Revelation 17
1 One of the seven angels who had been holding the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the condemnation of the great prostitute who is seated on many waters.
拿着七个碗的七位天使中，有一位来跟我说：“来这儿，我要把那坐在众水旁边恶名淫妇要受的审判告诉你。
2 It is with her that the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality. It is with the wine of her sexual immorality that the earth's inhabitants became drunk.”
地上的众王都曾与她行淫，住在地上的人也因喝她淫乱的酒而醉。”
3 Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit to a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of blasphemous names. The beast had seven heads and ten horns.
我在灵被天使带到荒野，看见一个妇人骑着鲜红色野兽，这野兽身上覆盖着亵渎的名字，有七头十角。
4 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet and was adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls. She was holding in her hand a golden cup full of detestable things and the impurities of her sexual immorality.
那妇人身穿紫色和朱红色衣服，佩戴金子、宝石和珍珠的珠宝，手里拿着金杯，盛满可憎的物品和她淫乱的污秽。
5 On her forehead was written a name having a secret meaning: “Babylon the great, the mother of prostitutes and of the detestable things of the earth.”
她额上写着一个名号：“奥秘，大巴比伦，地上淫妇和可憎物之母。”
6 I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs for Jesus. When I saw her, I was greatly astonished.
我又看见那妇人喝圣徒的血，还喝下耶稣见证人的血，喝醉了。看到她，我感到彻头彻尾的惊奇。
7 But the angel said to me, “Why are you astonished? I will explain to you the meaning of the woman and of the beast that is carrying her, the beast that has the seven heads and the ten horns.
天使问我：“你为什么感到震惊？我要把这妇人的奥秘，以及她所骑七头十角兽的奥秘，都告诉你。
8 The beast you saw existed, does not exist now, but is about to come up from the bottomless pit. Then it will go on to destruction. Those who live on the earth, those whose names have not been written in the Book of Life since the foundation of the world—they will be astounded when they see the beast that existed, does not exist now, but is about to come. 你看见的那个野兽，过去曾是从深渊上来，现在不是如此，但未来还将如此，然后就会走向灭亡。住在世上的人，凡是其名字在创世以来没有记在生命册上，在看见过去曾出现、现今不再出现、但将来还要出现的野兽，都会感到惊奇。 (Abyssos g12)
9 This calls for a mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman is seated.
这里需要一个有理解力的头脑。七头就是那妇人所坐的七座小山，
10 They are also seven kings. Five kings have fallen, one exists, and the other has not yet come; when he comes, he can remain only for a little while.
也就是那七位王：五位已经倒下，一位还在，另一位还没有来到——这位即将到来的，统治也会很短。
11 The beast that existed, but does not exist now, is itself also an eighth king; but it is one of those seven kings, and it is going to destruction.
那曾经在、但如今不在的野兽，就是第八位王，是那七位中的一位，也会被彻底摧毁。
12 The ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they will receive authority as kings for one hour together with the beast.
你看见的那十角就是十个尚未开始统治的王。他们会获得与兽一起作为王统治的权力，持续一小时。
13 These are of one mind, and they give over their power and authority to the beast.
他们有着共同的目标：把自己的力量和权力交给那野兽。
14 They will wage war against the Lamb. But the Lamb will conquer them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him are the called ones, the chosen ones, and the faithful ones.”
他们要跟羊羔作战，羊羔一定会战胜他们，因为他是万主之主，万王之王。已呼叫和选择了他的追随者，他们相信他”
15 The angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute is seated, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.
天使对我解释：“你所看见那淫妇坐着的水源，就是各种民族、人群、国家和方言的人。
16 The ten horns that you saw—they and the beast will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, they will devour her flesh, and they will burn her completely with fire.
你看见那十角和野兽会恨这淫妇，会对夺走她的一切，让她赤裸，又要吃她的肉，用火把她烧掉。
17 For God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by agreeing to give their power to rule to the beast until God's words are fulfilled.
因为上帝把他想要做的事放在他们的脑海里，有一个商定的目的：那就是把自己的国家献给野兽，让上帝的话变成现实。
18 The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”
你看见的那妇人，就是统治地上众王的那座伟大城市。”
