< Psalms 87 >
1 A psalm of the sons of Korah; a song. On the holy mount stands the city he founded;

2 Yahweh loves the gates of Zion more than all the tents of Jacob.

3 Glorious things are said of you, city of God. (Selah)
Pathen khopuei namah te n'thangpom a ti pai. (Selah)
4 “I mention Rahab and Babylon to my followers. See, there are Philistia, and Tyre, along with Cush— and will say, 'This one was born there.'”
Kai aka ming rhoek taengah Rahab neh Babylon he ka thoelh ni. Tekah khopuei long ni Philistia, Tyre neh Kusah khaw a sak ne.
5 Of Zion it will be said, “Each of these was born in her; and the Most High himself will establish her.”
Zion te khaw pakhat phoeiah pakhat loh, “Anih loh n'cun dongah Khohni loh a thoh bitni,” a ti uh ni.
6 Yahweh writes in the census book of the nations, “This one was born there.” (Selah)
Tekah a sak pilnam te BOEIPA loh a tae vetih ming a daek ni. (Selah)
7 So also the singers and the dancers say together, “All my fountains are in you.”
