< Psalms 76 >
1 For the chief musician, on stringed instruments. A psalm of Asaph, a song. God has made himself known in Judah; his name is great in Israel.
Fohiñe e Iehodà ao t’i Andrianañahare; ra’elahy e Israele ao i tahina’ey.
2 His tent is in Salem; his dwelling place is in Zion.
E Salema ao ty kivoho’e; e Tsiône ao ty fimoneña’e.
3 There he broke the arrows of the bow, the shield, the sword, and the other weapons of war. (Selah)
Teo ty nampipeñafa’e o ana-pale nibebañeo, o kalan-defoñeo, o fibarao, naho o hotakotakeo. Selà
4 You shine brightly and reveal your glory, as you descend from the mountains, where you killed your victims.
Mireandrean-drehe, am-bolonahetse, mandikoatse ty vohitse aman-tsindroke.
5 The bravehearted were plundered; they fell asleep. All the warriors were helpless.
Nivoloseñe o fanalolahio, ie nilañake ty rotse, ndra raik’ amo lahi-maozatseo tsy nahaisake ty fità’e.
6 At your rebuke, God of Jacob, both rider and horse fell asleep.
Ami’ty trevo’o, ry Andrianañahare’ Iakobe, le sindre nitsikorak’ an-drotse ty mpiningitse reke-tsoavala.
7 You, yes you, are to be feared; who can stand in your sight when you are angry?
Ihe le Ihe avao ro añeveñañe! Ia ty mahafitroatse añatrefa’o eo te ihe ro viñetse?
8 From heaven you made your judgment heard; the earth was afraid and silent
Nampijanjiñe’o boak’ an-dikerañe añe ty zaka, nihembañe ty tane toy vaho nitsiñe,
9 when you, God, arose to execute judgment and to save all the oppressed of the earth. (Selah)
ie nitroatse hizaka t’i Andrianañahare handrombake o mpisotri’ ty tane toio. Selà
10 Surely your angry judgment against humanity will bring you praise; you gird yourself with what is left of your anger.
Toe handrenge Azo ty haboseha’ ondatio, ho sadiañe’o ty tsy niritse amo haviñerañeo.
11 Make vows to Yahweh your God and keep them. May all who surround him bring gifts to him who is to be feared.
Mifantà am’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo, le henefo; Songa mañengà amy Mampañeveñey o mañohok’ azeo.
12 He cuts off the spirit of the princes; he is feared by the kings of the earth.
Aitoa’e ty kofò’ o roandriañeo; irevendreveña’ o mpanjaka’ ty tane toio.
