọn Nikolatani pẹ̀lú, ohun tí mo kórìíra.
16 Repent, therefore! If you do not, I will quickly come to you, and I will wage war against them with the sword in my mouth.
Nítorí náà, ronúpìwàdà; bí kò ṣe bẹ́ẹ̀, èmi ó tọ̀ ọ́ wá nísinsin yìí, èmí o sì fi idà ẹnu mi bá wọn jà.
17 Let the one who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give a white stone with a new name written on the stone, a name which no one knows but the one who receives it.”'”
Ẹni tí ó bá létí, kí ó gbọ́ ohun tí Ẹ̀mí ń sọ fún àwọn ìjọ. Ẹni tí o bá ṣẹ́gun ni èmi o fi manna tí ó pamọ́ fún, èmi ó sì fún un ni òkúta funfun kan, àti sára òkúta náà ni a kọ orúkọ tuntun kan, tí ẹnìkan kò mọ̀ bí kò ṣe ẹni tí ó gbà á.
18 “To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: 'These are the words of the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire and feet like polished bronze:
“Àti sí angẹli ìjọ ní Tiatira kọ̀wé. Nǹkan wọ̀nyí ni Ọmọ Ọlọ́run wí, ẹni tí ojú rẹ̀ dàbí ọ̀wọ́-iná, tí ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀ sì dàbí idẹ dáradára.
19 “I know what you have done: your love and faith and service and your patient endurance. I know that what you have done recently is more than you did at first.
Èmi mọ̀ iṣẹ́, ìfẹ́, àti ìgbàgbọ́ àti ìsìn àti sùúrù rẹ̀; àti pé iṣẹ́ rẹ̀ ìkẹyìn ju tí ìṣáájú lọ.
20 But I have this against you: You tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she deceives my servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.
Ṣùgbọ́n èyí ni mo rí wí sí ọ, nítorí tí ìwọ fi ààyè sílẹ̀ fún obìnrin Jesebeli tí ó ń pe ara rẹ̀ ní wòlíì. Nípasẹ̀ ẹ̀kọ́ rẹ̀, ó sì ń kọ́ àwọn ìránṣẹ́ mi, ó sì ń tàn wọ́n láti máa ṣe àgbèrè, àti láti máa jẹ ohun tí a pa rú ẹbọ sì òrìṣà.
21 I gave her time to repent, but she is not willing to repent of her immorality.
Èmi fi àkókò fún un, láti ronúpìwàdà; ṣùgbọ́n òun kò fẹ́ ronúpìwàdà àgbèrè rẹ̀.
22 Look! I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great suffering, unless they repent of her deeds.
Nítorí náà, èmi ó gbé e sọ sí orí àkéte ìpọ́njú, àti àwọn tí ń bá a ṣe panṣágà ni èmi ó fi sínú ìpọ́njú ńlá, bí kò ṣe bí wọ́n bá ronúpìwàdà iṣẹ́ wọn.
23 I will strike her children dead, and all the churches will know that I am the one who searches thoughts and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
Èmi o pa àwọn ọmọ rẹ̀ run; gbogbo ìjọ ni yóò sì mọ̀ pé, èmi ni ẹni tí ń wádìí inú àti ọkàn, èmi ó sì fi fún olúkúlùkù yín gẹ́gẹ́ bí iṣẹ́ rẹ̀.
24 But to the rest of you in Thyatira, to everyone who does not hold this teaching, and does not know what some call the deep things of Satan—to you I say, 'I do not put any other burden on you.'
Ṣùgbọ́n ẹ̀yin ni mò ń sọ fún, ẹ̀yin ìyókù tí ń bẹ ní Tiatira, gbogbo ẹ̀yin tí kò ni ẹ̀kọ́ yìí, ti kò ì tí ì mọ̀ ohun tí wọn pè ni ohun ìjìnlẹ̀ Satani, èmi kò di ẹrù mìíràn rù yín,
25 In any case, you must hold on tightly until I come.
ṣùgbọ́n èyí tí ẹ̀yin ní, ẹ di mú ṣinṣin títí èmi ó fi dé.
26 The one who conquers and who does what I have done until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations.
Ẹni tí ó bá sì ṣẹ́gun, àti tí ó sì ṣe ìfẹ́ mi títí dé òpin, èmi ó fún un láṣẹ lórí àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè:
27 'He will rule them with an iron rod, like clay jars he will break them into pieces.'
‘Òun ó sì máa fi ọ̀pá irin ṣe àkóso wọn; gẹ́gẹ́ bí a ti ń fọ́ ohun èlò amọ̀kòkò ni a ó fọ́ wọn túútúú,’ gẹ́gẹ́ bí èmi pẹ̀lú tí gbà àṣẹ láti ọ̀dọ̀ Baba mi.
28 Just as I have received from my Father, I will also give him the morning star.
Èmi yóò sì fi ìràwọ̀ òwúrọ̀ fún un.
29 Let the one who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.”'”
Ẹni tí ó bá létí, kí ó gbọ́ ohun tí Ẹ̀mí ń sọ fún àwọn ìjọ.
