Psalms 91

1 He who lives in the shelter of the Most High will stay in the shadow of the Almighty.

౧సర్వోన్నతుడి చాటున నివసించే వాడు సర్వశక్తిశాలి నీడలో నిలిచి ఉంటాడు.

2 I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

౨ఆయనే నాకు ఆశ్రయం, నా కోట, నేను నమ్ముకునే నా దేవుడు, అని నేను యెహోవాను గురించి చెబుతాను.

3 For he will rescue you from the snare of the hunter and from the deadly plague.

౩వేటగాడు పన్నిన ఉచ్చు నుంచి ప్రాణాంతకవ్యాధి నుంచి ఆయన నిన్ను విడిపిస్తాడు.

4 He will cover you with his wings, and under his wings you will find refuge. His trustworthiness is a shield and protection.

౪ఆయన తన రెక్కలతో నిన్ను కప్పుతాడు. ఆయన రెక్కల కింద నీకు ఆశ్రయం దొరుకుతుంది. ఆయన నమ్మకత్వం నిన్ను కాపాడే కవచంగా ఉంటుంది.

5 You will not be afraid of terror in the night, or of the arrow that flies by day,

౫రాత్రిలో కలిగే భయభ్రాంతులకు, పగటివేళ ఎగిరి వచ్చే బాణాలకూ నువ్వు భయపడవు.

6 or of the plague that roams around in the darkness, or of the disease that comes at noontime.

౬చీకట్లో తచ్చాడే రోగానికిగానీ మధ్యాహ్నం సోకే వ్యాధికి గానీ నువ్వు బెదిరిపోవు.

7 A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not reach you.

౭నీ పక్కన వేయి మంది, నీ కుడిపక్కన పదివేల మంది నేలకూలినా అది నీ దరిదాపులకు రాదు.

8 You will only observe and see the punishment of the wicked.

౮దుర్మార్గులకు పడే శిక్ష నువ్వు చూస్తూ ఉంటావు.

9 For Yahweh is my refuge! Make the Most High your refuge also.

౯యెహోవా నా ఆశ్రయం. మహోన్నతుణ్ణి నీకు కూడా శరణుగా చేసుకో.

10 No evil will overtake you; no affliction will come near your home.

౧౦ఏ హానీ నిన్ను ముంచెత్తదు. ఏ ఆపదా నీ ఇంటి దరిదాపులకు రాదు.

11 For he will direct his angels to protect you, to guard you in all your ways.

౧౧నువ్వు చేసే వాటన్నిటిలో నిన్ను కాపాడడానికి ఆయన తన దూతలను పురమాయిస్తాడు.

12 They will lift you up with their hand so that you will not hit your foot on a stone.

౧౨నువ్వు జారి బండ రాయిపై పడిపోకుండా వాళ్ళు నిన్ను తమ చేతుల్లో ఎత్తి పట్టుకుంటారు.

13 You will crush lions and adders under your feet; you will trample on young lions and serpents.

౧౩నువ్వు సింహాలనూ నాగుపాములను నీ కాళ్ళ కింద తొక్కుతావు, సింహం కూనలను, పాములను అణగదొక్కుతావు.

14 Because he is devoted to me, I will rescue him. I will protect him because he is loyal to me.

౧౪అతనికి నా మీద భక్తి విశ్వాసాలున్నాయి గనక నేనతన్ని రక్షిస్తాను. అతడు నా పట్ల స్వామిభక్తి గలవాడు గనక నేనతన్ని కాపాడతాను.

15 When he calls to me, I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble; I will give him victory and will honor him.

౧౫అతడు నాకు మొరపెడితే నేనతనికి జవాబిస్తాను. కష్టాల్లో నేను అతనితో ఉంటాను, అతనికి విజయమిచ్చి అతన్ని సత్కరిస్తాను.

16 I will satisfy him with long life and show him my salvation.

౧౬దీర్ఘాయుష్షుతో అతన్ని తృప్తిపరుస్తాను. నా రక్షణ అతనికి చూపిస్తాను.
