Psalms 84

1 For the chief musician; set to the Gittith style. A psalm of the sons of Korah. How lovely is the place where you live, Yahweh of hosts!

Al Músico principal: sobre Gittith: Salmo para los hijos de Coré. ¡CUÁN amables son tus moradas, oh Jehová de los ejércitos!

2 I long for the courts of Yahweh, my desire for it has made me exhausted. My heart and all of my being call out to the living God.

Codicia y aun ardientemente desea mi alma los atrios de Jehová: mi corazón y mi carne cantan al Dios vivo.

3 Even the sparrow has found her a house and the swallow a nest for herself where she may lay her young near your altars, Yahweh of hosts, my King, and my God.

Aun el gorrión halla casa, y la golondrina nido para sí, donde ponga sus pollos en tus altares, oh Jehová de los ejércitos, rey mío, y Dios mío.

4 Blessed are they who live in your house; they praise you continually. (Selah)

Bienaventurados los que habitan en tu casa: perpetuamente te alabarán. (Selah)

5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in you, in whose heart are the highways up to Zion.

Bienaventurado el hombre que tiene su fortaleza en ti; en cuyo corazón están [tus] caminos.

6 Passing through the Valley of Tears, they find springs of water to drink. The early rains cover it with blessings.

Atravesando el valle de Baca pónenle por fuente, cuando la lluvia llena los estanques.

7 They go from strength to strength; every one of them appears before God in Zion.

Irán de fortaleza en fortaleza, verán á Dios en Sión.

8 Yahweh God of hosts, hear my prayer; God of Jacob, listen to what I am saying! (Selah)

Jehová Dios de los ejércitos, oye mi oración: escucha, oh Dios de Jacob. (Selah)

9 God, watch over our shield; show concern for your anointed.

Mira, oh Dios, escudo nuestro, y pon los ojos en el rostro de tu ungido.

10 For one day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to live within the tents of the wicked.

Porque mejor es un día en tus atrios que mil [fuera de ellos]: escogería antes estar á la puerta de la casa de mi Dios, que habitar en las moradas de maldad.

11 For Yahweh God is our sun and shield; Yahweh will give grace and glory; he does not withhold any good thing from those who walk in integrity.

Porque sol y escudo es Jehová Dios: gracia y gloria dará Jehová: no quitará el bien á los que en integridad andan.

12 Yahweh of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in you.

Jehová de los ejércitos, dichoso el hombre que en ti confía.
