< Psalms 90 >

1 A prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, you have been our refuge throughout all generations.
Fivavak’ i Mosesy, lehilahin’ Andriamanitra.
2 Before the mountains were formed, or you formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.
Fony tsy mbola ary ny tendrombohitra, Na voaforonao ny tany sy izao rehetra izao, Dia Andriamanitra Hianao hatramin’ ny taloha indrindra ka mandrakizay.
3 You return man to dust, and you say, “Return, you descendants of mankind.”
Mamerina ny olona ho amin’ ny vovoka Hianao Ka manao hoe: Miverena, ry zanak’ olombelona.
4 For a thousand years in your sight are as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Fa eo imasonao ny arivo taona dia toy ny fandalon’ ny omaly, Ary tahaka ny fotoam-piambenana iray amin’ ny alina.
5 You sweep them away as with a flood and they sleep; in the morning they are like the grass that sprouts up.
Manindao azy tahaka ny riaka Hianao torimaso izy; Amin’ ny maraina tahaka ny ahitra mora miova izy.
6 In the morning it blooms and grows up; in the evening it withers and dries up.
Amin’ ny maraina mamony izy, nefa mora miova; Amin’ ny hariva voajinja izy ka maina.
7 Truly, we are consumed in your anger, and in your wrath we are terrified.
Fa lanin’ ny fahatezeranao izahay, Ary raiki-tahotra noho ny fahaviniranao.
8 You have set our iniquities before you, our hidden sins in the light of your presence.
Ny helokay efa nataonao teo anatrehanao, Ary ny fahotanay miafina teo amin’ ny fahazavan’ ny tavanao.
9 Our life passes away under your wrath; our years quickly pass like a sigh.
Fa ny androanay rehetra efa lasa amin’ ny fahatezeranao; Efa laninay toy ny eritreritra ny taonanay.
10 Our years are seventy, or even eighty if we are healthy; but even our best years are marked by trouble and sorrow. Yes, they pass quickly, and we fly away.
Fito-polo taona no andron’ ny taonanay Ary raha tàhiny mateza aza, dia valo-polo taona, Nefa fahasasarana sy zava-poana ny voninahiny, Fa mihelina faingana izany, ka lasa manidina izahay.
11 Who knows the intensity of your anger, and your wrath that is equal to the fear of you?
Iza no mahafantatra ny herin’ ny fahatezeranao sy ny fahaviniranao Araka izay tokony ho fahatahorana Anao?
12 So teach us to consider our life so that we might live wisely.
Mampianara anay hanisa ny andronay, Hahazoanay fo hendry.
13 Turn back, Yahweh! How long will it be? Have pity on your servants.
Miverena, Jehovah ô! Mandra-pahoviana? Ary mba aneneno ny amin’ ny mpanomponao.
14 Satisfy us in the morning with your covenant faithfulness so that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Vokiso ny famindram-ponao nony maraina izahay, Mba hihobianay sy hifalianay amin’ ny andro rehetra hiainanay.
15 Make us glad in proportion to the days you afflicted us and to the years we have experienced trouble.
Mampifalia anay araka ny andro nampahorianao anay Sy ny taona nahitanay loza.
16 Let your servants see your work, and let our children see your majesty.
Aoka hiseho amin’ ny mpanomponao ny asanao, Ary ny voninahitrao amin’ ny zanany.
17 May the favor of the Lord our God be ours; prosper the work of our hands; indeed, prosper the work of our hands.
Ary aoka ho aminay ny fahasoavan’ ny Tompo Andriamanitray; Ary ampitoero aminay ny asan’ ny tananay; Eny, ny asan’ ny tananay, ampitoero izy.
