Psalms 70

1 For the chief musician. A psalm of David; to bring to remembrance. Save me, God! Yahweh, come quickly and help me.

സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു ജ്ഞാപകസങ്കീർത്തനം. ദൈവമേ, എന്നെ വിടുവിപ്പാൻ, യഹോവേ, എന്നെ സഹായിപ്പാൻ വേഗം വരേണമേ.

2 Let those who try to take my life be ashamed and humiliated; let them be turned back and brought to dishonor, those who take pleasure in my pain.

എനിക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നവർ ലജ്ജിച്ചു ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകട്ടെ; എന്റെ അനർത്ഥത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നവർ പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞു അപമാനം ഏല്ക്കട്ടെ.

3 Let them be turned back because of their shame, those who say, “Aha, aha.”

നന്നായി നന്നായി എന്നു പറയുന്നവർ തങ്ങളുടെ നാണംനിമിത്തം പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞു പോകട്ടെ.

4 Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; let those who love your salvation always say, “May God be praised.”

നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരൊക്കെയും നിന്നിൽ ആനന്ദിച്ചു സന്തോഷിക്കട്ടെ; നിന്റെ രക്ഷയെ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നവർ: ദൈവം മഹത്വമുള്ളവനെന്നു എപ്പോഴും പറയട്ടെ.

5 But I am poor and needy; hurry to me, God; you are my help and you rescue me. Yahweh, do not delay.

ഞാനോ എളിയവനും ദരിദ്രനും ആകുന്നു; ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വേഗം വരേണമേ; നീ തന്നേ എന്റെ സഹായവും എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നവനും ആകുന്നു; യഹോവേ, താമസിക്കരുതേ.
