< Psalms 85 >
1 For the chief musician. A psalm of the sons of Korah. Yahweh, you have showed favor to your land; you have restored the well-being of Jacob.
Koramma dwom. Wo Awurade, wodom wʼasase; wode Yakob ahonyade san maa no.
2 You have forgiven the sin of your people; you have covered all their sin. (Selah)
Wode wo nkurɔfo bɔne kyɛɛ wɔn na wokataa wɔn nnebɔne nyinaa so.
3 You have withdrawn all your wrath; you have turned back from your hot anger.
Wode wʼabufuw nyinaa too nkyɛn na wodan fii wʼabufuwhyew ho.
4 Restore us, God of our salvation, and let go of your displeasure with us.
San gye yɛn bio, Onyankopɔn, yɛn Gyefo, na ma wʼani nnye yɛn ho.
5 Will you be angry with us forever? Will you remain angry throughout future generations?
Wo bo befuw yɛn akosi daa ana? Wʼabufuw bɛtoa so akɔ awo ntoantoaso nyinaa so ana?
6 Will you not revive us again? Then your people will rejoice in you.
Worenhyɛ yɛn den bio, na ama wo nkurɔfo asɛpɛw wɔn ho wɔ wo mu ana?
7 Show us your covenant faithfulness, Yahweh, grant us your salvation.
Awurade, kyerɛ yɛn wo dɔ a ɛnsa da no, na ma yɛn wo nkwagye no.
8 I will listen to what Yahweh God says, for he will make peace with his people, his faithful followers. Yet they must not turn again to foolish ways.
Metie nea Awurade Nyankopɔn bɛka; ɔde asomdwoe hyɛ ne nkurɔfo, ahotefo no bɔ, enti ɛnsɛ sɛ wɔsan kɔ agyimisɛm ho.
9 Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him; then glory will remain in our land.
Ampa ara, ne nkwagye bɛn wɔn a wosuro no, na nʼanuonyam bɛtena yɛn asase so.
10 Covenant faithfulness and trustworthiness have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
Ɔdɔ ne nokwaredi behyia, na trenee ne asomdwoe befew wɔn ho wɔn ho ano.
11 Trustworthiness springs up from the ground, and righteousness looks down from the sky.
Nokwaredi bepue afi asase no so, na trenee ahwɛ afi ɔsoro.
12 Yes, Yahweh will give his good blessings, and our land will yield its crops.
Awurade bɛma yɛn nea eye ampa ara na yɛn asase bɛma ne nnɔbae.
13 Righteousness will go before him and make a way for his footsteps.
Trenee di nʼanim siesie ɔkwan ma nʼanammɔntu.
