< Psalms 80 >
1 For the chief musician, set to the Shoshannim Eduth style. A psalm of Asaph. Pay attention, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock; you who sit above the cherubim, shine on us!
Toloro ravembia ry Mpiarak’ Israele, ry Mpiaolo’ Iosefe hoe t’ie lia-raike; ry Mpiambesatse ambone’ o kerobeo, mireandreaña!
2 In the sight of Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up your power; come and save us.
Tsekafo añatrefa’ i Efraime naho i Beniamine naho i Menase ty haozara’o vaho mb’etoa hañimba anay!
3 God, restore us; make your face shine on us, and we will be saved.
Ry Andrianañahare, Ampolio zahay naho ampireandreaño laharañe, soa te ho tra-drombake zahay.
4 Yahweh God of hosts, how long will you be angry at your people when they pray?
O ry Iehovà Andrianañahare’ i Màroy, pak’ombia ty mbe hiviñera’o ty halali’ ondati’oo?
5 You have fed them with the bread of tears and given them tears to drink in great quantities.
Nazotso’o mofon-dranom-pihaino, naho nampigenohe’o ranomaso am-pitovy telo.
6 You make us something for our neighbors to argue over, and our enemies laugh about us among themselves.
Ampanivetivè’o ondaty mañohok’anaio; vaho vereverè’ o rafelahi’aio.
7 God of hosts, restore us; make your face shine on us, and we will be saved.
Ry Andrianañahare’ i Màroy. Ampolio zahay, ampireandreaño ty lahara’o, soa t’ie ho tra-drombake.
8 You brought a vine out of Egypt; you drove out nations and transplanted it.
Nitsongoe’o boak’e Mitsraime ty vahe; rinoa’o o kilakila‘ndatio naho naketsa’o.
9 You cleared the land for it; it took root and filled the land.
Nihatsafe’o ty tane aolo’e eo, naho nampandaleke o vaha’eo, vaho nanitsife’o i taney.
10 The mountains were covered with its shade, the cedars of God by its branches.
Nikopahe’ i alo’ey o vohitseo; naho o tsampa’eo o mendoraveñe ra’elahio.
11 It sent out its branches as far as the sea and its shoots to the Euphrates River.
Nandrevake mb’amy riakey o ra’eo, naho pak’amy sakay añe o tora’eo.
12 Why have you broken down its walls so that all who pass by along the road pluck its fruit?
Aa vaho akore ty nandrotsaha’o o fahe’eo, hitimpona’ ze miary eo,
13 The boars out of the forest ruin it, and the beasts of the field feed on it.
Troatroae’ ty lambon’ ala, vaho abotse’ ze misitsitse an-kivoke ey.
14 Turn back, God of hosts; look down from heaven and take notice and take care of this vine.
Ry Andrianañahare’ i màroy, Ehe, Mibaliha, mijilova boak’ an-dikerañe ao naho vazoho vaho tiliho ty vahe toy,
15 This is the root that your right hand planted, the shoot that you made to grow.
Eka! i tora’e naketsam-pitàn-kavana’oy, i ana-dahy nampaozare’o ho Azoy,
16 It has been burned and cut down; they perish because of your rebuke.
finorototo’ ty afo, finira, mihomake ami’ty fitrevohan-dahara’o.
17 May your hand be on the man of your right hand, on the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.
Anampezo fitàñe indatim-pitàn-kavana’oy, i ana’ ondaty nampifatrare’o ho Azoy.
18 Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name.
Vaho tsy hiambohoa’ay; Ehe sotraho, hikanjia’ay ty tahina’o.
19 Yahweh God of hosts, restore us; make your face shine on us, and we will be saved.
Ry Iehovà Andrianañahare’ i Màroy; Ampolio zahay, ampireandreaño ama’ay ty lahara’o, vaho ho tra-drombake.
