< Psalms 7 >
1 A musical composition of David, which he sang to Yahweh concerning the words of Cush the Benjamite. Yahweh my God, I take refuge in you! Save me from all who chase me, and rescue me.
Zabbuli ya Dawudi gye yayimbira Mukama ng’efa ku Kuusi Omubenyamini. Ayi Mukama, Katonda wange, neesiga ggwe: ngobaako bonna abangigganya era omponye,
2 Otherwise, they will rip me apart like a lion, tearing me in pieces with no one else able to bring me to safety.
si kulwa nga bantagulataagula ng’empologoma ne bankutulakutula obufiififi ne watabaawo amponya.
3 Yahweh my God, if I have done this, and there is guilt on my hands—
Ayi Mukama, Katonda wange, obanga nkoze kino, era ng’engalo zange ziriko omusango,
4 if I have done evil to him who was at peace with me, or senselessly harmed my enemy without cause, then hear my words.
obanga waliwo andaze ebirungi nze ne si muyisa bulungi, oba nzibye omulabe wange awatali nsonga:
5 Then let my enemy pursue my life and overtake me; let him trample my life to the ground and lay my honor in the dust. (Selah)
Kale, abalabe bange baleke bangoberere bankwate, bankube wansi banninnyirire, banzitire mu nfuufu.
6 Arise, Yahweh, in your anger; stand up against the rage of my enemies; wake up for my sake and carry out the righteous decrees that you have commanded for them.
Golokoka, Ayi Mukama, mu busungu bwo oziyize abalabe bange abajjudde obukambwe. Golokoka, Ayi Katonda wange, onnyambe ggwe asala omusango mu bwenkanya.
7 The countries are assembled all around you; take once more your rightful place over them.
Kuŋŋaanya bannaggwanga bonna okukwetooloola; obafuge ng’oli waggulu ennyo.
8 Yahweh, judge the nations; vindicate me, Yahweh, because I am righteous and innocent, Most High.
Ggwe, Ayi Mukama, Ali Waggulu Ennyo, asalira amawanga gonna emisango, osale omusango gwange Ayi Mukama Ali Waggulu Ennyo ng’obutuukirivu bwange bwe buli, era n’amazima agali mu nze bwe gali.
9 May the evil deeds of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous people, righteous God, you who examine hearts and minds.
Ayi Katonda omutukuvu, akebera emitima n’emmeeme; okomye ebikolwa by’abakola ebibi: era onyweze abatuukirivu.
10 My shield comes from God, the one who saves the upright in heart.
Katonda Ali Waggulu Ennyo ye ngabo yange; alokola abo abalina omutima omulongoofu.
11 God is a righteous judge, a God who is indignant each day.
Katonda mulamuzi wa mazima; era alaga ekiruyi kye buli lunaku.
12 If a person does not repent, God will sharpen his sword and will prepare his bow for battle.
Mukama awagala ekitala kye n’aleega omutego gwe ogw’obusaale.
13 He prepares to use weapons against him; he makes his arrows flaming shafts.
Era ategese ebyokulwanyisa ebissi; era akozesa obusaale obw’omuliro.
14 Think about the one who is pregnant with wickedness, who conceives destructive plans, who gives birth to harmful lies.
Omuntu ajjudde ebibi afuna emitawaana, n’azaala obulimba.
15 He digs a pit and hollows it out and then falls into the hole he has made.
Asima ekinnya, n’akiwanvuya nnyo; ate n’akigwamu ye kye yasimye.
16 His own destructive plans return to his own head, for his violence comes down on his own head.
Emitawaana gye gimwebunguludde; n’obukambwe bwe bumuddire.
17 I will give thanks to Yahweh for his justice; I will sing praise to Yahweh Most High.
Nneebazanga Mukama olw’obutuukirivu bwe; nnaayimbanga nga ntendereza erinnya lya Mukama Ali Waggulu Ennyo.
