< Revelation 18 >

1 After these things I saw another angel coming down out of heaven. He had great authority, and the earth was illumined by his glory.
Lẹ́yìn nǹkan wọ̀nyí mo sì rí angẹli mìíràn, ó ń ti ọ̀run sọ̀kalẹ̀ wá ti òun ti agbára ńlá; ilẹ̀ ayé sì ti ipa ògo rẹ̀ mọ́lẹ̀.
2 He cried out with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place for demons, a refuge for every unclean spirit, and a refuge for every unclean and detestable bird.
Ó sì kígbe ní ohùn rara, wí pé: “Babeli ńlá ṣubú! Ó ṣubú! Ó sì di ibùjókòó àwọn ẹ̀mí èṣù, àti ihò fún ẹ̀mí àìmọ́ gbogbo, àti ilé fún ẹyẹ àìmọ́ gbogbo, ilé fún ẹranko ìríra àti àìmọ́ gbogbo.
3 For all the nations have drunk the wine of her immoral passion. The kings of the earth have committed immorality with her. The merchants of the earth have become rich from the power of her sensual way of living.”
Nítorí nípa ọtí wáìnì ìrunú àgbèrè rẹ̀ ni gbogbo àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè ṣubú. Àwọn ọba ayé sì ti bá a ṣe àgbèrè, àti àwọn oníṣòwò ayé sì di ọlọ́rọ̀ nípa ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ wọ̀bìà rẹ̀.”
4 Then I heard another voice from heaven say, “Come out from her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, and so that you will not receive any of her plagues.
Mo sì gbọ́ ohùn mìíràn láti ọ̀run wá, wí pé: “‘Ẹ ti inú rẹ̀ jáde, ẹ̀yin ènìyàn mi,’ kí ẹ ma bá a ṣe alábápín nínú ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ rẹ̀, kí ẹ ma bà á sì ṣe gbà nínú ìyọnu rẹ̀.

6 Pay her back as she has paid others back, and repay her double for what she has done; in the cup she mixed, mix double the amount for her.

7 As she glorified herself and lived in luxury, give her just as much torture and grief. For she says in her heart, 'I am seated as a queen; I am not a widow, and I will never see mourning.'
Níwọ́n bí o ti yin ara rẹ̀ lógo tó, tí ó sì hùwà wọ̀bìà, níwọ̀n bẹ́ẹ̀ ni kí ẹ dá a lóró kí ẹ sì fún un ní ìbànújẹ́; nítorí tí ó wí ní ọkàn rẹ̀ pé, ‘Mo jókòó bí ọbabìnrin, èmi kì sì í ṣe opó, èmí kì yóò sì rí ìbànújẹ́ láé.’
8 Therefore in one day her plagues will come: death, mourning, and famine. She will be consumed by fire, for the Lord God is mighty, and he is her judge.”
