< Psalms 7 >
1 A musical composition of David, which he sang to Yahweh concerning the words of Cush the Benjamite. Yahweh my God, I take refuge in you! Save me from all who chase me, and rescue me.
Dawid adesrɛ dwom a Benyaminni Kus nsɛm nti ɔto maa Awurade. Awurade me Nyankopɔn, miguan toa wo; Gye me fi wɔn a wɔtaa me nyinaa nsam,
2 Otherwise, they will rip me apart like a lion, tearing me in pieces with no one else able to bring me to safety.
anyɛ saa a wɔbɛtetew me mu sɛ gyata na wɔatetew me mu asinasin a obiara rentumi nnye me.
3 Yahweh my God, if I have done this, and there is guilt on my hands—
Awurade me Nyankopɔn, sɛ mayɛ eyi na sɛ afɔdi aba me so a,
4 if I have done evil to him who was at peace with me, or senselessly harmed my enemy without cause, then hear my words.
sɛ mayɛ bɔne atia nea ɔne me te yiye, anaasɛ mabɔ me tamfo korɔn kwa a,
5 Then let my enemy pursue my life and overtake me; let him trample my life to the ground and lay my honor in the dust. (Selah)
ɛno de ma mʼatamfo ntaa me na wɔmmɛto me; ma wontiatia me so wɔ fam, na wɔmma me funu nna mfutuma mu.
6 Arise, Yahweh, in your anger; stand up against the rage of my enemies; wake up for my sake and carry out the righteous decrees that you have commanded for them.
Sɔre wɔ wʼabufuw mu, Awurade! Sɔre tia mʼatamfo abufuw. Nyan, me Nyankopɔn; hyɛ atɛntrenee mmara.
7 The countries are assembled all around you; take once more your rightful place over them.
Ma nnipadɔm mmetwa wo ho nhyia. Fi ɔsoro hɔ di wɔn so;
8 Yahweh, judge the nations; vindicate me, Yahweh, because I am righteous and innocent, Most High.
ma Awurade mmu nnipa no atɛn. Bu me atɛn, Awurade sɛnea me trenee te, sɛnea me nokwaredi te, Ao, Ɔsorosoroni.
9 May the evil deeds of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous people, righteous God, you who examine hearts and minds.
Onyankopɔn treneeni, wo a wohwehwɛ adwene ne koma mu, fa amumɔyɛfo basabasayɛ bra awiei na ma atreneefo nnya bammɔ.
10 My shield comes from God, the one who saves the upright in heart.
Me nkatabo ne Ɔsorosoro Nyankopɔn nea ogye koma mu treneeni no.
11 God is a righteous judge, a God who is indignant each day.
Onyankopɔn yɛ otemmufo treneeni, Onyame a ɔda nʼabufuwhyew adi da biara.
12 If a person does not repent, God will sharpen his sword and will prepare his bow for battle.
Sɛ wansesa nʼadwene a, ɔbɛsew nʼafoa ano; obekuntun ne tadua na ɔde bɛmma ahyɛ mu.
13 He prepares to use weapons against him; he makes his arrows flaming shafts.
Wasiesie nʼakode a ɛyɛ hu; ayɛ ne bɛmma a ɛredɛw no krado.
14 Think about the one who is pregnant with wickedness, who conceives destructive plans, who gives birth to harmful lies.
Nea onyinsɛn amumɔyɛ na basabasayɛ ahyɛ no ma no, ɔwo nnaadaa.
15 He digs a pit and hollows it out and then falls into the hole he has made.
Nea otu tokuru, na oyi mu dɔte no hwe tokuru a watu no mu.
16 His own destructive plans return to his own head, for his violence comes down on his own head.
Ɔhaw a ɔde ba no dan bɔ nʼankasa so; ne basabasayɛ bɔ nʼankasa ti so.
17 I will give thanks to Yahweh for his justice; I will sing praise to Yahweh Most High.
Mede aseda bɛma Awurade, ne trenee nti, na mato ayeyi dwom ayi Awurade, Ɔsorosoroni no din ayɛ. Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo se wɔnto no “gittit” sanku nne so.
