< Revelation 11 >

1 A reed was given to me to use like a measuring rod. I was told, “Get up and measure the temple of God and the altar, and those who worship in it.
A sì fi ìfèéfèé kan fún mi tí o dàbí ọ̀pá-ìwọ̀n: ẹnìkan sì wí pé, “Dìde, wọn tẹmpili Ọlọ́run, àti pẹpẹ, àti àwọn tí ń sìn nínú rẹ̀.
2 But do not measure the courtyard outside the temple, for it has been given over to the Gentiles. They will trample the holy city for forty-two months.
Sì fi àgbàlá tí ń bẹ lóde tẹmpili sílẹ̀, má sì ṣe wọ́n ọ́n; nítorí tí a fi fún àwọn aláìkọlà: ìlú mímọ́ náà ni wọn ó sì tẹ̀ mọ́lẹ̀ ní oṣù méjìlélógójì.
3 I will give my two witnesses authority to prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”
Èmi ó sì yọ̀ǹda fún àwọn ẹlẹ́rìí mi méjèèje, wọn ó sì sọtẹ́lẹ̀ fún ẹgbẹ̀fà ọjọ́ ó lé ọgọ́ta nínú aṣọ ọ̀fọ̀.”
4 These witnesses are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that have stood before the Lord of the earth.
Wọ̀nyí ni igi olifi méjì náà, àti ọ̀pá fìtílà méjì náà tí ń dúró níwájú Olúwa ayé.
5 If anyone chooses to harm them, fire comes out of their mouth and devours their enemies. Anyone who wishes to harm them must be killed in this way.
Bí ẹnikẹ́ni bá sì fẹ́ pa wọn lára, iná ó ti ẹnu wọn jáde, a sì pa àwọn ọ̀tá wọn run, báyìí ni a ó sì pa ẹnikẹ́ni tí ó ba ń fẹ́ pa wọn lára run.
6 These witnesses have authority to close up the sky so that no rain will fall during the time that they prophesy. They have power to turn the waters to blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague whenever they wish.
Àwọn wọ̀nyí ni ó ni agbára láti sé ọ̀run, tí òjò kò fi lè rọ̀ ni ọjọ́ àsọtẹ́lẹ̀ wọn. Wọ́n sì ní agbára lórí omi láti sọ wọn di ẹ̀jẹ̀, àti láti fi onírúurú àjàkálẹ̀-ààrùn kọlu ayé, nígbàkígbà tí wọ́n bá fẹ́.
7 When they will have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the bottomless pit will wage war against them. He will conquer them and kill them. (Abyssos g12)
Nígbà tí wọn bá sì ti parí ẹ̀rí wọn, ẹranko tí o ń tí inú ọ̀gbun gòkè wá yóò bá wọn jagun, yóò sì ṣẹ́gun wọn, yóò sì pa wọ́n. (Abyssos g12)
8 Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city (which is symbolically called Sodom and Egypt) where their Lord was crucified.
Òkú wọn yóò sì wà ni ìgboro ìlú ńlá náà tí a ń pè ní Sodomu àti Ejibiti nípa ti ẹ̀mí, níbi tí a gbé kan Olúwa wọ́n mọ́ àgbélébùú.
9 For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language, and nation will look at their bodies. They will not permit them to be placed in a tomb.
Fún ọjọ́ mẹ́ta àti ààbọ̀ ni àwọn ènìyàn nínú ènìyàn gbogbo àti ẹ̀yà, àti èdè, àti orílẹ̀, wo òkú wọn, wọn kò si jẹ kì a gbé òkú wọn sínú ibojì.
10 Those who live on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate. They will even send gifts to one another because these two prophets tormented those who lived on the earth.
Àti àwọn tí o ń gbé orí ilẹ̀ ayé yóò sì yọ̀ lé wọn lórí, wọn yóò sì ṣe àríyá, wọn ó sì ta ara wọn lọ́rẹ; nítorí tí àwọn wòlíì méjèèjì yìí dá àwọn tí o ń bẹ lórí ilẹ̀ ayé lóró.
11 But after three and a half days a breath of life from God will enter them, and they will stand on their feet. Great fear will fall on those who see them.
Àti lẹ́yìn ọjọ́ mẹ́ta àti ààbọ̀ náà, ẹ̀mí ìyè láti ọ̀dọ̀ Ọlọ́run wá wọ inú wọn, wọn sì dìde dúró ni ẹsẹ̀ wọn; ẹ̀rù ńlá sì ba àwọn tí o rí wọn.
12 Then they will hear a loud voice from heaven say to them, “Come up here!” Then they will go up into heaven in a cloud, while their enemies look on.
Wọn sì gbọ́ ohùn ńlá kan láti ọ̀run wá ń wí fún wọn pé, “Ẹ gòkè wá ìhín!” Wọn sì gòkè lọ sí ọ̀run nínú ìkùùkuu àwọsánmọ̀; lójú àwọn ọ̀tá wọn.
13 At that hour there will be a major earthquake, and a tenth part of the city will collapse. Seven thousand people will be killed in the earthquake, and the survivors will be terrified and give glory to the God of heaven.
Ní wákàtí náà omìmì-ilẹ̀ ńlá kan sì mì, ìdámẹ́wàá ìlú náà sì wó, àti nínú omìmì-ilẹ̀ náà ẹ̀ẹ́dẹ́gbàárin ènìyàn ní a pa; ẹ̀rù sì ba àwọn ìyókù, wọn sì fi ògo fún Ọlọ́run ọ̀run.
14 The second woe is past. Look! The third woe is coming quickly.
Ègbé kejì kọjá; sì kíyèsi i, ègbé kẹta sì ń bọ̀ wá kánkán.
15 Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices spoke in heaven and said, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever.” (aiōn g165)
Angẹli keje sì fọn ìpè; a sì gbọ́ ohùn ńlá láti ọ̀run, wí pé, “Ìjọba ayé di ti Olúwa wá, àti tí Kristi rẹ̀; òun yóò sì jẹ ọba láé àti láéláé!” (aiōn g165)
16 Then the twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones in the presence of God, fell upon their faces and worshiped God.
Àwọn àgbà mẹ́rìnlélógún náà tí wọn jókòó níwájú Ọlọ́run lórí ìtẹ́ wọn, dojúbolẹ̀, wọn sì sin Ọlọ́run,
17 They said, “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, the one who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.
wí pé: “Àwa fi ọpẹ́ fún ọ, Olúwa Ọlọ́run, Olódùmarè, tí ń bẹ, tí ó sì ti wà, nítorí pé ìwọ ti gba agbára ńlá rẹ̀, ìwọ sì ti jẹ ọba.
18 The nations were enraged, but your wrath has come. The time has come for the dead to be judged and for you to reward your servants the prophets, those who are believers, and those who feared your name, both the unimportant and the mighty. The time has come for you to destroy those who are destroying the earth.”
Inú bí àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ìbínú rẹ̀ ti dé, àti àkókò láti dá àwọn òkú lẹ́jọ́, àti láti fi èrè fún àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀ wòlíì, àti àwọn ènìyàn mímọ́, àti àwọn tí o bẹ̀rù orúkọ rẹ̀, àti ẹni kékeré àti ẹni ńlá; àti láti run àwọn tí ń pa ayé run.”
19 Then God's temple in heaven was opened and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, crashes of thunder, an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.
A sì ṣí tẹmpili Ọlọ́run sílẹ̀ ní ọ̀run, a sì ri àpótí májẹ̀mú nínú tẹmpili rẹ̀. Mọ̀nàmọ́ná sì kọ, a sì gbọ́ ohùn, àrá sì sán, ilẹ̀ sì mi, yìnyín ńlá sì bọ́.
